The grow-out phase in tilapia culture (Oreochromis niloticus) is a vital business segmentation because it is the final supply chain for fish at consumption size for the general market. This study aims to analyze the managerial aspect, and business profitability in tilapia grow-out culture at the Iwa-ke Oishi Fish Factory in Bogor, West Java. The experiment collected primary data (water quality measurement) and secondary data (interview). The tilapia grow-out culture was done by six farmers who were responsible for happas and ponds that they managed. The results showed that managerial aspects include work units, each of which has a specific role, for example, aquapartners responsible for fish culture activities and investors who provide venture capital. The two roles were linked through a profit-sharing scheme with Fish Factory Iwa-ke Oishi as the collaboration coordinator. Tilapia cultured had good growth performance, as seen from a high survival rate (70.0-82.8%), supported by good water quality with low concentrations of nitrite and nitrite during the culture period (1.5 mg/day). L and 0 mg/L, respectively). Financially, this activity was profitable and promising (payback period of 0.9 years). However, the profit margin could be improved by reducing the variable costs, such as utilizing natural biota as additional feed for tilapia to decrease the feeding cost.

The currently aquaculture have prospects that good is fish cultivation and influenced by thecnical factor and non-thecnical that determine as a requiement for cultivation business. The technical factor thar direct to influenced or failed towards cultivaation technical activity such as water quality. If there is a decrease in water quality can caused by inclusion of heavy metals to waters. The monitoring of water quality that carried out in UPTD BBIAT Waiheru only limited on physical parameters, while monitoring towards chemical parameters such as heavy metal content not done, so that not obtained an overall water quality information. For that researched needs to be done which aims to formulated direction of management water quality at UPTD BBIAT Waiheru. Ths researched by done on months October 2019 -Ferbuary 2020, at UPTD BBIAT Waiheru. Water sampling used purposive sampling and descriptive analysa. Kampung Perikanan Desa Patra Tani is located in Muara Enim Regency, precisely in Muara Belida district, a location that was once a place for aquaculture but the lack of care and management in that location has now become neglected. The objective of this research is to analyze the feasibility of land and make a master plan in Kampung Perikanan Desa Patra Tani, Muara Enim, South Sumatra as a location for aquaculture. Field observation activities include indirect (in situ) and direct (ex situ) water quality measurements at five observation stations, soil sampling, mapping using GPS, and market availability surveys. The results of data analysis on water quality using the scoring method show that in Kampung Perikanan Desa Patra Tani tends to be in the S2 class (moderately suitable) meaning that it has a few limiting factors in the waters so that several treatments are needed before cultivating. One of the commodities that are suitable for cultivation is tilapia because of high market demand is suitable to fill the shortage.

This research is about "Growth Rate and Survival Rate of Baronang Siganus canaliculatus Fish Given Different Types of Feed and Frequency in the Floating Net Cages. The research lasted as long as for 6 (six) months from May to October 2018.The design of this study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using 2 factors as treatment, namely: (1) 50% of the trash fish, 50% papaya leaves, and 25% trash fish & 75% papaya leaves. (2) the frequency of feeding once, the frequency of feeding 2 times and the frequency of feeding 3 times. This treatment is to see whether there is a significant difference between the treatment of growth rate and survival rate of baronang fish (Siganus canaliculatus) as the research sample. From the research data analyzed using ANOVA, it was found that the type of feed and the frequency of distribution had a significant effect on the growth rate. Based on statistics, the results of this study showed no significant effect between treatments on growth, survival and FCR. Feeding with a composition of 50% trash fish and 50% papaya leaves with a frequency of 3 times gave the highest growth rate, survival and FCR values for rabbit fish (Siganus canaliculatus) rearing for 120 days in Floating Net Cages

The administration of chromium picolinate (Cr-Pic) is expected to positively influence the growth of eel (Anguilla bicolor) and the expression of the growth related gene. The purpose of this research was to study the effect of chromium picolinate (Cr-Pic) on the growth performance and expression of growth hormone encoding gene of eel (Anguilla bicolor), a species of fish that is in the process of domestication. The experiment consisted of four treatments: without Cr-Pic (P0), with Cr-Pic of 1 mg / kg of feed (P1), 2 mg / kg of feed (P2), and 3 mg / kg of feed (P3). Eel growth performance was analyzed based on absolute and daily growth rates. Observation of the level of growth hormone (GH) gene expression was performed using real-time RT-PCR method. The results showed that administration of Cr-Pic did not significantly increase eel growth rate. The expression level of growth hormone genes in eel fed 2 and 3 mg Cr-Pic / kg was higher than the expression level of this gene in eel fed without Cr-Pic. The results showed that the level of growth hormone expression did not appear to be related to growth rate of the eel.

The production of betok fish has experienced overfishing and resulted in a decrease in productivity, therefore one of the efforts made to help success in spawning betok fish can be done by stimulating factors related to the reproductive system, namely by stimulating the work of hormones in stimulating gonadal maturation in artificial spawning with hypophysation method. This study aims to look at the response of goat pituitary extract to the fecundity of betok fish (A. testudineus, Bloch). This research was conducted for 30 days, using 4 treatments with 3 replications, with details of treatment P0: Control, treatment P1: Goat Pituitary Extract 0.05 ml/kg, Treatment P2: Goat Pituitary Extract 0.2 ml/kg, and treatment P3 : Goat Pituitary Extract 0.35 ml/kg. The results of the study using the best goat pituitary extract in the P2 treatment (0.2 ml/kg Goat Pituitary Extract) produced the highest fecundity, namely 8349 eggs produced. The results of water quality measurements showed that the pH value was 7.6 – 7.7. water temperature is 270C – 300C, dissolved oxygen (DO) is 2.9 – 4.4 mg/L. and the content of ammonia (NH3) during the study was 0.012 – 0.013 mg/L.
