Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the contribution of parent-child attachment on emotion regulation, self-esteem, conformity and student resilience of students. To achieve the goal, the study applied a causal relationship study design. 153 subjects were chosen randomly from public junior high schools in Yogyakarta. The research data were collected using Attachment Scale, Emotion Regulation Scale, Self-Esteem Scale, Conformity Scale and Resilience Scale which had been tested for their validity and reliability. To analyze the data, this study used simple linear regression analysis. The findings showed that attachment has a significant contribution to emotion regulation, self-esteem, conformity and resilience with beta coeficient of 0.691, 0.816, 0.687 and 0.232.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi parent-child attachment terhadap regulasi emosi, harga diri, konformitas dan resiliensi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan causal relationship study. Seratus lima puluh tiga sampel diperoleh secara acak dari SMP Negeri se-Kota Yogyakarta. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan Skala Attachment, Skala Regulasi Emosi, Skala Harga Diri, Skala Konformitas dan Skala Resiliensi yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Regresi sederhana kemudian digunakan untuk menganalisis data tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa attachment memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap regulasi emosi, harga diri, konformitas dan resiliensi dengan koefisien beta sebesar 0,691, 0,816, 0,687 dan 0,232.

Abstract

Abstract: This study seeks to analyze the description of the need for Mode Deactivation Counseling (MDC) as an effort to control adolescent sexual aggressiveness. The research method used literature study and quantitative approach through a survey of 27 inclusive secondary school counselor across several regions in Indonesia. The MDC literature study rested on Mode Deactivation Therapy (MDT), while the survey results were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis techniques by looking at the categorization of school counselors’ answers. The results show that school counselors need an effective way to control adolescent sexual aggressiveness and this can be done through the application of MDC.Abstrak: Penelitian ini berupaya untuk menganalisis deskripsi kebutuhan MDC sebagai upaya untuk mengendalikan agresivitas seksual remaja. Metode penelitian digunakan studi literatur dan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei kepada 27 guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) yang tersebar di beberapa wilayah Indonesia. Studi literatur MDC berpijak pada MDT, sedangkan hasil survei dianalisis melalui teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dengan melihat kategorisasi dari jawaban guru BK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru BK memerlukan suatu cara efektif untuk mengendalikan agresivitas seksual remaja dan hal ini dapat ditempuh melalui penerapan MDC.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the role of proactive personality as a mediator of the relationship between parental support in career and self-efficacy in career decision making in junior high school students. The research sample of 140 people obtained by accidental sampling. The instruments used were Career-Related Parent Support Scale, Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form, and Proactive Personality Scale which had been adapted into Indonesian. The data were analyzed by regression using PROCESS macros suggested by Hayes. The results showed that proactive personality partially mediates the relationship between parental support in career and self-efficacy in career decision making. Further analysis shows that: (1) proactive personality partially mediates the relationship between parental support in the form of instrumental assistance and self-efficacy in career decision making; (2) proactive personality partially mediates the relationship between parental support in the form of career modeling and self-efficacy in career decision making; (3) proactive personality partially mediates the relationship between parental support in the form of emotional support with self-efficacy in career decision making; and; (4) proactive personality fully mediates the relationship between parental support in the form of verbal encouragement with self-efficacy in career decision making. The implications, limitations and suggestions for further research are discussed as follows.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran kepribadian proaktif sebagai mediator hubungan antara dukungan orangtua dalam karier dan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 140 orang yang diperoleh dengan accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Career-Related Parent Support Scale, Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form, dan Proactive Personality Scale yang sudah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Data dianalisis dengan uji regresi menggunakan macro PROCESS oleh Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian proaktif memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara dukungan orangtua dalam karier dan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier. Analisis lanjutan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepribadian proaktif memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara dukungan orangtua yang berupa bantuan instrumental dan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier; (2) kepribadian proaktif memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara dukungan orangtua yang berupa pemodelan karier dan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier; (3) kepribadian proaktif memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara dukungan orangtua yang berupa dukungan emosional dengan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier; dan (4) kepribadian proaktif memediasi secara utuh hubungan antara dukungan orangtua yang berupa dorongan verbal dengan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier. Implikasi, limitasi dan saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya didiskusikan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to interpret peace based on a text entitled Markesot Bertutur Lagi by Emha Ainun Najib. This study used a qualitative approach with hermeneutics procedure. Each interpretation was an attempt to understand the meanings that are still veiled in a text. The data collection techniques in this study were carried out through the documentation of the interpretation of texts and literature studies. The interpretation was carried out in three stages: (1) whole understanding; (2) partial understanding; and (3) understanding of underlying meaning. The data analysis techniques in this study used the formulation of Miles & Huberman which included data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results showed that the peaceful mind based on Markesot Bertutur Lagi was: (1) thinking to forgive the mistakes of others; (2) thinking of finding strength rather than blaming yourself; (3) thinking to regulate self-emotions; and (4) thinking to regulate self-behavior. These four forms of peace of mind should be a reference for the school counselor to be the basis for implementing peace counseling to build peaceful thoughts in students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menafsirkan pikiran damai berdasarkan teks yang berjudul Markesot Bertutur Lagi karya Emha Ainun Najib. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe hermeneutika. Setiap interpretasi adalah usaha untuk memahami makna-makna yang masih terselubung dalam sebuah teks. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui dokumentasi pemaknaan teks dan studi pustaka. Penafsiran dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu: (1) pemahaman keseluruhan (whole); (2) pemahaman bagian (part); dan (3) mendapatkan pemahaman pada yang melandasi makna (understanding of underlying meaning). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumusan dari Miles & Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pikiran damai berdasarkan penuturan Markesot adalah: (1) berpikir untuk memaafkan kesalahan orang lain; (2) berpikir untuk menemukan kekuatan diri daripada menyalahkan diri sendiri; (3) berpikir untuk meregulasi emosi diri; dan (4) berpikir untuk meregulasi perilaku diri. Keempat bentuk pikiran damai ini seyogianya menjadi rujukan konselor sekolah guna menjadi dasar pelaksanaan konseling kedamaian untuk membangun pikiran damai siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: Assessment of Group Counseling Competencies Scale (AGCCS) is one of the questionnaires important to assess group counseling competencies. The objective of this study is to adopt and test the psychometric properties of New Group Counseling Competencies Scale-Short Form (NGCCS-SF). This study used a new instrument adaptation procedure. A total of 73 candidates of group counselors from twoStudy Program of Guidance and Counseling in Indonesia were the participants of this study. The data of group counseling competencies were measured using NGCCS-SF. Operationally, data analysis used Rasch Model 3.75. The results of the study show that NGCCS-SF has satisfying psychometric properties. NGCCS-SF can be used as an effective and valid assessment tool for group counselor candidates in counselor education and supervision in Indonesia.Abstrak: AGCCS menjadi salah satu kuesioner yang penting untuk menilai kompetensi konseling kelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengadaptasi dan menguji properti psikometrik NGCCS-SF. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur adaptasi instrumen baru. Sebanyak 73 calon konselor kelompok dari dua Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling di Indonesia menjadi partisipan penelitian. Data kompetensi konseling kelompok diukur menggunakan NGCCS-SF. Secara operasional, analisis data menggunakan Rasch Model 3.75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa NGCCS-SF memiliki properti psikometrik yang memuaskan. NGCCS-SF dapat menjadi alat asesmen calon konselor kelompok yang efisien dan valid dalam pendidikan dan supervisi konselor di Indonesia.
