Number of vehicle user is increasing in Politeknik Negeri Medan now. The increase is not proportional with road and parking lots availability. As a result of these conditions, campus becomes jammed and crowded. Solution to overcome of this condition is implementing of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). ITS is a smart system for transportation that can give efficiency, comfort and safety for vehicle drivers. One of kind communication in ITS systems is communication between vehicles to infrastructure (V2I). The infrastructure is here as roads and parking lots. To reach the goals, analysis of V2I device performance is needed. V2I device consists of OBU (Onboard Unit), RSU (Roadside Unit) and communication among them using DSRC communication technology. According to power level measurement, height positions of RSU is 6 m and the longest distance RSU toward OBU is 400 m, obtained power is -90,38 dBm. This value is still in device sensitivity of -91,5 dBm. This research is an initiation study as a basis to build integrated ITS system.

The SAW (Simple Additive Weight) method is often also known as the weighted sum method. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find a weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes (Fishburn, 2011), the SAW method requires the decision matrix normalization process (X) to a scale that can be compared with all existing alternative ratings. The SAW method is the most well-known and most widely used method in dealing with a Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) situation. MADM itself is a method used to find optimal alternatives from a number of alternatives with certain criteria.Algortima K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) is a method for classifying objects based on learning data that is the closest distance to the object. K-Nearest Neighbor is based on the concept of 'learning by analogy'. Learning data is described by n-dimensional numeric attributes. Each learning data presents a point, marked with c, in n-dimensional space. Nearest Neighbor algorithm classification method that groups new data into several data / neighbors (neighbors) closest. So by combining the two algorithms will get the results in hiring employees at the company. In studies that have often been conducted on employee recruitment have been found, but in this study is to combine the SAW (Simple Additive Weightinh) method and the existing algorithm in Data Mining, the Nearest Neighbor algorithm. The final result in this study is to see the results of a combination of calculations SAW (Simple Additive Weight) with the Nearest Neighbor algorithm, the final results seen are the results of the work process in the calculation of the two methods. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya pengaruh motivasi karyawan terhadap produktivitas di CV. Pelita Mas yang berada di Tambun Nabolon, Pematangsiantar. Produktivitas yang tinggi merupakan suatu keunggulan kompetitif dari sebuah usaha. Produktivitas yang tinggi akan tercapai bila terdapat motivasi yang tinggi dari sumber daya manusianya. Motivasi ini akan tercermin dari etos kerja dan itu akan mempengaruhi produktivitas perusahaan itu sendiri.Metode pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 55 orang responden, yang berasal dari karyawan CV. Pelita Mas. Data yang diperoleh dari 55 orang reponden tersebut dianalisa menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana, untuk melihat pengaruh Motivasi terhadap Produktivitas karyawan CV. Pelita Mas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Motivasi berpengaruh Positif dan signifikan terhadap Produktivitas dengan total pengaruh sebesar 11,8 %. The development of information technology (IT) has become a necessity.All levels of society such as companies, institutions and agencies are moved to move forward and use it, including in activities related to administration. One of the activities which is closely related to administration is the management of archives (letters). PT. PGNMAS still uses manual methods in managing its letter data. Therefore, this study aims to assist the work of employees through the design of a system that can include work from conceptualization, recording and archiving of letters. A system that can archive incoming and outgoing mail effectively and efficiently. This design uses the waterfall model and Adobe Dreamweaver 8 software. The design of this information system is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this company so that the system runs more effectively and efficiently and the archiving system is now more conducive compared to the previous system.

Keamanan adalah salah satu kebutuhan penting dari suatu data, atau informasi. Dengan hal ini pentingnya informasi atau data tersebut oleh pihak atau orang yang berkepentingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem untuk keamanan data akta jual beli yang dapat membantu pihak Notaris/PPAT. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan metode RC4 (Rivest Code 4) yang merupakan algoritma kriptografi kunci simetris dan bersifat stream cipher, terdapat prosesenkripsidan dekripsi. Adapun enkripsi merupakan proses penyandian pesan asli atau plainteks menjadi teks tersandi cipherteks. Sedangkan dekripsi ialah proses penyandian kembali terhadap cipherteks menjadi plainteks (data asli). Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu sistem yang mampu merubah data yang dapat dibaca menjadi data yang tidak mudah dimengerti.

Seawater flood early warning system serves to inform the public of the occurrence of flood events caused by rising sea water. With an early prevention system, the occurrence of sea water floods can reduce the impact or loss caused by tidal floods. This research aims to make a prototype of an early warning system for tidal flooding. Arduino-based systems use ultrasonic sensors to measure sea water levels. The system is also equipped with a buzzer that serves as an alarm to inform the public of a tidal flood. In addition, an early warning for tidal floods will also be delivered to the public through the SMS (Short Message Service) communication media. From the results of the discussion it was found that the early warning system for seawater flooding using two ultrasonic sensors through the SMS communication media works well. The ultrasonic sensor used is able to measure the height (level) of the water surface from 5 cm to 60 cm. The average percentage of measurement error for the first ultrasonic sensor is 1.125% and for the second ultrasonic sensor is 1.515%. The average percentage of measurement error for both sensors is 1.32%. The level of accuracy of system in measuring the height (level) of the water surface is 98.68%.

Forwarding companies must have advantages in logistics and distribution of goods, such as speed and accuracy in the delivery of goods. At this time PT Almana Kartika Utama Jakarta does not have a good shipping data recording and processing system and does not yet have an information system to customers, so customers have to ask manually to find out the status of his belongings, this is considered to be very inefficient and ineffective so it makes information to customers very slow. Therefore, researchers need to build a program design for a web-based cargo information system, to get the best solution in solving the problem, so that effective and efficient shipping of goods is achieved at PT. Almana Kartika Utama.

Tanah memiliki kandungan unsur kimia, fisika maupun biologi. Setiap tanaman memiliki type tanah yang bisa dia tumbuh dengan baik. Contohnya tanaman padi, padi akan tumbuh dengan baik juka Kebutuhan N optimum : 300kg/ha Urea, P optimum : 50 kg/ha SP36, K optimum : 50 kg/ha KCl Untuk itu perlu seorang petani untuk mengetahui unsur tersebut sebelum menanam tanaman. Mengacu pada hal itu membuat penulis mengambil tema hal tersebut dengan judul Pengembangan Perangkat Cerdas Untuk Deteksi Unsur Kandungan Tanah Dalam Menentukan Jenis Tanaman Mendukung Ketahanan Pangan. Diagnosis terhadap kandungan tanah dapat lebih jelas dengan menggunakan uji laboratorium dilanjut ke uji sensor Warna, Bau, dan Suhu untuk menentukan warna,bau dan suhu dari tiap kandungan unsur tanah yang di uji di laboratorium yang diproses dengan ilmu pengolahan citra. Setelah itu akan dirancang sembuah algoritma untuk mengkolaborasikan hasil ketiga sensor tesebut agar menjadi sebuat keputusan. Fitur spesifik yang telah diperoleh dapat dijadikan data pokok pada data mining sehingga nantinya sistem mampu menentukan jenis tanaman. Sehingga risiko kesalahan penentuan jenis tanaman diminimalisasi karena dapat ditentukan secara akurat berdasarkan fitur-fitur spesifik dari tanah yang diperoleh dengan bantuan komputer.

The learning model currently applied at the South Aceh Polytechnic is conventional. Students only listen to the lecturers’ presentation and thus they easily get bored, tired and declining learning motivation. This due to the lack of transfer knowledge experienced by students, resulted in students being unable to grasp the material presented by lecturers whilst some students assigned lower achiever. This study aims to develop a web-based learning media application at the South Aceh Polytechnic. Web-based learning media developed with MySQL and PHP programming languages. The research method used is the waterfall research method combined with observation and interviews. The collected data is then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study that delivering lesson through website-based learning media can improve students' performance in a typical courses.

The vendor registration process at PT Badak NGL is still in a manual form, so that it is considered to be less relevant, at the time of vendor registration there is a process of determining the risk classification of the fields determined through the K3L2M questionnaire (Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Protection and Quality) or CSMS Questionnaire (Contractor Safety Health Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Management Evaluation System). In line with the development of technology to improve the quality of the company, the researcher conducted a study with the title Decision Support System Vendor Registration Selection Using WebBased SMART Method (Case Study of PT Badak NGL). In designing this system, the system uses SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method and the development of a structured system applies SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) using the waterfall model with the PHP programming language and the My SQL database. The results show vendor selection based on the classification of risk fields, all test using Black Box function properly. Keywords :waterfall, SMART, method, vendor
