Abstract

This research is to know the influence of internal variables of banking (amount of credit and operational expense than operating income (BOPO)) on the performance of conventional banks. The population in this research is the whole of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia year of 2010-2017. The sampel  is the conventional commercial banks by as much as 14 banks, with time series data. The method used is the analysis of partial least square (PLS). The results showed that internal variables of banking (amount of credit, BOPO) negative and no significant effect on performance of conventional banks (CAR, NPL, ROA, LDR) and amount of credit credit is an indicator of a dominant influence variation/change from a conventional banks performance factors (CAR, NPL, ROA and LDR).

Abstract

This research aims to prove the stock sub group of the plantation sector has a positive value of the company (investment growth) if measured using model Tobin's q, and potential bankruptcy if measured using models Altman's Z-score first, Altman's Z-score and the Z-Altman's revision of the score as well as modifications to get the stocks that had the best performance based on the model. The sample in this study using census methods, namely the entire company group issuers shares sub plantation sector during the four-year period, starting from the observation of the year 2014-2017 recorded as many as 16 corporate issuers in Indonesia stock exchange, This form of research is research eksplanatoris. The results showed that the company's performance based on investment growth with model Tobin's q on sub plantation sector was by 20% by the year 2014, by the year 2015 amounting to 13.33% and in the year 2016 amounting to 13.33% and the year 2017 of 26.67%. Group company shares sub plantation sector which has the best performance based on the model of the Altman Z-score First for potential bankruptcy was able to note that in 2014, based on code by issuers SSMS, LSIP and AALI. In the year 2015, 2016 and 2017 which had the most improved performance is SSMS and LSIP. Group company shares sub plantation sector which has the best performance based on the model of the Altman Z-score for potential Revision of bankruptcy, it can be noted that in the year 2014, with code ANJT, LSIP issuers and SSMS. In the year 2015, 2016 and 2017 which had the most improved performance is LSIP. Group company shares sub plantation sector which has the best performance based on the model of the Altman Z-score for potential bankruptcy Modification is the year 2014, with code issuers LSIP, SSMS, ANJT, AALI, SGRO and GOLL. In the year 2015, the stocks that have the most excellent performance namely LSIP, ANJT, AALI and SSMS. In the year 2016, the stocks that have the most excellent performance namely LSIP, AALI, ANJT, PALM, SSMS, SMAR and SIMP and the year 2017 which had the most improved performance is LSIP, AALI, ANJT, SSMS and SMAR.

Abstract

The Effect of Leadership Style and Organizational Culture on Organizational Commitment in Improving Employee Performance.This study examines the effect of Leadership Style and Organizational Culture on Organizational Commitment in Improving Employee Performance at Batang Hari Regency Development Planning Regency. The performance of employees is among the key issues are constantly faced by the organization management. Therefore, among the tasks of the manager is a very important move employees to contribute to the success of the organization.The purpose of this study is to examine and determine the effect of Leadership Style and Organizational Culture on Organizational Commitment in Improving Employee Performance tested either directly or indirectly.To examine issues directly above the survey conducted by distributing questionnaires to employees Batang Hari Regency Development Planning Regency. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed qualitatively and verification. Data analysis tool made by using Path Analysis.The results of this study indicate that the effect of Leadership Style and Organizational Culture on Organizational Commitment in Improving Employee Performanc have influence for employee performance, both directly and indirectly.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out 1) what is the influence of service quality to switching intention to Bank Panin customers of Sungai Penuh City? 2) the extent to which the effect of customer satisfaction on switching intention on customer Bank Panin Sungai Penuh City? 3) the extent of the influence of service quality to switching intention either directly or indirectly? 4) the extent to which customer satisfaction satisfaction  of  customer service to switching intention either directly or indirectly? The population in this research is Bank Panin customer period 2016. hence got sample size 51 customer with accidental sampling, sampling technique. The data analysis tool used is path analysis at alpha level of 0.05. Based on the result of research indicate that service quality has no significant effect to switching intention, customer satisfaction has positive and significant effect to switching intention.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the influence of dividend policy,investment, funding and, corporate governance  to firm value  of the Company listed in indeks LQ45 in Indonesia. Firm value was proxied by Tobin’s Q (market-based financial performance). Dividend policy was measured by dividend payout ratio, investment was measured by price earning ratio and funding was measured by debt equity ratio,while Corporate governance was identified by number of audit committee. The study used 19 companies as a sample listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period of 2014-2017. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling.  This study uses secondary data from financial statements of companies. Classic assumption test in this study include normality test, multicollinearity test, heterocedasticity test and autocorrelation test. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and test the coefficient of determination. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 22. The results showed only dividend policy had positive effect on firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of e-service quality on consumer trust in Go-Ride online motorcycle taxi users in the Go-Jek application in Jambi City. identify the influence between e-service quality and consumer trust in the decisions of Go-Ride online motorcycle taxi users in the Go-Jek application in Jambi City and identify the influence of e-service quality on Go-Ride motorcycle taxi users' decisions on the Go-Jek application through consumer trust in Jambi City. The population of this study was the people of Jambi city while the sample was the people of Jambi city who more than once used the Go-Jek service as many as 150 people. The data method uses path analysis. The results of the study revealed that e-service quality had a significant influence on consumer trust in Go-Ride online motorcycle taxi users in the Go-Jek application in Jambi City, e-service quality and consumer trust had a significant influence on Go-ojek online motorcycle users' decisions. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the large contribution of the agricultural sector to the economy of the regional province of Jambi and influence the agricultural sector against economic growth the province of Jambi. The object of the research is done in the agricultural sector, economic growth and GDP Jambi province. The data used in this research is the secondary data, this research are deskriptive quantitative, quantitative formulation can answer twist of the problem. The first results showed a contribution of the agricultural sector to the total GDP Jambi province for 13 years (in 2006 – the year 2018) that ranges from 25.12% to 27.44%, the greatest contribution took place in 2008, namely of 27.44% . Meanwhile, the contribution of the agricultural sector to the total GDP the lowest occurred in the year 2015, namely of 25.12%. the median contribution in sub sectors of the fishery towards the agricultural sector amounted to 26.19%. and the second results of the estimation of simple regression model shows a positive regression coefficient i.e. Y = 1.033 + 0340 X. This showing that the higher growth in the agricultural sector, it will spur economic growth in the province of Jambi 2005-2017 with the R-square of 99.10% with a confidence level significance alfa = 5%, that influence the agricultural sector very convincing. And 0.90% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The aim of this study is the first to know the characteristics of industrial workers' households in the village of fish crackers jelmu jambi city views from sex, age, education level, the number of dependents, employment status, duration of operations and the initial capital. Secondly to study and analyze the amount of household income of industrial workers in the village of fish crackers jelmu jambi city. Third to know how much revenue contribution of household industry workers fish crackers on family income in Sub Jelmu. From the discussion we know that the characteristics of the respondents viewed the sex, most craftsmen female fish crackers or equal to 80 percent of 15 respondents. Then in terms of age craftsmen fish crackers between 40-49 years of age or 46.67 percent of the 15 people total respondents. Viewed from the level of education in the village of fish crackers pengarjin jelmu most educated junior or 46.67 percent. Number of dependents of each of the respondents ranged between 1-6 people. Among 10 respondents, or 66.67 per cent with two-3orang family members only. From satatus jobs, most of the respondents made this fish crackers craft business as a major work that is equal to 73.33 percent. Old businesses ranging from 10-30 years. Judging from the initial capital issued by the craftsmen of fish crackers ranging from Rp. 350,000 – 699,000 totaling 10 respondents or 66.67 percent of total respondents. Of the total employment of each worker is different, ranging from 1-4 people. In terms of revenue ranging from Rp. 1,500,000 – 2,000,000.- per month. Acceptance is not reduced sales of capital and production costs. Then the family income of the highest fish crackers craftsmen USD 1.225 million per month. And lowest income of Rp. 665,000.- per month. Meanwhile, cracker craftsmen revenue contribution of fish to the family income amounted to 71.72 percent. With average family income of ± Rp. 926,266.67.- per month. And the average income of farmers amounted to ± Rp fish crackers. 630,266.67.- per month.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the magnitude of the relationship 1) work culture towards organizational performance in BPSDM Jambi Province. 2) Coordination of organizational performance in BPSDM Jambi Province. 3) Work culture and Coordination of organizational performance in BPSDM Jambi Province. This study uses quantitative methods with the type of survey approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis, the conclusions that can be drawn from this study are 1) Work culture (X1) has an influence on organizational performance because the significance value is 0.041 <0.05 and t count> t table (2.064> 1.66), meaning H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) Coordination (X2) does not have an influence on organizational performance because the value of Significance is 0.109> 0.05 and seen from the value of t count <t table (1.615 <1.66), means H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected or coordination does not have a significant effect on organizational performance. 3) Based on F count 3.091> F table (2.92) and significance 0.049 <0.05% means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted or work culture and coordination simultaneously have an influence on organizational performance. So the conclusion is that if the work culture and coordination are carried out together well, then the organization's performance will also increase and vice versa.

Abstract

Jambi Province is one of the provinces with the largest Muslim population in Indonesia, with such a large population, Jambi Province should have been a pioneer and direction for the development of Islamic banking and finance in Indonesia. Nevertheless, the contribution of sharia business is still very low compared to conventional business, in 2016 the sharia banking market share is still less than 5%. For the development of sharia banking in the future, the specificity of the application of sharia principles in totality, demanding products and contracts of Islamic banking must have a link with real sector activities. This is where an understanding of governance and a professional business model and the aspects of muamalat fiqh are needed. Islamic banking as a modern banking needs to be managed with the principles of modern governance, which are in accordance with sharia principles, for this reason, this study tries to uncover and analyze how the model of sharia corporate governance implementation in sharia financial institutions. This study aims to explore the model of disclosure mechanism of sharia banking corporate governance in Jambi Province. The sample banks in the study consisted of 7 Islamic banks in Jambi Province. Research is done by using Qualitative Methods. Data analysis is done using the content analysis method. The results of the study show that for 2016, the sharia banking model that is transparent, accountable, responsive, independent and fairness analyzed can be grouped into four aspects, namely the regulatory aspects, organizational structure, process aspects and functions. From the aspects analyzed, it can be concluded that the Islamic commercial banks in implementing their governance show that bank management has implemented the principles of governance fairly well, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation. And there are still significant weaknesses in the application of its sharia governance structure model. The sharia governance model that is built is to produce a sharia banking model that is transparent, accountable, responsible, independent and fairness that is applied in Jambi Province at the same time as the provisions that apply to sharia banking internationally.
