Abstract

This study aims to determine the main causes of warp-jump defects in gray fabric production at PT XYZ using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). This analysis identified two main causes: decreased machine performance and operator fatigue. The FMEA results indicate that these factors contribute significantly to product defects, with machine performance having the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN). This study suggests that routine machine maintenance and improved workforce management through closer training and supervision are crucial to reducing defects and increasing operational efficiency.

Abstract

Danantara Indonesia is the latest Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) established by the Indonesian government to optimize state assets through strategic investments. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method to analyze Danantara’s sustainable strategy in achieving global competitiveness. The study utilizes the Triple Bottom Line (TBL), VRIO Framework, and PESTEL Analysis to evaluate competitive advantages, external factors, and the balance between social, environmental, and economic aspects. The findings indicate that Danantara possesses sustainable competitive advantages in the form of access to strategic assets and government support, yet still faces challenges in governance, transparency, and global market volatility. External factors such as green investment regulations and urbanization trends create opportunities for Danantara to invest in renewable energy, infrastructure, and public services. To strengthen its position, Danantara must implement investment diversification strategies, optimize governance based on the Santiago Principles, and leverage digital technology for risk management and investment decision-making. By adopting sustainability-oriented strategies, Danantara can evolve into a global player in the investment industry while contributing to national economic development. Additionally, partnerships with international investors serve as a strategic step to accelerate Danantara’s global expansion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of WMS at PT XYZ Branch Bandung-Leuwigajah, a large distribution company in Indonesia, focusing on issues such as discrepancies between system data and physical stock, difficulties in recording product returns, and wasted time in manual stocktaking processes. The research employs a qualitative approach, using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and semi-structured interviews with relevant personnel at the company. The results indicate that the implementation of WMS can reduce errors in stock management and improve operational efficiency, particularly in stocktaking and product return management. Furthermore, the study also identifies challenges in integrating the system with diverse product characteristics and the need for further training to maximize the use of WMS.

Abstract

This study highlights key factors influencing tourists' intention to visit halal tourism destinations in West Java, focusing on the role of perceived behavioral control, perceived value, and perceived comfort and safety. Data collection used a questionnaire developed from previous literature with specific adjustments related to halal tourism. Data were collected from 187 Muslim respondents using an online questionnaire. The results indicate that core resources, attractors, and effective destination management significantly enhance perceived behavioral control and value, which in turn shape tourists' sense of comfort and safety, ultimately influencing their intention to visit. This study highlights the competitive advantage of destinations that prioritize comfort and safety, improve service quality, and increase the likelihood of repeat visits and recommendations. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the destination competitiveness framework, this study deepens our understanding of the motivators driving halal tourism.
