Abstract

The research aims to determine the cost, revenue, profit of industry milkfish presto Bu Jumiati,  identify internal and external factors that affecting the development industry milkfish presto Bu Jumiati, to determine alternative strategy and strategy priority in development of industry milkfish presto Bu Jumiati. The basic method of research is descriptive with case study implementation technique. The location of the research is determined by purposive in industry milkfish presto Bu Jumiati. Analysis of the data used are (1) Analysis of cost, revenue, and profit, (2) IFE, (3) EFE, (4) SWOT, (5) QSPM. The results showed (1) Total cost of expenditure of Idr 69.043.750, the receipt of Idr 83,4 million, profit of Idr 14.356.250; (2) IFE indicates there are eight strengths and six weaknesses; (3) EFE shows there are five opportunities and five threats; (4) Alternative strategies that can be applied is to seek certificates of PIRT, halal certificate and include expiration date on product packaging, make improvements to bookkeeping management, design sales promotion with online media to increase sales and increase market development, foster strong motivation Owner of industry milkfish presto to attend information technology training and financial management; (5) A good strategic priority to apply is to obtain a PIRT certificate, a Halal certificate and include an expiration date on the product packaging.

Abstract

This study examines socioeconomic factors on consumer loyalty in choosing to shop at the traditional Ampel market in Boyolali Regency. In order for traditional markets to survive and develop in the competitive business world in competing for consumers, it must be able to understand it’s consumers. Many factors can influence consumer loyalty in choosing to shop in traditional markets. In this study the factors that are thought to influence are product prices, product quality, merchant service, product location and market days. The type of research used is a survey with 50 sampling using incidental sampling. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression. Instrument test results show all valid and reliable. Multiple linear regression test shows Y = -9,199 + 0.510 X1 + 0.460 X2 - 0.192 X3 + 0.708 X4 + 0.551 X5. It is shows that product price variables, product quality, market location and market day have a positive effect on consumer loyalty.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the considered factors and the dominant variables which considered by consumers into buying Bimoli’s cooking oil at supermarket in Wonogiri regency. The basic method in this research is analytical descriptive with survey techniques. Location research purposively determined. The sampling method used was judgment sampling and data analysis method used is factor analysis. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of factor analysis  showed that  there  are  7 factors  that  become  consumer  consideration  in buying Bimoli cooking oil product at supermarket in Wonogiri regency. The seven factors are based on their priorities are product factors, individual factors, promotion factors, packaging factors, process factors, place factors, and psychological factors. The  dominant  variables  considered  by  consumer  are  clarity  variable  on  product factor, variable of income level on individual factor, advertisement display variable on promotion factor, image variable and color of packaging on packing factor, service variable on process factor, comfort variable at place factor, and Confidence variable on psychological factors.

Abstract

Rice Milling Agroindustry was a business engaged in time after rice harvest that would process dry milled rice (GKG) into rice. This study aims to obtained cost, income, income and break even point (BEP) in unit (Kg) and price (Rp) of small agroindustry rice mill in Sragen regency. The basic method of research used analytical descriptive method with survey technique. Determination of location of sample sub- district was done by purposive, that was Kedawung, Masaran and Tanon Subdistrict. Respondents were taken with purposive sampling of 30 people. The types and sources of data used from the primary and secondary data. Technical data was done by interview, observation and documentation. The results showed the average amount of operating revenues of IDR 3,440,880,724/year and IDR 478,41,.307/year. The fficiency of the business were 1.16 and can be said to be efficient because the R/C ratio was more than one. Break even point (BEP) of Small rice milling agroindustry business on the basis of price (IDR) has their breakeven business position broken down by the main output of brown rice from IDR 508,027,645, white rice IDR 30,825,245, gloss rice at IDR 181,746,850. BEP on the basis of unit with main product of white rice was equal to66,610 Kg, 36,588 kg of gloss of rice, brown rice of 109.963 Kg.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the pattern of marketing channels, the role and function of marketing agencies, cost, profit, marketing margins, as well as examine the most  economically  efficient  fresh  tuna  fish  marketing  channels  in  Pacitan.  The research location is in Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP) Tamperan Pacitan. Methods of sample selection was accidental sampling for fishermen and snowball sampling  for  marketing  agencies.  The  results  showed  that  (1)  there  are  three marketing channels of fresh tuna, namely, the Marketing channel I (fisherman- collector- retailer- household consumers), the channel II (fisherman-collector- industrial consumers in the city) channel III (fishermen – collector – wholesalers). (2) collector has exchange function and physical function, wholesalers have an exchange function, physical function and function facilities, while retailers have exchange function and physical function. (3) In the first line the total cost of Rp 1.3.14,83 / kg, the total profit of Rp 4685.17 / kg, total marketing margin of Rp 6000.00 / kg and the farmer's share of 71.43%. total cost marketing of channel II is Rp 2195.75 / kg, the total profit of Rp 2804.25 / kg, the total margin is Rp 5000.00 / kg and the farmer's share of 83.33%. total cost marketing channel III is Rp 7.455 90 / kg, the total profit of Rp 3544.10 / kg, total marketing margin is Rp 11,000 / kg and the farmer's share of78.43%. (4) Channel II is the most efficient channel economically with farmer's percentage share of 83.33%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of beef cattle business scale in Mmalingping and Hasanah breeders in Sukabumi Regency. The study was conducted on a group of beef cattle farmers in Purabaya District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province, in 2016. With a structured interview survey method for a group of Malingping beef cattle breeders by purposive random sampling as many as 18 farmers, and the Hasanah breeders group of 18 farmers. Each group of breeders is divided into 2 (two) parts, namely group I maintains beef cattle on a 2-3-scale scale and group II maintains beef cattle on a scale of 4-6 head. The research data is then tabulated by descriptive, quantitative and financial economic analysis of the B/C ratio. The results of the financial economic analysis of the net profit in the breeders of Malingping  beef  cattle  from  the  maintenance  of  2  mains  to  3  mains  of  IDR 2,078,000/year to IDR 5,799,500/years, or an increase of 65.13%, B/C ratio 1.06-1.12. The net profit in the Hasanah beef cattle breeders group from 2 parent scale maintenance to 3 parent head scale is IDR 2,384,000/year to be IDR 5,009,250/year, or an increase of 64.18%, B/C ratio 1.05-1.10. If the Malingping and Hasanah beef cattle  breeders  maintain  a  scale  of  >3  productive  female  mothers,  it  is  veryeconomical, effective and efficient, economically beneficial.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know factors that considered by consumer  and  reviewing  dominant  variables  affecting  consumers  consideration toward  repeat  purchase  decision  on  Kalimilk  product  in  Yogyakarta.  The  basic method of this research is analytical description. Location methods performed by purposive sampling method. The location was used as a place of research is the main store of Kalimilk in Kaliurang Km 4.5 Yogyakarta. Method of sampling done by purposive sampling. The total sample set was as much as 96 respondents. The data source is primary and secondary data. Data analysis used in this research is factor analysis. The results showed that from  the 14 variables that were analyzed, it can be simplified into 13 variables and is included in the three core factors. Based on the priority factor, there are, the factor of suitability of products that have percentage of variance 49.023%, place factors that have a variance percentage value of 12.450%, and promotional factors that have a variance percentage value of 8.585%. While most dominant  variable  considered  by  consumers  in  the  purchase  decision  of    dairy products Kalimilk from each of the core factors that form the variable affordability of product form suitability factors, variable comfort of a place factor, and a variable bonus of promotion factor. The dominant variable for all variables are researched based on the loading factor value of all the variables is a variable bonus to the value of  factor  loading  0.876,  affordability  with  a  value  of  factor  loading  0.860,  and variable social media with a value of factor loading  of 0.858.

Abstract

The developing of agriculture has many supports from both government and non-government institutions, implementing in the form of grants/assistance/loan to farmers. There are many types grants can be accessed by farmers on the condition of submitting proposals. On the other hand, farmers with a majority of low-educated people find it difficult to perform. As a extension agent, the contract officer  (THL-TB) of agricultural extension agents have obligation to provide assistance to the farmers. Unfortunately, they have limitation capacity and access to develop self-capacity cause the number THL-TB of agricultural extension agents have limitation experiences. This study has aims to determine the characteristics of THL-TB of agricultural extension agent in Jember Regency and to analyze the introduction of training plan model of grant writing skill for THL-TB agricultural extension agent in Jember Regency. The analysis method is descriptive analysis and training plan model of Goad. The target of training participants are 48 THL-TB agricultural extension agents in Jember Regency who  under  40  years  old  with  highest  education  (D3  and  bachelor  degree  I). Introducing training plans uses the basis of the Pimentel and Franco approache consist of 3 elements, they are pre-implementation, implementation and post-implementation.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to know the cost and the income of rice field farming and to analyze the influence factors in the income of rice field farming in Cawas, Klaten. The basic method that used in this study was descriptive analytics method. The study area was determined by purposive. It was done by considering the study area that had the largest rice field in Klaten. The data were collected using primary and secondary data. The result showed that: the cost commercializes of the rice field farming were used by the farmer was Rp 14.543.253/Ha, the revenue were accepted by the farmer was Rp 22.814.234/Ha, and the income that accepted by the farmer was Rp 8.270.981/Ha every season. The factors that influence to the income of rice field farming in Cawas, Klaten were labor productivity, pesticide cost, selling price, land productivity, and tractor cost. Other factors tested were age, education, experience, the number of family burden, fertilizer cost, the number of family members active in farming, and type of irrigation did not significant affected to the rice field farming income in Cawas, Klaten.

Abstract

Conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural becomes unavoidable, given the high demand for land use to promote economic development. Conversion of agricultural land mostly occurs in urban areas affecting the changing patterns and distribution of agricultural land tenure in urban areas. Higher rents for land in urban areas will trigger land conversion and lead to imbalances in agricultural land tenure. Changes in the distribution of agricultural land will affect farm income, because agricultural land is a valuable asset for farmers and affects their farm income. The purpose of this study was to determine the inequality of agricultural land tenure and farm income in urban areas of Jember. Using analytical method with gini index and descriptive method. Samples were determined by simple random sampling and 43 samples were obtained. The result of the research shows that: (1) land tenure index of agricultural land is 0.52 which means that farm ownership in Jember urban areas is unequal, (2) farm income with gini index 0.46 means that income of farming activity in urban area is uneven.
