Abstract

Memorizing the Koran becomes a part that is not released from the guarding of Allah SWT towards the authenticity of the Qur'an. However, the method of memorizing the Koran did not receive special attention and priority in the authoritative texts of the Islamic religion even though at the same time the authoritative texts, - especially the hadith, explained a lot of small and trivial matters. But PP. Usyaqil Qur'an has one of the traditional rituals relating to memorizing the Qur'an, - which are not practiced by many memorizers of the Qur'an elsewhere. Furthermore, they rely on the tradition to the Prophet. To that end, the author will examine the traditional phenomenon ?alat taqwiyah al-hifzh as one of the hadith phenomena which the community has lived (living hadith) in order to know the practice of the prayer tradition and to know their understanding of the foundation of the prayer. The phenomenology approach, interview method, and observation were chosen by the researcher to find out directly the implementation of the tradition based on the perspective of the research object.

Abstract

This study is a research-based research is research library which starts from understanding the traditions relating to human actions, in this case the actions of people who exist in the understanding of the traditions of the prophet were analyzed using Matan pendektan and critical theory ala Muhammad al-Ghazalii, the da two important questions in this study, the first of how the views of Muhammad al-Ghazali against the traditions of the human actions in relation to understanding jabariyyah and Qadariyyah, both how the biography of the life of Muhammad al-Ghazali al.hasil of this study is, first that Muhammad al-Ghazali criticized traditions of human actions according to the jabriyyah and feed space impartial understanding with a view Qadiriyyah. Both figures dalah know boigrafi Muhammad al-Ghazali, sebgai contemporary thinkers capable hadith in Muslim world.

Abstract

This study wants to explore the story of Prophet Moses and Khidr as figures of adult education in the perspective of Islamic education. The main issue of this study is how the concept of adult education in the perspective of Islamic education is able to increase the spectrum space of andragogical education. By using content analysis and narrative approaches that are primarily sourced QS. al-Kahfi: 60-82, this study seeks to show the values of Islamic education that are based on the theory of andragogical education. The characterization of Moses and Khidr as a figure of andragogical education is: Moses is present as the subject of andragogical education which has a sense of curiosity and Khidr as an object, a figure who has ladunni knowledge and high spiritual abilities. Through the method of lecture, discussion and demonstration, Musa-Khidr's narrative dialogue shows adult learning that contains the values of Islamic education, namely the moral value between teacher and student and morality in learning. The implication of this paper is an effort to contribute to scientific repertoire in the world of education as one of the dimensions of the naratological miracles of the Qoran.

Abstract

Ibn Bajjah, the first Muslim philosopher in the Western world, who had given a wide influence both to his own Islamic philosophy and many Christian Western thinkers, was a controversial figure. His thoughts besides opening the gate of independent philosophy without the interests of religious polemic also contained puzzles and images of pessimism. His work Tadbir al-Mutawahhid clearly illustrates the impossibility of the formation of al-Farabi's ideal city, also presupposes the impossibility that even divine intellectual perfection cannot change the social conditions of a damaged city. On the other hand, those who have been enlightened with their connection with the Active Intellect (al-qaql al-fa'al) through solitude actually show a passive and pessimistic attitude that looks down on the material world so that the happiness they get is merely personal happiness. This kind of attitude, even though born from universal forms of spirituality, has a resemblance to Schopenhauer's philosophical view which is pessimistic and considers the world and the will of life as obstacles to happiness. But on the other hand, the philosophy of Ibn Bajjah also shows a ladder of psychological maturation, as is the ladder of existence in Kierkegaard's philosophy, where the result is a condition of spirituality that is of the divine value.

Abstract

This article intends to examine the integration between Islamic studies and philosophy from the philosophy of science perspective. The focus of this study primarily focuses on Islamic studies in Islamic university in Indonesia, regarding the real conditions of its science seen from the perspective of philosophical learning. The second focus is the offer of the philosophy of science approach in developing Islamic studies. The article concludes that Islamic studies at the university are ?poor of philosophy" because the direction of the study is mostly dominated by normative studies.  Therefore, as the first step, the bachelor degree in all faculties of Islamic university should study philosophy of science, it is also necessary to develop Islamic studies from the philosophy of science perspective, such as the philosophy proposed by Thomas Kuhn and Imre Lakatos.

Abstract

This paper would like to present in a comparative analysis the interpretation made by M. Quraish Shihab about QS. al-Qalam. Comparison of interpretations in this paper will elevate the written and oral interpretation of M. Quraish Shihab at once, in this case the interpretation of writing will refer to the Tafseer of Al-Misbah, and the interpretation of the Oral will refer to the "Kajian Tafseer of Al-Misbah". What is interesting in the interpretation of M. Quraish Shihab is that even though it is done by the same person, there is a difference between the interpretation of the text and the oral interpretation of M. Quraish Shihab. The process of comparison of interpretations will be analyzed using the theory of orality, especially additive traits instead of subordinates. The question to be answered in this paper is how are the differences and similarities between M. Quraish Shihab's written and oral interpretations of surah al-Qalam? Abstract

Various kinds of orientalist studies on Islam began in the early 19th century, such as studies of the al-Qur`an, hadith, fiqh, and others. One of the orientalist who study Islam from the aspect of the Qur'an is Abraham Geiger. Geiger said, that there are several aspects of the Qur'an that adopted by Jewish traditions. Based on these reasons, the resecher are interested in studying this theme further. This study is a study of library research, with descriptive-analysis method. The conclusion of this study is that some Muslim scholars acknowledge the influence of Islam from other religions, not only from the linguistic aspect of the Qur'an, but also from the empirical-practical, and Islam comes to renew and modify the traditions of previous religions that are not in accordance with values of Islam.
