Abstract

Human capital is an investment in the field of human resources The process of acquiring knowledge and skills through education is not merely a consumptive activity, but rather a form of investment in Human Resources (HR). This study will explain the existence of the theory of human capital in terms of investment in human capital for education. Explanation starts from the definition and concept of human capital, perspective in discussing human capital investment and methods of measuring human capital investment. This paper closes with the signaling theory which is another direction of thinking about the role of education as human capital.

Abstract

Tungkal Ilir Sub District is one of the existing sub district in the regency administration of Tanjung Jabung Barat with an area of 100,31 km2. Sub-district office Tungkal Ilir , Tanjung Jabung Barat regency is located in the middle of Kuala Tungkal City and shelter 10 vilages. Based on linear regression analysis results show the equation Y = a + b1x1 + b2x2 + e with F tests the value of  0.001, a value of the t test for education and the value of 0.023 t test for the work experience of  0.001. Rated R square 29.3% 70.7%, while the rest describes other factors outside the model study and the value of R 0542, which means the correlation is being. The suggestion for a new researcher is hoped to use a most recent year and the interval years for the research in order the reaserch could describe a detail information about education and work experience.

Abstract

Based on the current conditions that the accountability of performance or financial responsibility for outcame on the use of budget in order to realize result oriented governance has not yet materialized, this shows the weakness of the Government's Internal Control System (SPIP) and Compliance with Accounting rules. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of the apparatus and public services in the Muaro Jambi district government so that the most appropriate strategies could be found in carrying out bureaucratic reforms in the government of Muaro Jambi Regency. This research was conducted in all SKPD in Muaro Jambi Regency. The data used in this study are secondary data collected from all agencies in the Jambi City Government, and the necessary literature and journal journals. The analytical model used is path analysis which consists of direct and indirect influences. The results showed that (1) The Effectiveness of Internal Control has a significant influence on Organizational Accountability, (2) Information Asymmetry has no significant effect on the Accountability of Regional Devices Organizations in Muaro Jambi Regency, (3) Compliance with Accounting Rules has no significant effect on the Accountability of District Regional Devices Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to knowing, analyze, and reviewing the influence of work environment and motivation on job satisfaction and impact on employee performance at Land Office, Regency of Merangin, Jambi Province. The analysis method used are descriptive analysis and verification analysis. Descriptive analysis is used to reveal the facts of the object that have been research. While verification analysis is used to test and measure the influence of independent variable X1 (Work Environment) and X2 (Motivation) to the dependent variable Z (Performance) with intervening variable Y (Job Satisfaction).      The result of this research and hypothesis testing that have been conducted got the result that : 1) Effect of work environment on job satisfaction directly and indirectly is 9,001%; 2) The influence of motivation on job satisfaction directly and indirectly is 69,739%; 3) Effect of work environment and joint motivation to job satisfaction is 78,740%; 4) The effect of working environment on the performance directly and indirectly is -1,945 %; 5) The influence of motivation on performance directly and indirectly is 15,639%; 6) The influence of working environment and joint motivation on performamce is 13,693%; 7) The effect of job satisfaction on performance is 15,682%; 8) The influence of working environment and joint motivation on performance through job satisfaction is 14,009%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Management Information Systems and Communication on the performance of employees both partially and simultaneously at the Regional Secretariat's Regional Management Bureau of Jambi Province. The population in this study were employees of the Regional Secretariat Regional Management Bureau of Jambi Province with a number of 77. Because the population in this study was less than 100 people, in this study the sampling method used the census method. Quantitative analysis method using Path Analysis, followed by analysis of determination (R Square), partial hypothesis testing (t test) and simultaneous (F test) with alpha 5 percent (0.05). Before further analysis, the classical assumption test is carried out first. Analysis tools using SPSS version 21.0 for Windows. The results showed that management and communication information systems had a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Regional Secretariat's Regional Management Bureau of Jambi Province.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah aktivitas perdagangan yang tinggi akan diikuti oleh return yang positif pada periode berikutnya, dan aktivitas perdagangan yang rendah akan diikuti oleh return yang negatif pada periode berikutnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa aktivitas perdagangan dapat digunakan untuk memprediksikan return yang akan datang, aktivitas perdagangan yang tinggi pada perusahaan dengan nilai kapitalisasi besar dan perusahaan dengan nilai kapitalisasi kecil akan diikuti oleh return yang positif pada periode berikutnya, dan aktivitas perdagangan yang rendah pada perusahaan dengan nilai kapitalisasi besar dan perusahaan dengan nilai kapitalisasi kecil akan diikuti oleh return yang negatif pada periode berikutnya.
