The Covid-19 pandemic is an unexpected challenge for society. Family resilience is at stake but not the responsibility of men as the head of the family alone. Women during pandemics actually have a very big role to help maintain the integrity of the family both physically, spiritually, and economically. Women get dual roles not only focusing on domestic affairs but instead out of their "nest" to help the husband keep the kitchen smoke burning. For this reason, creativity and innovation enable women to be able to face the challenges and problems that arise as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. This paper explains the role of women who entrepreneurship make handicrafts with unique character in order to have economic value while helping the government in the socialization of health protokols. Data is obtained through library searching, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the economic success of the family is not only determined by men. Women who are creative by developing talent are able to maintain the economy of the family and society. This has been done by the women of Sepat Village, Masaran District of Sragen Regency who are able to sell their handicrafts abroad. Abstract

This article will explain the role and involvement of women which is very important in the world of politics, considering that all policies and decisions related to public issues are determined in the political sphere, especially the legislature. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to analyze and describe the political role of women. The results showed that the members of the PDIP faction in the DPRD Nias Selatan could not represent the aspirations of the community, especially in fighting for the rights of women in the DPRD Kabupaten Nias Selatan. This is influenced by several factors, first, the number of female DPRD members is still low and limited. Second, the community in conveying their aspirations is more on infrastructure development than on gender issues. Third, the lack of support given to women DPRD members by other DPRD members. Fourth, the ability and knowledge of women DPRD members is still limited and not confident

Abstract

This study will explain the participation of women in a village infrastructure development planning consultation (musrembang) in Sagulubbek Village, Southwest Siberut District, Mentawai Islands Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with data collection techniques through virtual in-depth interviews and literature studies. Women's participation is involvement in a political activity, organization, or about musrembang which involves the community, especially women, where there needs to be an increase involvement in village infrastructure musrembang. The results of this study indicate that women do not participate in development planning activities, due to lack of knowledge, experience and understanding in such a deliberation so that women do not participate. In addition, there is minimal education, such as non-formal education from the village government, as well as socialization about the infrastructure development planning process itself. In addition, in participating in the infrastructure musrembang, women are less likely to give their aspirations and opinions in the infrastructure musrembang process. In this case, there is a village government strategy, such as giving authority to each hamlet head to submit information and socialization regarding the village infrastructure development consultation that has been carried out in the infrastructure development development plan of the Sagulubbek village. In addition, the BPD formed a Special Community Empowerment Institute organization for women to participate in illiterate literacy activities, apart from these activities, women also participated in vegetable planting activities as well as cultivating and producing coconut oil for sale.

Abstract

The fulfillment of women's political representation in the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Bogor Regency is still an unresolved problem. This is due to the fact that the quota for women's seats has never been fulfilled as mandated by the Law on General Elections. The obstacles that make it difficult to fulfill the 30 percent quota for women's political representation in the Bogor Regency DPRD are also various. One of them, because women do not control the political structure and live in a patriarchal society. This has prevented women from taking part in politics and taking part in policy making. This study raises the issue of the factors causing the minimal number of women in the Bogor Regency legislature for the 2014-2019 and 2019-2024 periods. Using qualitative research methods, the focus of this research lies on the minimal number of women in the Bogor Regency DPRD and their function in making policy for women. Data collection techniques used in this research, namely observation and interviews. The results of the study show that the political representation of women in the legislature is still very low in quantity. This is evidenced by the fact that for two periods, the number of members of the Bogor Regency DPRD was never more than five people, while the number of male representatives was almost 95 percent of the total 55 seats. This condition makes many women's problems have not been accommodated properly. In fact, during these two periods, the DPRD and the Bogor Regency government only produced two Regional Regulations that accommodated the interests of women
