Abstract

Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is a company's plan to maintain its business continuity. When implementing BCP, a framework is needed to make the resulting BCP meet the needs of the company. One of the frameworks that can be used in BCP implementation is the BCP framework proposed by Yusrida. However, this framework can not be used as a standard because of the lack of empirical studies. The purpose of this research is to create BCP as well as to test the BCP framework proposed by Yusrida. This study was conducted with two scenarios. the first scenario is to implement BCP at PT. Lotte Chemical Titan Nusantara which follows the Yusrida’s BCP framework and the second scenario is to evaluate each stage of the framework. The results of this study are recommendations for improvements to the framework based on findings from the implementation of the Yusrida BCP framework at PT. Lotte Chemical Titan Nusantara.

Abstract

To survive the industrial revolution 4.0 which was marked by the massive use of digital technology, educational organizations are expected to do digital transformation. However, unfortunately it is commonly known that there is a gap in the use of technology in Indonesia between big cities and regions, between modern education system and traditional education system. To reduce this gap, blended learning technology training was held aimed for teachers in the Darul Ulum Islamic boarding school in Peterongan, Jombang. Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Islamic is a boarding school with almost 10,000 students. In the Darul Ulum Islamic boarding school its self there are various educational units ranging from primary school to higher education. This study focuses on investigating the online learning technology adoption by teachers in Islamic boarding school, especially their perspective on the technology. Our findngs showed that they are very ready to adopt the technology.

Abstract

The current statistics on electronic-commerce distribution in Indonesia mostly only reveal the number and value of transactions, but not the distribution, both in terms of the quantity of online stores and the types of goods sold. This study aims to develop a visualization of the distribution of online stores in Indonesia. The data used in this study is crowdsourced data taken from one of online marketplaces in Indonesia. The data is analyzed and processed to produce statistics on the distribution of online stores by region and type of goods. These statistics are displayed in map visualization for ease of use. This visualization can be utilized by the government or stakeholders to monitor the development of online stores in each region and make strategic decisions. The visualization can be used further to obtain statistics and the distribution of the types of goods sold online, comparing them to ordinary trade and typical products from each region. Underdeveloped regions can then be motivated to develop their electronic commerce to their full potential. This research is also expected to be used as a reference for even distribution of electronic commerce in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kickstarter is one of the most famous worldwide crowdfunding platforms. Pebble smart watch slash wearable technology is one example of successful story on Kickstarter. With current trend on how successful a project can be delivered until its product launch, Kickstarter must analyze its data to asses which projects that is successful and how its revenue progress. With business intelligence approach, Kickstarter could make performance evaluation from three aspects, such as Strategic, Management, and Operational. This will detect which project is failed to reach their goal and how project grow each region. Based on our approach, there are four types of insights, namely descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights. This insight could be used as a reference for companies reaching their goals. Although there are some of the biggest and most-pledged projects done in 2015, Kickstarter hit their worst year because they found that many projects could not reach their target. However, respectively in 2016 and 2017 Kickstarter had their percentage of success projects increase slowly although there are many competitors, such as new crowdfunding platform.

Abstract

The Government of Madiun City is committed to apply Smart City concept by implementing Madiun Service Desk (MSD) to support e-government. However, the implementation of MSD application is not yet equipped with an operational standard for delivering information technology (IT) services to the consumers. Meanwhile, the IT services are handled by a Service Desk who ensures that the service levels are adhered, and requests are fulfilled. This research focuses on the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), including procedures and forms to support their operations. Prior to the development of the SOPs, an information gathering was performed to understand the landscape of Service Desk. Then, a gap analysis was conducted based on the landscape and the standardized operations according to ITIL V3. The results from the research includes 4 (four) procedures, and 8 (eight) forms that has been validated by Service Desk in the Madiun City.
