Abstract

Roads are the most important aspect for the sustainability of distribution and economy, therefore it is necessary to have a review carried out so that the road remains in good condition for use. Many roads are still damaged, one of which is the Teuku Umar – Dr Wahidin Sudirohusodo road. Therefore, visual observations will be made by referring to the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. From the observation process, the types of damage that occurred were Cracking, Patholes, Raveling, Patching, Polished Aggregators, Rutting, Depression, and Bleeding. Where the damage rate refers to the PCI method of 38.6 and is dominated by cracking damage of 43.56% so that the repair method that can be taken is crack filling.

Abstract

The road is an object that can help humans in their lives. One example is that roads can be a link between one place and another, no wonder there are often road damages due to excessive vehicle loads. To overcome it all, it is necessary to have an accurate maintenance to make the road can be used according to the age of the plan. One of the roads that suffered damage wasTeuku Umar Road Tuban, where on this road there were several damages at several points so that the driver had to be more careful to cross this road

Abstract

High-strength concrete is concrete with special characteristics that ordinary concrete does not have. High-strength concrete can be defined as concrete with one or more characteristics, such as small shrinkage, low permeability, high elastic modulus, or high compressive strength. Silica Fume (SF) is used as an additive material in concrete mixtures. Silica fume is a waste product of silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloy and have a silica content (SiO2) that is very high at 93.09%. In this research, an analysis of the use of silica fume as a cement additive for high-strength concrete will be carried out with variations in silica fume of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%. With a mixture of added material in the form of a superplasticizer (Consol SS-74) with a percentage of 0.4%. From the results of the research conducted, the highest compressive strength of concrete value is obtained at a percentage of 5% both at the age of 7, 14, and 28 days in a row the value is 43.4 Mpa, 46.3 Mpa, and 55.8 Mpa.

Abstract

Natural disasters and unprecedented explosions provide experience in preparing for, responding to and mitigating their impact on society. Well-managed refugee quarantine and hospitalization in crisis areas greatly reduces the impact on the community and the region itself. However, management and impact reduction must not stop after a disaster or explosion occurs, but sometimes requires a continuous recovery system program, especially in the economic field. The purpose of this research is to create a model of a quarantine house for evacuees after a disaster or epidemic response. The challenge of this model is to create affordable housing that is quick to build, easy to move, uses durable materials and is livable. In addition, this shelter design can be reused for economic activities such as selling capsules to respond to sustainability programs, especially in the economic field. It is hoped that this research can contribute to designing results that can be easily implemented and replicated for improving welfare during and after a disaster or pandemic.

Abstract

Abstract

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Waste Management Site, abbreviated as TPS-3R according to Government Regulation No. 27 of 2020, is a place where collection, sorting, reuse, and recycling activities are carried out on a regional scale. This TPS-3R design has a size of 20 x 10 meters. Following the regulations stipulated that the TPS-3R must have an area of more than 200 m2. TPS-3R has separate rooms to process the waste that enters the TPS. Seen here is a room that contains a milling machine or chopping machine and organic waste sifter machine. The innovation provided by TPS-3R is the presence of an organic waste shredder and a compost shredder machine. Both of these machines function to speed up composting and can produce large amounts of compost in a short time. The waste shredder is the most appropriate technology for processing organic waste using a diesel engine with a capacity of 500-700 kg/hour. With the compost shredder machine in TPS-3R, it is hoped to speed up the processing time for sifting the compost material. Accurate cost planning calculates the volume of work, the prices of various materials, and work on a building or project based on actual data.

Abstract

A survey was conducted of 12 boarding houses spread across Ciwaruga, West Bandung Regency to investigate their current maintenance practices and property management functions. This finding highlights the policies of boarding house managers and owners regarding boarding house management planning; the extent of planning for budgeting; how to promote boarding rooms; by what means the rent is collected; a good relationship with the tenant; boarding house operational costs incurred; and the use of preventive/routine/deferred/emergency maintenance. Owners and managers of boarding houses should be aware of the concerns of tenants and they should also make designers aware of these issues; Building performance is likely to be improved if boarding house owners and managers take action in the design and operation phases in response to tenants' concerns.
