Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the production’s efficiency of chilli in East Lampung Regency (2)determine the factors influencing the technical efficiency of chilli farm in East Lampung Regency,and (3) determine the amount of chilli farming income in East Lampung Regency. The research locatedin East Lampung Regency by selecting purposively two village namely Kibang and Margototo. Farmerssample were done randomly by using sample random sampling method, with a total sample are 60chilii’s farmers. Data collection did on April till May 2013. The analysis that was used in this researchis descriptive and quantitative analysis. The First purpose was answered by using frontier productionfunction, the second purpose using multiple linear regressing analysis and the third purpose wasanswered by using income analysis.The results showed that (1) chilli farming in East LampungRegency was not technically efficient, technical efficiency of farming in East Lampung Regency was81,01 %, (2) the factors that influence significantly in technical efficiency of chilli farm in EastLampung Regency was scale farming, income, and risk.(3) farm chilli in East Lampung Regency wasa profitable farming because it has a value of R/C more than one that is aqual to 2,78 with income Rp54.674.270,53/ha.Key words: chilli farming, frontier production functio, technical efficiency

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze: the  level  of  costumers satisfaction and costumers loyalty to the packaged liquid milk products of KPBS.  The research was conducted in the largest distributors that supply liquid milk in KPBS packaging to costumers, at Pasundan street 165, Bandung.  The number of respondents in this study are 100 respondents.  The method of analysis used in this study are Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and pyramid loyalty.  The results showed that the level of costumers satisfaction to the packaged liquid milk products of KPBS based on the analysis CSI was 78.8%, meant that overall costumers felt “satisfied”. Based on the IPA, the costumers evaluated that promotion attributes, attractive packaging design, nutritional value, and content of performance of pakaged milk were needed to be improved. The level of costumers loyalty in the packaged liquid dairy products based on the analysis pyramid of KPBS loyalty was mostly not loyal costumers, because the number of committed buyer was smaller than the number of switcher buyer. Abstract

This research aims to analyze: the respondent characteristiccs of fresh fruit juice consumers in Bandar Lampung; the effect of marketing mix including product, price, place, and promotion of consumer’s decision making on buying fresh fruit juice in Bandar Lampung; the social, personal and psychological factors of the consumer on the purchase of fresh fruit juice in Bandar Lampung; and the dominant factors in the marketing mix and consumer behavior on the decision to purchase fresh fruit juice in Bandar Lampung.  This research was conducted at Zainal Pagar Alam Street, Purnawirawan Street, and Pramuka Street in Bandar Lampung.  The research samples of 105 college students were chosen on purpose when they bought fresh fruit juice during January 2013 until February 2013. SEM analysis used to answer the research aims and the Correlation of Rank Spearman test was used to determine the relationship between variables. The results of the research showed that most of the consumers were female collage students and most of them was 21 years old. The latent variables of marketing mix that significantly affected on the fruit juice purchase were product and price variables.  The personal and social factors significantly effected the purchase decision of fruit juice in Bandar Lampung. The product variable was the most dominant variable affected on consumer decision making of fresh fruit juice purchase. Key words: consumer behavior, fresh fruit juice, marketing mix, SEM

Abstract

This research aims to investigate: (1) the role of extension worker as a dynamisator in the technology guiding of SL-PTT (the field school of integrated plant management) for inhybrida rice plant; (2) the application of PTT (of integrated plant management) technology for inhybrida rice plant; (3) the correlation between the role of extension worker as a dynamisator and the application of PTT technology for inhybrida rice plant. This research was conducted on January to February 2013 in Tegal Yoso Village Purbolinggo District Lampung Timur Regency by using census method which is consist of 52 respondens. The research method was survey method.  The correlation between variables were tested by Rank Spearman Analysis. The results showed that (1) the role of extension worker as a dynamisator in the technology guiding of SL-PTT for inhybrida rice plant was in high cathegory, (2) the application of PTT technology for inhybrida rice plant was in midle cathegory; (3) there are a real correlation between the role of extension worker as a dynamisator and the application of PTT technology for inhybrida rice plant.   Key words: extension worker, inhibrida rice, role

Abstract

The research goals were to discover the level of food security and the factors that influenced the level of household food security of coffee farmers in West Lampung Regency.  The research was conducted at Sekincau and Way Tenong Sub district for those sub districts are centers of coffee production and food-prone subdistricts in West Lampung Regency.  By equal consideration, from each district were selected 2 villages: villages of Giham Sukamaju and Sekincau in Sekincau Subdistrict, while for Way tenong Subdistrict was selected villages of Tanjung Raya and Mutar Alam.  The research used household survey in 53 coffee farmers who were chosen by simple random sampling.  Cross-classification between expenditures and the share of household energy adequacy level developed was used to answer the first goal.  Ordinal logistic model was used to answer the second goal.  The results showed that the coffee farmer households who achieved the level of  food security as withstand was 15.09%, as less was 11.32%, as vulnerable was 62.26%, and the level of food insecurity was 11.32%.  Based on the test results obtained by ordinal logistic, the household food security was positively affected by household income and negatively by the price of rice. Abstract

This research aims to study: the pattern of cassava’s consumption and its products, the factors that affect cassava’s consumption and its products, and the contribution of cassava’s consumption and its products to Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) in Bandar Lampung.  The research was conducted in Bakung and Sukarame II, Western District of Teluk Betung by survey method. Seventy seven respondents of housewife were chosen by a simple random sampling method.  The cassava’s consumption pattern was determined by the amount, products, frequency, and sources of the cassava. The results showed that the average consumption of cassava and its products in Bandar Lampung was 387.63 kcal per capita per day. The most widely consumed of cassavas’s product was boiled cassava, chips were the most often consumed product in which frequency consumption were 1-2 times per week. The sources of cassava were from stalls around the houses, fields of its own, and given by other people. The factors that influenced the energy consumption of cassava and its products were household income, household members and the environment. The energy contribution of cassava and its products was 4.59 % of the RDA. Key words: cassava, consumption contribution, consumption pattern, household, RDA
