Abstract

Harapan Jaya Autobus company has experienced difficulties in the process of ticket booking.Many customers have complained that the process of ticket booking gives less satisfaction to the customer. Therefore, website design and creation is needed to enhance customer service. There are three stages to design and build webiste of PO. Harapan Jaya to support marketing activities. The first stage is analyzing the curent system to determine the needs of the proposed system. The second stage is designing a data flow diagram based on system requirements analysis. The last step is designing a system that consists of database design, business applications system design, and user interface design. Database design consists of conceptual, physical, and logical database design. Business application system design consists of designing the system architecture, network architecture, and security system, while the design of the user interface is divided into the user interface for the back end and front end. The website is tested using black-box testing. The results of the testing process is the website works well and the user interface is user friendly

Abstract

Laporan keuangan merupakan salah satu alat penting bagi suatu perusahaan, karena baik-buruknyakondisi perusahaan dapat dianalisis dengan menggunakan komponen-komponen di dalamnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kinerja perusahaan pertambangan XYZ berdasarkan laporan keuangan perusahaan dengan analisis DuPont. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan bersih perusahaan masih kecil, ketika penjualan yang dihasilkan sangat besar. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya gap yang sangat besar di antara keduanya. Penelitian ini memberikan usulan program perbaikan kinerja guna menaikkan Return on Assets perusahaan dan membuat usulan program perbaikan kinerja dalam rangka meningkatkan produktivitas pekerja agar dapat meningkatkan hasil pendapatan bersih perusahaan

Abstract

New article information regarding the level need of new article books related techniquessupported the technology development in the industry, the student mobility capital ownership and need to design a portable system searches and can be used to access the information on the site new articles more easily. Abstract

“Pedagang Kaki Lima” (PKL) give contribution on absorption of unempolyment, improvement of seller’s walfare, and ease of fulfillment public consumption. In fact, many “pedagang kaki lima” were not considered, the example is around vegetable seller. That is about suitable of transportation to go around vegetable seller, especially to go around vegetable seller by using bike. There is complaint about their’s bike. The point of that complaint is their health. Whereas, the health must be kept in order to be always healthy and do good work. So, it needed design of bike suitable for the consumer needs, ergonomic, and safety of falling from bike in order to keep their health. In making that bike design it is used Quality Function Deployment Method. That method is used to design of bike based on the voice of customer. Besides using QFD method, it is also used anthropometry approach. The design which choosen in this research is C design. It has specifications using roller bearing, quantity of serration is 50 serration in chainwheel and 24 serration in cassette, material of velk is aluminum alloy, maximal wide of wheel is 4,5 cm, dimension of handle bar is 38,4 cm for lenght and 10,9 cm for lenght of handful, distance from handle bar to land is 92 cm, distance from handle bar to saddle is 448,4 cm, dimension of front basket is 113 cm for lenght, 63 cm for wide, 60 cm for high and dimension of back basket is 113 cm for lenght, 25 cm for wide, 45 cm for high, and the last is quantity of wheel is 4.

Abstract

Disaster management is one of the activities done to reduce losses from natural disasters. Important document is one of the valuable assets owned by the people. A system of document storage services is needed to reduce such losses. The concept of reverse logistics is an appropriate method to be applied in this case, because the flows of goods come from the consumers to the warehouses. Besides deposited, certain important documents such as vehicle certificate and land certificate can also be pawned to obtain loan. To manage the storage processing and documents pawning, it is necessary to build an appropriate application to this case. Smartphone-based mobile applicationis quite fit because the situation at the disaster site is very limited. The application built is a smart client application thatcan access datafrom the server via webservice. The webservice is built with REST architecture and JSON message format to exchange data between server and client, while Android is selectedas the client’s device

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the distribution of heavy equipment and spare parts, and related services. Based on a preliminary prospectus in 2012, it is known that there are inefficiencies in the company's inventory. It increases the cost of inventory that can be allocated for the promotion. Further research is performed using the Du Pont analysis. This paper aims to determine the proposed improvements to the PT. XYZ. Du Pont analysis includes an analysis of the rate of equity, net profit margin and total assets turnover. Based on the analysis and discussion, it is known the value of ROE, NPM, and TAT of the company needs to be improved. NPM value of the company describes the effective use of corporate assets. While TAT measure the turnover rate of the company assets that include asset utilization efficiency and speed in the form of cash refunds.

Abstract

Dalam melakukan pekerjaan penjemuran daun tembakau rajangan, para pekerja menggunakan tampah penjemuran sebagai tempat meletakkan daun tembakau rajangan. Tampah penjemuran daun tembakau rajangan tersebut dilakukan dengan mengandalkan dari panas sinar matahari. Meja penjemur yang digunakan pekerja adalah sebuah bambu yang ditancapkan pada tanah untuk meletakkan tampah jemuran. Pekerja menjemur daun tembakau menggunakan peralatan seadanya tanpa memperhatikan peralatannya. Pada proses penjemuran pekerja mengangkat tampah jemuran secara berulang-ulang karena banyaknya daun tembakau yang harus dijemur, maka pekerja memakan waktu lebih lama untuk menunggu keringnya daun tembakau rajangan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang timbul perlu adanya perancangan alat bantu tampah jemuran daun tembakau rajangan dengan mengakomodir keluhan dan kenyamanan para pekerja. Tahapan dalam perancangan alat bantu tampah jemuran daun tembakau rajangan terdiri dari identifikasi kebutuhan, pembangkitan gagasan (idea) atau alternatif, penentuan dimensi alat bantu tampah jemuran daun tembakau rajangan, pembuatan gambar alat bantu tampah jemuran daun tembakau rajangan. Output dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkannya rancangan alat bantu tampah jemuran daun tembakau rajangan yang mampu memberikan kenyamanan pekerja dengan pemberian engsel pada meja dan empat mata kancing pada kaki meja, empat mata kancing ini berfungsi sebagai pengatur kemiringan alat bantu tampah jemuran, sehingga pekerja dapat memiringkan meja kearah sinar matahari sesuai dengan kebutuhan pekerja. Dimensi ukuran alat bantu tampah jemuran juga sesuai dengan tubuh pekerja, karena perancangan alat bantu tampah jemuran menggunakan data anthropometri pekerja yang sudah di uji statistik terlebih dahulu. Hasil rancangan alat bantu tampah jemuran kemudian diujicobakan kepada pekerja penjemur daun tembakau rajangan mampu mengatasi keluhan lamanya proses penjemuran dan sesuai dengan tubuh para pekerja.

Abstract

Wireless Internet Media is wireless internet access which marks that the technology has become more advanced. Nowadays, mobile phones are not only used for communication but, can also accessing internet. Moreover, the discovery of the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) enables a mobile phone (mobile device) to access a lot of information, one of which is information about the Digital Library (Digilib). Digilib are inseparable part of the students, because it provides a collection of informations that can be used by the students as a reference to support lectures in particular and education in general. Therefore, a student or those who come from the education world inevitably will use this Digilib services. Many Digilibs are supported by web-based services. However, not all users can access Digilib easily because of limited personal internet access, so this thesis gives a solution to build Digilib applications based on Wireless Application Protocol (WAP-based). The result of this research is to produce a design of Digilib with a variety of features, such as a detailed book review, book search, and a link to download the books. This application was built using the Wireless Markup Language (WML) as programming language and PHP using MySQL database.

Abstract

PT. Aston System Indonesia is company engaged on the printer sale and purchase. PT. Aston System Indonesia requires a performance measurement to measure the performance of the business units. Currently, Measurements is still focused on the financial term . Good performance can be measured by profit and non-profit assessment. Performance Prism can help PT. Aston System Indonesia to generate stakeholder satisfaction and contribution to be an objectives, strategies, processes, and capabilities. The level of success can be measured with a Performance Indicator(PI). The result of this design shows 38 PI which scattered in 11 objectives, 23 strategies, 16 processes, and 24 capability and associated with the four stakeholders. Based on a weighting of performance indicators, 10 indicators of performance that has the highest weight selected as key performance indicators (Key Performance Indicators or KPI) such as Warranty claims (0082), customer satisfaction index (0078), Accuracy pay the supplier (0.075), ratio inaccuracy order completion time (0073), the availability of stock (0.063), Data Updates (0057), a fast moving product (0.047), percentage increase in salary (0044), Giving cashback / discount (0.040) and the percentage attendance (0.030

Abstract

Dalam proses produksi rokok melewati beberapa proses, salah satunya adalah proses perajangan daun tembakau. Dalam proses perajangan, petani tembakau masih banyak yang menggunakan cara manual. Dalam melakukan aktivitas perajangan daun tembakau para pekerja duduk dipapan alas duduk perajangan, kemudian kedua tangannya untuk tangan kirinya memegang daun tembakau, sedangkan tangan kanannya memegang pisau untuk merajang. Pekerja perajang daun tembakau menggunakan alat yang seadanya tidak memperhatikan ukurannya sesuai anthropometri pekerja, sehingga pekerja mengalami keluhan nyeri dipinggang dan tangan cepat pegal. Hal ini disebabkan pekerja dalam posisi duduk agak membungkuk dalam melakukan aktivitas perajangan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang timbul perlu adanya perancangan ulang alat perajangan daun tembakau untuk mengurangi keluhan para pekerja. Tahapan dalam perancangan ulang alat perajangan daun tembakau terdiri dari identifikasi pekerja dalam melakukan aktivitas perajangan, mengkonversi keluhan pekerja, pembangkitan gagasan (idea), rancangan alat perajangan daun tembakau. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkannya rancangan ulang alat perajangan daun tembakau yang mampu mengatasi rasa nyeri di pinggang dan pegal ditangan pekerja dengan menaikkan papan alas duduk dan papan merajang. Dimensi ukuran alat gendong juga sesuai dengan tubuh pekerja, karena perancangan alat perajangan daun tembakau menggunakan data anthropometri pekerja yang sudah di uji statistik terlebih dahulu. Hasil rancangan alat perajangan daun tembakau kemudian diujicobakan kepada pekerja mampu mengatasi keluhan rasa nyeri dan pegal sesuai dengan ukuran tubuh pekerja
