Statistical pattern recognition is the process of using statistical techniques to obtain information and make informed decisions based on data measurements. It is possible to solve the doubt inherent in the objective function of the 2-Dimension Linear Discriminant Analysis by employing the symmetrical 2-Dimension Linear Discriminant Analysis approach. Symmetrical 2-dimensional linear discriminant analysis has found widespread use as a method of introducing handwritten capital letters. Symmetric 2-DLDA, according to Symmetric 2-DLDA, produces better and more accurate results than Symmetric 2-DLDA. So far, pattern recognition has been based solely on computer knowledge, with no connection to statistical measurements, such as data variation and Euclidean distance, particularly in symmetrical images. As a result, the aim of this research is to create algorithms for recognizing capital letter patterns in a wide range of handwriting. The ADL2-D symmetric method is used in this study as the development of the ADL2-D method. The research results in an algorithm that considers the left and right sides of the image matrix, as opposed to ADL2-D, which does not consider the left and right sides of the image matrix. This study aims to cluster all districts/cities in Indonesia related to poverty indicators. The attributes used are poverty gap index and poverty severity index. The data used comes from BPS. The method used is K-Means clustering, and the results show that by using the elbow and silhouette index methods, the optimal number of clusters is 2, where for cluster 1, it can be defined as a cluster with an area with a high poverty gap index and poverty severity index compared to cluster 2. As a result, cluster 1 has 42 districts/cities, and 472 for cluster 2.

Information security issues commonly arise in a company and institution, including those in University. Some of the threats and attacks are unauthorized access, system user accountability, and logical and physical issues. This study reveals the obedience rate of the information security principle in Universitas Amikom Purwokerto and provides a recovery strategy. The domains being used were APO13, DSS5, and MEA3. The researcher employed a descriptive quantitative method by having documentation, interview, and administering a questionnaire to the respondents. The respondents were 83 employees who got selected by using the purposive sampling technique. The result shows that the capability level is in level 3, known as the established process. It means that the employees have applied the current procedure, even though they have not applied information security management. The proposed refinement strategy emphasizes the security policy, classification and asset management, physics and environment security, and business continuity management. The gap can be fixed by implementing the proposed refinement strategy. Future researchers may evaluate obedience based on the identified variables by keeping the standard in mind.

The most important element of higher education was students, therefore every university must continue to improve services in the future, and one of them was by using decision support. This case could be done by utilizing the University of Big Data. Predicting the number of prospective students in higher education was done by utilizing data mining and multiple linear regression approaches. By using 2 independent variables, namely administration costs (X1), accreditation score (X2), and the number of students who was registered each year as dependent variable (Y). For the test data, it used database for the last 13 years. By using multiple linear regression, the intercept value was sought and the coefficient of determination until the regression coefficient was obtained with the equation Y = 45.28 + -0.02.X1 + 121.58.X2, noted that if X2 was constant, the increasing of one unit was in X1 would have the effect of increasing -0.02 units on Y. Secondly, if X1 was constant, the increasing of one unit was in X2, would have the effect of increasing 121.58 units in Y. Thirdly, if X1 and X2 were equal to zero, the magnitude of Y was 45.28 units. Therefore, the proposed approach could be provided the acceptable predictive results.

Fasilitas pendidikan merupakan salah satu indikator untuk tercapainya capaian pembelajaran di sekolah. Keberadaan fasilitas, guru, dan tenaga pendidik sangat dibutuhkan pada lingkungan sekolah. Untuk memudahkan pemerintah setempat dalam penanganan pemerataan kebutuhan sekolah, maka diperlukan pengklasteran atau pengelompokan sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membantu pihak pemerintah dalam mengklaster sekolah tertentu menjadi beberapa cluster, sehingga memudahkan untuk melakukan pendampingan maupun pengadaan kebutuhan sekolah dilingkungan pemerintah Kabupaten Seruyan. Klasterisasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan algoritma K-Means. Penerapan Algoritma K-Means dengan menentukan nilai Cluster yaitu 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa setiap Cluster memiliki jumlah keanggotaannya masing-masing. Pada Cluster0 terdiri dari 178 sekolah, Cluster1 terdiri dari 3 sekolah, dan Cluster2 terdiri dari 43 sekolah. Kemudian hasil pemeringkatan Cluster secara berurutan diperoleh dari Cluster1, Cluster0, dan terakhir adalah Cluster2. Selanjutnya dalam pengujian performance algoritma K-Means dengan membagi menjadi 3 Cluster diperoleh nilai Davies Bouldin Index senilai -0,695. Dari hasil pegolahan dan analisis data terdapat 43 sekolah dalam cluster rendah, sehingga penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlu dilakukan pendampingan dan pengadaan kebutuhan sekolah terhadap sekolah cluster rendah oleh dinas pendidikan pada pemerintah kabupaten Seruyan.

Social media is one part of digital marketing that is used for the development of marketing business products known as social-marketing. The use of social media as social marketing is still managed conventionally and has not implemented business social media. This study was conducted to analyze the clusters and classifications of the use of social media by fashion designers in West Sumatra in marketing their products. This analysis uses the k-Means algorithm and c45 uses the Rapidminer application for the fashion designer industry in West Sumatra. Data is collected from Instagram and Facebook of fashion designers. The data analyzed by K-Means resulted in 3 clusters of social media use, namely 3 less active clusters, 12 active clusters and 1 very active, then classification using the C45 method resulted in a decision tree that described the most and the least in using social media. This study resulted in grouping and classifying variables from whether or not the use of social media in social marketing for the fashion designer industry players in West Sumatra was good or not. The results of this study can be used as a reference for developing integrated marketing for West Sumatra fashion designers.

Badan perencanaan pembangunan daerah (Bappeda) kabupaten Ende merupakan suatu instansi pemerintah yang berhubungan langsung dengan aktivitas pendisposisian surat masuk dan surat keluar yang saat ini masih menggunakan cara manual dengan mencatat ke dalam buku besar sehingga menimbulkan masalah tulisan surat sulit dibaca, data surat mudah rusak dan hilang. Sistem informasi monitoring disposisi surat masuk dan surat keluar berbasis website bertujuan untuk membantu tahapan pendisposisian surat masuk dan surat keluar terkomputerisasi menggunakan jaringan internet. Penelitian ini membantu badan perencanaan pembangunan daerah kabupaten Ende dalam hal monitoring proses pendisposisian surat masuk dan surat keluar agar dapat berjalan dengan efektif dan efisisen. Metodologi perancangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Dalam penelitian ini juga digunakan 2 metodologi pengujian sistem yakni pengujian system usability scale (SUS) dan task skenario. Hasil penelitian terhadap 7 orang responden dalam penggunaan sistem informasi monitoring disposisi surat masuk dan surat keluar berbasis website diketahui skor SUS rata-rata 82,1 dengan interpretasi kategori grade B dan dapat diterimah (acceptable). Sedangkan hasil dari pengujian task skenario terhadap 7 partisipan diperoleh tingkat keberhasilan task adalah 100% yang berarti partisipan tersebut dapat menyelesaikan semua task, dengan begitu dapat disimpulkan sistem tersebut dapat digunakan dengan mudah oleh pengguna.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengoptimasi kinerja system E-Nose dengan melakukan seleksi fitur untuk memperoleh kombinasi fitur yang terbaik dalam mengklasifikasi aroma jenis kopi arabika Gayo. Kopi ini merupakan salah satu kopi spesial dari Indonesia yang berasal dari Provinsi Aceh. Berbagai faktor dapat mempengaruhi hasil akhir kopi salah satunya pada proses pengolahan pasca panen diantaranya teknik proses kering (drying) dengan metode Natural dan Wine. Perbedaan metode pengolahan pasca panen ini dapat mempengaruhi aroma kopi yang dihasilkan dari setiap kopi yang memiliki aroma dan cita rasa yang khas. Penerapan sistem Electronic Nose (E-Nose) dapat diaplikasikan untuk mengklasifikasi aroma yang berbeda dari jenis kopi Gayo natural dan Gayo wine, namun kesamaan respon sensor dan banyaknya data menyebabkan kurang spesifik dan menurunkan performa kinerja sistem. Implementasi seleksi fitur dapat diterapkan pada proses klasifikasi dengan menggunakan metode Support Vector Machine (SVM) berdasarkan jumlah galat Sum of Absolute Errors (SAE) untuk mendapatkan kombinasi fitur terbaik sehingga mendapatkan kinerja sistem yang lebih optimal. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan 5 fitur terbaik dengan nilai akurasi sebesar 93,33%, presisi sebesar 93,33% dan sensitivitas sebesar 93,33%.

Traffic lights are generally used to regulate the control flow of traffic at an intersection from all directions, including a pelican crossing system with traffic signals for pedestrians. There are two facilities for walker crossing, namely using a pedestrian bridge and a zebra cross. In general, the traffic signals of the pelican crossing system are a fixed time, whereas other pedestrians need "green man" traffic lights with duration time arrangement. Our research proposes a prototype intelligent pelican crossing system for somebody who crosses the road at zebra crossings, but the risk of falling while crossing is not expected, especially in the elderly age group or pedestrians who are pregnant or carrying children. On the other hand, the problem is that the average step length or stride length (distance in centimeter), cadence or walking rate (in steps per minute), and the possibility of accidents are very high for pedestrians to make sure do crossing during the lights “green man”. The new idea of our research aims to set the adaptive time arrangement on the pelican crossing intelligent system of the traffic lights “green man” based on the age of the pedestrians with artificial intelligence using two combined methods of the FaceNet and AgeNet. The resulting measure can predict the age of pedestrians of the training dataset of 66.67% and testing prototype in real-time with participants on the pelican crossing system of 73% (single face) and 76% (multi faces).

Cats are animals that are loved by many people and are widely used as pets. All things related to cat health will be pursued by cat owners. However, sometimes the prevention efforts that have been made by cat owners cannot stop the spread of cat diseases, especially those caused by viruses. One of the viruses that can infect cats is feline panleukopenia virus. Where this virus can be deadly and can spread easily. Sometimes the symptoms caused are like ordinary diseases and can not be easily understood by cat owners. Early diagnosis is needed to prevent this disease. What can be done is to create an expert system, which with this system can diagnose feline panleukopenia based on the initial symptoms seen. In addition, to support diagnosis, use IoT devices to determine the body temperature and heart rate of the cat. The purpose of this study is to provide an early prediction of Panleu disease in cats, so that it can make it easier for users to immediately follow up from the initial diagnosis obtained. The research was conducted by conducting a literature study, collecting and analyzing data, making designs and tools, implementing, and testing. The results obtained from this study used 13 samples obtained from veterinarians, where the results of the expert diagnosis were eight samples of acute panleukopenia, four samples of chronic panleukopenia, and 1 sample of non-panleukopenia. The results were obtained with an accuracy of 92 %. The average deviation value of the pulse sensor is 2.40 % and the average deviation value of the LM35 sensor is 1.30 %.
