Abstract

The Covid19 case dated 11 November 2021 recorded that the human population died from Covid19 (143,595 people) with confirmed cases (4,249,323 cases) and active cases (9,537 cases). Based on these data, it can be concluded that Covid-19 is an acute and deadly disease. In addition to deaths, due to Covid-19, namely the increase in divorce cases, decreased income in the economy and tourism. In this study, the author made a mathematical modeling of Covid19 type as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid19. In the modeling there are human populations susceptible to Covid19 , human populations have been vaccinated , human populations have not been vaccinated , human populations are exposed , human populations are infected with Covid19 , and human populations recovered from Covid19 . The research objectives are 1) to build a mathematical model of Covid19, 2) to determine the fixed point and basic reproduction numbers, and 3) to analyze the stability of the fixed point. This type of research includes applied science research. The research procedure is 1) observing real phenomena, 2) searching literature, 3) determining variables, parameters, and assumptions in mathematical modeling, 4) building a mathematical model of Covid19, 5) analyzing the Covid19 mathematical model in the form of fixed points, basic reproduction numbers, and fixed point stability. The results of the analysis 1) the mathematical model type has a fixed point without disease and an endemic fixed point, 2) a fixed point without disease is stable for the condition, and the endemic fixed point is stable for the condition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of lecturer interpersonal communication on student learning motivation at STIMI Meulaboh. The dependent variable in this study is the student's learning motivation while the independent variable is the lecturer's interpersonal communication. The research method used in this study is to use multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, the value of sig < 0.05 in other words H0 accepted, meaning that interpersonal communication between lecturers (openness, empathy, and support) had an effect on student learning motivation in the economic statistics course II at STIMI Meulaboh.

Abstract

PT. Socfindo is an industry engaged in the processing of Fresh Palm Fruit Bunches into crude palm oil or CPO (Crude Palm Oil). the day in the morning, therefore it is necessary to identify the presence of machine components that are prone to damage (critical components) and special actions are needed to take special actions against critical parts on the machine, by practicing the Predictive Maintenance Program or prevention. Simulation techniques, often known as Monte Carlo simulations, estimate reliability using random sampling of scenarios. Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) is defined as a process used to determine the actions that should be taken to ensure that each physical item or system can run properly according to the intended use by the user. Based on the information obtained, the RPN value of the Rubber Coupling Bush is 18, the RPN value of the Worm Screw is 126, the RPN value of the Press Cage is 72, the Adjusting Cone RPN value is 108, the Tie Rod Nut RPN value is 15, the Drive Shaft RPN value is 168, the Bearing RPN value is 12, the Motor Base RPN value is 15.

Abstract

Aquaculture is an important sector for providing a food source. Technology may help the development of aquaculture including in the design of the fluid flow condition beneficial for aquaculture tank design and its operational parameters. In this study, the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to provide local fluid flow information was demonstrated. In the first case, the fluid flow condition generated by two different inlet orientations, namely the straight inlet and the angled inlet was investigated. The significant difference in the fluid flow pattern was observed by the help of the velocity streamlines. In the second case, the transient CFD simulation was used to determine the transient temperature distribution for the two different inlet orientations. The result also shows the significant different in the distribution which closely related to the generated fluid flow by both inlet orientations.

Abstract

The area and production of oil palm in West Aceh continues to experience a significant increase, because along with the expansion of oil palm plantations in the local area, it is very influential on employment and improving the economy of the community. This study aims to group the results of oil palm production and planted area by applying the data mining technique method with the K-Means Clustering algorithm. The data used in this study in the form of area and palm oil production results were obtained from the West Aceh catalog (BAPPEDA) and the Central Statistics Agency from 2005 to 2020 in 12 sub-districts of West Aceh Regency. The results of the study showed that the high cluster (cluster 1) contained 1 sub-district, namely Kaway XVI, the medium cluster (cluster 0) there were 7 sub-districts namely Bubon, Johan Pahlawan, Panten Reu, Samatiga, Sungai Mas, Woyla Barat, and Woyla Barat, while the cluster low (cluster 2), there are 4 sub-districts, namely Arongan Lambalek, Meureubo, Pante Ceureumen, and Woyla.

Abstract

Determination of a single tuition appropriately is important to ensure that every student gets a fair single tuition in accordance with their economic conditions. The single tuition team to determine a single tuition sometimes they have differences of opinion in determining a single tuition so that it requires a relatively long time. This problem can be solved by applying Simple Additive Weighting to student data. The collected data is formed into Data1 and Data 2. There is a value of 0 for the cost attribute so that it requires normalization which can solve the problem. The results of the application of Simple Additive Weighting facilitate the determination of a single tuition because by entering student data a preference value is generated as a reference for determining a single tuition. Application in Data 1 produces several similarities in preference values but is in different groups, but the application of Data 2 always results in different preference values. This difference shows that the application of Simple Additive Weighting to Data 2 is better than the application of Data 1.
