Abstract

financial reports issued by the finance department Problems that often occur at PT. Suka Maju is the whereabouts of fixed assets that are unknown, whether they are still in the warehouse or have been moved to another outlet/center. This is because sometimes the company opens a new branch or the head of the outlet needs fixed assets, then HR/GA moves the fixed assets from the warehouse to the outlet. Without communicating/reporting with central management so that central management does not know the position of the fixed assets. This results in central management not knowing the position of these assets and fixed asset reports not being in accordance with actual conditions. The main objective of this research is to design and develop a system that can manage company fixed assets effectively and efficiently by utilizing web technology. This system is expected to be able to increase accuracy and speed in the process of recording, tracking and managing fixed assets at PT Suka Maju. The research methodology used includes the needs analysis, system design, development and testing stages. At the needs analysis stage, interviews and observations were conducted to identify the needs and problems faced in managing fixed assets in the company. The results of this analysis become the basis for system design which includes database design, user interface, and system functionality. The research results show that this web-based fixed asset management system is able to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of asset management at PT Suka Maju. System users report improvements in the speed of access to information, accuracy of asset data, and ease of reporting and auditing assets. Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a crucial staple food, particularly in Indonesia, one of the largest rice-producing countries. Proper storage of rice grains is essential to maintain their quality and quantity. This research aims to develop a smart rice grain storage prototype based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that can monitor temperature, humidity, and light intensity in real-time. The method used is Design-Based Research (DBR), involving six stages: focus, understanding, definition, conception, creation, and testing. The prototype utilizes DHT22 sensors for temperature and humidity, LDR sensors for light intensity, and soil moisture sensors, all integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller. Data collected from the sensors are sent to a cloud-based platform for analysis and early warnings if storage conditions are unsuitable. The results indicate that the prototype effectively monitors storage conditions and provides accurate data. System testing shows that all components function according to specifications. This prototype helps maintain grain quality and reduce damage risk during storage. The use of IoT in grain storage enhances efficiency and reduces farmers' costs. Future research should focus on developing more advanced prototypes with automatic control features and mobile application integration.

Abstract

Continuou Settling Tank (CST) is one of the units located at the clarification station where the CST works to separate oil and mud based on differences in specific gravity where the lighter density will go up, namely oil, while the heavy type will settle to the bottom, namely mud. The language here is how to make the construction of the agitator transmission in the Continuou Settling Tank (CST) unit and how the agitator blade influences the oil content contained in the sludge in the Continuou Settling Tank (CST) unit. The method is carried out with variations in the number of blades that open 2, 4 and 6 pieces. The specifications of the equipment data obtained are primary data resulting from the design of the Continuou Settling Tank (CST) tool. Based on the blade obtained two results the percentage of oil content of 10.85%. This shows that there is still oil content in the mud. Likewise, the blade that found four pieces was 8.678%. While on the blade that got six pieces, the average percentage of oil was 7.652%. This shows that the blades that have been opened six pieces have met the desired percentage of oil standards.

Abstract

Breast cancer ranks first in terms of the highest number of cancers in Indonesia and is one of the first contributors to cancer deaths. According to IARC, radiotherapy is one of the most important modalities in the treatment of breast cancer. Radiotherapy is a type of treatment that uses ionizing radiation to kill cancer cells without damaging surrounding healthy tissue. To obtain an even or homogeneous dose distribution on an uneven skin surface, a wedge is used so that the radiation given to the tumor area is truly optimal and the surrounding healthy tissue receives a minimum dose. This research was carried out by evaluating the Planning Target Volume (PTV) value based on ICRU-83 and dose distribution in Organs at Risk (OAR) based on QUANTEC standards at four different wedge angles, namely 15°, 30°, 45°, and 60°, used the 3D-CRT technique of tangential radiation with a dose of 50 Gy in 25 fractions on 5 left-sided breast cancer patients. The research results showed that the average Homogeneity Index (HI) values for the 15°, 30°, 45° and 60° wedges were 0.286, 0.346, 0.436 and 0.578, respectively. In the left and right lung dose distribution, the results obtained for the 15°, 30°, 45°, and 60° wedge were respectively 2231.4 and 116.2 cGy, 2257.8 and 114.6 cGy, 2141 and 100 cGy, and 2059.4 and 88.8 cGy. For the average dose distribution to the heart, the values obtained at the 15°, 30°, 45°, and 60° wedges were 2005.6 cGy, 2040.4 cGy, 1930.6 cGy, and 1844.4 cGy, respectively. where the average dose received by OAR is still below the limit allowed by QUANTEC. Using a wedge angle of 15° provides a homogeneous dose distribution for the PTV and a wedge angle of 60° provides the lowest dose distribution for the OAR.

Abstract

The application of composites is widely used in the automotive field. HDPE, a versatile polymer, is frequently employed as a composite matrix, combining with other materials to produce unique mechanical properties and characteristics. Its widespread application in the automotive sector includes the manufacturing of bumpers and car interiors, where its distinct properties enhance the overall performance and functionality of these components. Corn husk fiber waste is a natural material that has not been utilized properly, so the use of corn husk fiber as reinforcement in composites is an alternative to waste problems in the environment. Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3) as a filler with another name alumina, possesses strong tensile strength and thermal stability, and it is anticipated to lower production costs while enhancing composites' mechanical qualities. Maleic anhydride (MAH), a coupling agent, is applied to the matrix, reinforcement, and filler to increase their adherence. The manufacture of HDPE matrix composite with the addition of corn husk fiber and MAH is expected to improve the mechanical properties of the composite. The composition of HDPE: corn husk fiber (%wt) is 90:0, 85:5, and 80:10, as well as the composition of 5%wt alumina and 5%wt MAH in each sample. Making composite pellets using a compounder, making composite sheets by hot press method using a manual forming machine. Tensile strength and hardness measurements were taken to evaluate material performance. Tensile strength testing was carried out using a Universal Testing Machine (UTM), crystallinity testing using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and testing using Near-Infrared (NIR). The tensile strength test results obtained the highest tensile strength value in the composition of HDPE: corn husk fiber 90: 0%wt of 17.67 MPa. The crystallinity test results obtained the highest degree of crystallinity in the composition of HDPE: corn husk fiber 90: 0%wt of 67.88%. The incorporation of corn husk fibers into the composite material significantly affects its mechanical properties, particularly the tensile strength and crystallinity, with higher fiber content leading to a notable reduction in these properties. SEM testing was also carried out to determine the morphological shape of the composite.

Abstract

Radiotherapy planning can be done with 3D Conformal Radiotherapy (3DCRT) and Half Beam. The success of radiotherapy planning is considered by comparing the isodose curve, Dose Volume Histogram (DVH), Organs At Risk (OAR), Homogeneity Index (HI), and Conformity Index (CI) obtained by the 3DCRT and Half Beam techniques. This study used data from 5 patients at the Radiotherapy Installation at A.W. Hospital. Sjahranie Samarinda with radiation planning of 5000 cGy (25×2 Gy) for breast cancer. The two radiation plans used gantry angles of 310˚ and 120˚. The calculated dose distribution value can be seen through the 90%, 95% PTV dose, and OAR absorbed dose. PTV doses of 90% and 95% in the 3DCRT technique covered the target well. The radiation dose values of the 3DCRT technique at PTV 90% were around 4860 cGy – 4930 cGy and PTV 95% were around 4750 cGy – 4840 cGy. Meanwhile, the Half Beam technique could not cover the target well. It was because the radiation dose values received by the Half Beam technique at 90% PTV were around 780 cGy – 4860 cGy and 95% PTV were around 2210 cGy – 5020 cGy. The OAR absorbed doses values for the 3DCRT and Half Beam techniques were still within the safe limits of tolerance according to QUANTEC. Meanwhile, the HI and CI values in the 3DCRT technique were closer to the rules of ICRU Report 83 of 2010 compared to the Half Beam technique. Therefore, from the values that have been obtained, the success rate of the radiotherapy planning process after measurements is shown in the 3DCRT technique. It has the value of more efficient dose calculations and can be used as a reference in optimizing dose distribution to patients.

Abstract

PLN Icon Plus is a subsidiary of PLN which runs its business in the telecommunications sector as an internet service provider (ISP) requiring collaboration with vendors in various aspects of work. In order to fulfill work functions quickly and precisely and efficiently in the costs incurred, selection is required, so that the results of the work and the costs incurred can reach the target. This problem may require the implementation of a system that can help make decisions in the vendor selection process, namely a decision support system (DSS) with the Weighted Product (WP) method. WP is a popular multi-criteria analysis decision and this method is also based on computational complexity that is not too difficult so the time required to produce calculations is relatively short. The results of this research were obtained from calculating several criteria factors such as legality of PT, Evidence of Technical Qualifications, Unit Specifications, Price and Track Record, resulting in the ranking process within the scope of PT. PLN Icon Plus produces the vector V1 value as the highest value, namely 0.238. This value is an alternative to PT. Sanestri Bangun Jaya (SBJ). The Decision Support System (SPK) which was developed based on a website and has carried out black box testing shows that the system developed has worked well.

Abstract

The discourse of the West Aceh government and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, which aims to develop the Kuala Bubon West Aceh mangrove forest area into an ecotourism site to boost the community's economy, has drawn attention from many parties. This is due to the rich biodiversity present in the mangrove forest. Pre-ecotourism studies need to be conducted to ensure that the use of this forest can be managed properly, including studying potential tourist attractions, analyzing negative impacts, and engineering a sustainable ecotourism management industry. This involves using an industrial engineering approach, which offers an optimal framework for achieving these goals. The research was conducted in the Kuala Bubon mangrove forest, West Aceh, in July 2024. Survey techniques and direct observation were used to gather data on the ecotourism potential in the Kuala Bubon mangrove forest. This potential data will be mapped using Quantum GIS and then analyzed to assess the potential and impact of environmental damage as part of ecotourism and the ecosystem. The impact of the damage will then be addressed with alternative industrial engineering solutions, creating an effective management design using AutoCAD. The research results identified five ecotourism attraction points: sunset observation ecotourism, flora & fauna exploration, fishing, duck games, and shellfish searching. Based on this potential, a negative impact analysis and industrial engineering of the ecotourism area will be conducted, focusing on three aspects: infrastructure, waste management, and the utilization of renewable energy.Type your abstract here.
