<![CDATA[One way to take advantage of current technological developments is to utilize the smartphone as a means of accessing the Internet network. Open Journal System Application (OJS) Application Design Concept (OJS) In Mobile / Android Covered For Readers and Author (OJS based on android) is where the application system will access the existing OJS database on the server then the data will be transferred into the application , So that OJS data on the server can be retrieved and can be entered into OJS Based Application android. Thus users / readers no longer need to access the browser, because in the Android-based OJS application will display the pdf-shaped article files.From the analysis of comparative function and viewing of OJS application that opened with browser, with OJS android based application, in essence has the same function that is displaying the work of ilmia from an institution from a researcher, but there are some deficiencies in OJS Application Based Android , Such as in the application can not display data that resides in OJS database as a whole.]]>

<![CDATA[Medical treatment using herbal plants rarely utilized by the society, because most of them didn't know the benefit inside herbal plants. therefore needed an application to educate the society about herbal life. Application system was a product of research by a herbal expert using certainty factor. Certainty factor method was a method that to believe on an event based on expert judment. Besides educating society about the benefit of herbal plants, the expert system could help to provide a consultation. Result of expert system consultation with certainty factor was to minimize uncertainty in medical treatment using herbal plants.]]>

<![CDATA[Active-Passive Sentences Converter is an android-based application that aims to transform active sentences into passive voice, it’s expected to facitate help elementary school children especially in particular to transform the active-passive sentences. The system on the application does not work if the entered sentences does not meet the S-P-O element, and for the predicate is not the same as the active verb. If the user has entered the sentence in accordance with the standard active sentence then system will move the object on the active sentence into the subject on the passive sentence as well as the subject becomes the object, and replace the active verb into a passive verb with the particle di- on the predicate. This application can only be operated at least on 4.4 Kitkat android version. The result of the application tested was awesome with the 92% of correct percentage, after applied at three elementary schools are SD Jomblangan, SDN Adisucipto, SDIT Salsabila Al Muthi’in, SDN Berbah 1 and SD Muhammadiyah Noyokerten.]]>

<![CDATA[The absence of rapid examination technique to study transportation model using Modified Distribution often learning process become less efficient and effective. To use Modified Distribution (MODI), the first must to found the first solution of transportation model. To find the first solution of this transportation model using Northwest Corner method then find optimum solution with Modified Distribution (MODI) method. Before that Modified Distribution method had built to application on desktop with [9], but it just to calculate optimum solution to find minimum cost of transportation model on matrix 3X3. On application have some suggestion for developer who want to develop it, like to change user interface to be interesting, expand matrix to m X n (for example 5X5) and add some study case in application to guide user to done case of Operation Research to calculate optimum solution to find minimum cost on transportation model using Modified Distribution (MODI) method in the class. In this essay will be develop an application Modified Distribution (MODI) using Northwest Corner method to calculate first solution and Modified Distribution (MODI) to calculate optimum solution with matrix 5X5 which implemented on android in operating system minimum API 15: Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Application Modified Distribution (MODI) have interesting interface, give easy to access information, and get accurate results, this is established from testing with score average 83,77%.]]>

<![CDATA[Yogyakarta is a province that has many excellent tourist destination. In this research will be discussed about choosing an accurate tourist spot for tourists by using decision-making system with weighted product method, in this thesis the writer take 3 criterion as supporting of SPK calculation that is cost, mileage and tourist visit. SPK application created has various features such as the calculation of the ranking value of each resort, location information and other supporting information. In this study produce an android application that serves as a supporter in decision making a tourist who will travel. Based on testing done this SPK application displays an accurate calculation with a calculation difference of 0.00587 of manual calculations. Applications that are made to run minimal on android version 4.0.3 is ice cream sandwich or above. The average value generated from the tests and trials with the questionnaire yielded a value of 70.95% scale, so the tests and trials based on the questionnaires were included in very good category.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the development of computer technology is the availability of systems or applications that help human work everyday so that can be resolved quickly and correctly. The system, one of which is Computer Based Test (CBT). CBT is an application used for tests conducted using computers that are in the application there are some features of CBT security when working on the problem. CBT can use a stand-alone computer, a computer connected to a network or a computer connected to the internet. Facial recognition is a type of biometric application that can identify specific individuals in a digital image by analyzing and developing face patterns. In its implementation, CBT has a weakness in the security system that becomes the gap of CBT users to commit fraud, therefore required a good security system with the creation of CBT applications that use eigenface algorithm. It is necessary to have a security system that overcomes the problem that is required identification of face recognition of participants during the test so that cheating can be reduced. The results of the test using eigenface algorithm accuracy rate reached 82%, some things that affect the level of accuracy is, the intensity of light, facial position and the use of accessories on the face.]]>

<![CDATA[Data communication is the process by which a resource on a computer can be used by other computers on the condition that the second computer is already connected to a communications network. To connect the computer to the router so the need for different data transfer network will occur. With the process of sharing data on these networks, the delivery process and data storage will be faster and cost-effective because it does not require a computer as a storage medium, but a router connected to the storage media. To facilitate the process of sharing data between the two should have an operating system to be easy in the connection process. Differences platform on the operating system being used is not a hindrance so that the computer can be connected. With samba server software and some of the settings on the computer and the router can be mutual sharing of data on the network that is connected to the router.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia is one of the countries which the numbers of mobile phone number users exceed its population. Most of them choose mobile phones with android operating system. This fact opens opportunities for application developers to develop applications for a variety of purposes by using android as their platform. This research aims to make Physics educational application especially for Planet material for Senior High School. Learning process which previously using material from a textbook is converted to an android application form so anyone who has android phone can access this material and be able to learn wherever and whenever they want. This educational application displays material using text and picture and contents inside it are tailored to the applicable senior high school curriculum and at the end, there are some multiple choice evaluation questions that can directly provide feedback to users who have answered the question. Test results from this educational application indicate that this application has been well received, both in the aspect of ease of use and conformity with the curriculum and otherwise useful to enrich the learning experience of physics, especially about the Planet.]]>
