Abstract

This study is performed to examine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Insider Ownership, Size and Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) toward Dividend Policy in manufacturing company which is listed in BEJ and share the dividend to shareholder. The objective this study is to scale and analyze the effect of the company financial ratios performance Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Insider Ownership, Size and Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) toward Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) in manufacturing company which is listed in BEJ over period 2005-2007. Sampling technique used here is purposive sampling on criterion (1) the company that trade their stocks in Bursa Efek Jakarta; (2) the company that represent their financial report per December 2005 – 2007; and (3) the company that continually share their dividend per December 2005 – 2007. The data is obtained based on Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD 2008) publication. It is gained sample amount of 17 companies from 151 companies those are listed in BEJ. The analysis technique used here is multiple regressions with the least square difference and hypothesis test using t-statistic to examine partial regression coefficient and F-statistic to examine the mean of mutual effect with level of significance 0,05 or 5%. In addition, classical assumption is also performed including normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. From the analysis result, it indicates that DER and Ln IOS variable partially significant toward DPR of the company on 2005-2007 period on the level of significance less than 5%, while it indicates that Ln Insider Ownership and Size variable partially not significant toward DPR. While simultaneously DER, Ln Insider, Size, Ln IOS proof significantly influent DPR in BEJ in level less than 5%. Predictable of four variables toward DPR is 43,3% as indicated by adjusted R square that is 43,3% while the rest 56,7% is affected by other factors which are not included into the study model.

Abstract

This research is performed on order to test the influence of the variable Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Biaya Operasional/Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), dan Giro Wajib Minimum (GWM) toward Earning Changes.Methodology research as the sample used purposive sampling, sample was accured 26Bank Pembangunan Daerah in Indonesia. Data analysis with multi liniear regression of ordinary least square and hypotheses test used t-statistic and F-statistic at level of significance 5%, a clasic assumption examination which consist of data normality test, multicolinearity test, hetersoskedasticity test and autocorrelation test is also being done to test the hypotheses.During research period show as variabel and data research was normal distributed. Based on test, multicolinearity test, hetersoskedasticity test and autocorrelation test classic assumption deviation has no founded, this indicate that the available data has fulfill the condition to use multi linear regression model. This result of research show that variable BOPO and GWM did not influence Earning Changes. Variable CAR, NIM, and LDR positive significant influence  toward Earning Changes. Prediction capability from these five variable toward Earning Changes  is 20,6% where the balance 79,4% is affected to other factor which was not to be entered to research model.

Abstract

The capital market is one of investment alternative that able to yield optimal advantage for investor. Each investor is requiring of relevant information with transaction development in stock. This is very important to be made in consideration in compiling strategy and decision making of investment in capital market. In taking decision to conduct a require to be paid attention two matter that is investment risk and return. At securities that have same return, investor try to look for the lower risk. The objectives of this research to analyze the influence of interest rate, trading volume, and exchange rate to sector property stock return that listed on BEI in 2003-2007 periods.This research using time series data from JSX Statistic ICMD (Indonesian Capital Market Directory) and Indonesian Bank monthly published on BEI in January 2003 until December 2006. Population in this research is all company which included in property sector that is 45 companies and number of samples 20 companies by passing phase purposive sample. Analyze technique to use in this research is multiple linier regression to obtain describe which totally regarding relationship between one variable with other variable. The result of this reseacrh shows that interest rate variable has a negative and significant to stock return, while trading volume has positive and not significant to stock return, and than exchange rate have negative significant influence to stock return.

Abstract

Turnover intentions in hospitality industry is a signal of the employee turnover in the industry. The company shall give a serious attention because a high turnover within a company can interrupt activities and productivities. Beside, turnover can also create instability and uncertainty of employee condition. According to the above, the researcher argues that it is necessary to have a further examination about the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and turnover intentions in the hospitality industry.The deep theory analysis of variables affecting turnover intentions brings the researcher to develop a research model consisting of three variables which are job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intentions as well as three research hypotheses. Data of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intentions is obtained through interviews using questionnaires to 142 respondents who are employees of the Novotel Hotel. Then, data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Technique of Analysis.The result of the three research hypotheses test using SEM shows that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on turnoverintentions, and job satisfaction statistically proven that it does not have any significant effect on turnover intentions.Based on that results, therefore the research questions are solved. That turnover intentions is affected by organizational commitment. Therefore, in order to push the turnover intentions in a low number, the management need to take efforts to improve the organizational commitment of the employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel Kepemilikan saham manajemen, kepemilikan saham institusi, IOS, ROA, DER, dan Cash Flow terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) pada perusahaan yang listed di BEJ periode 2005-2007. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria: (1) perusahaan yang selalu menyajikan laporan keuangan per Desember 2005-2007, (2) perusahaan yang sahamnya ikut dimiliki manajemen per Desember 2005-2007 dan (3) perusahaan yang secara kontinyu membagikan dividen per Desember 2005-2007. Data diperoleh berdasarkan publikasi Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD 2008). Diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 17 perusahaan dari 343 perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEJ. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan persamaan kuadrat terkecil dan uji hipotesis menggunakan t-statistik untuk menguji koefisien regresi parsial serta f-statistik untuk menguji keberartian pengaruh secara bersama-sama dengan level of significance 5%. Selain itu juga dilakukan uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas dan uji autokorelasi. Selama periode pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa data penelitian berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tidak ditemukan ditemukan adanya penyimpangan asumsi klasik, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa data yang tersedia telah memenuhi syarat untuk menggunakan model persamaan regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil analisis pada perusahaan menunjukkan bahwa data kepemilikan institusi dan ROA secara parsial signifikan terhadap DPR di BEI periode 2005-2007 pada level of significance kurang dari 5%, sedangkan kepemilikan saham manajemen, IOS, Cash Flow dan DER tidak signifikan terhadap DPR dengan level of significance lebih besar dari 5%.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja dosen. Beberapa peneliti yang menghubungkan tiga variabel ini (Budaya organisasi, komunikasi dan komitmen organisasi) dengan kinerja menghasilkan kesimpulan yang sama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan komunikasi terhadap komitmen organisasi dan pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja.Populasi penelitian ini adalah dosen UDINUS, yang berjumlah 165 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan SEM dengan AMOS sebagai alat analisisnya.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh implikasi managerial yang dapat disimpulkan adalah bahwa komitmen organisasi adalah faktor dominan yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya komitmen organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja. Hasil ini memberi masukan penting untuk UDINUS agar meningkatkan komitmen para dosen terhadap organisasi ini.

Abstract

Masalah yang ada dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya motivasi karyawan di BMT Bintoro Madani sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja mereka. Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh dari kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.Model yang dikembangkan merefleksikan faktor-faktor penting tersebut. Berdasarkan pada data yang diambil dari BMT Bintoro Madani. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 120 orang karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara kepada responden, dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor konfirmatori dan maximum likelihood estimation dalam Structural equation modeling pada program AMOS 5. Dari kuesioner yang disebar, sampai tahap pengolahan data dilakukan, jumlah kuesioner yang lengkap dan bisa digunakan adalah 115. Sehingga jumlah responden yang dapat dianalisis adalah 115. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Selanjutnya motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara positif dan signifikan. Kepuasan kerja secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara positif dan signifikan. Dibahas pula implikasi teoritis dan manajerial sesuai prioritas yang bisa dilakukan oleh perusahaan. Keterbatasan penelitian dan agenda penelitian mendatang dapat dijadikan acuan bagi peneliti selanjutnya.
