Abstract

This research examines the dual role of sandwich generation women in the public and domestic spheres. The sandwich generation here refers to individuals, especially women, who have to take care of their children while caring for their parents. So that sandwich generation women have a greater role in the family. The main purpose of this study is to describe the dual role of sandwich generation women and analyze how sandwich generation women balance their roles in the domestic and public spheres as well as the forms of dual roles carried out in everyday life. The research method used is qualitative method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and participatory observation with sandwich generation women in Batubara Regency. The results showed that the role of sandwich generation women in Batubara Regency has increased significantly. The dual roles experienced by sandwich generation women are reproductive, production and social roles. In the domestic space, they act as primary caregivers who provide physical and emotional needs for family members. Meanwhile, in the public sphere, they play an active role in the world of work and social activities, even as the main breadwinner. They carry out dual roles by balancing work and family responsibilities

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of istighosah on emotional control of Jama'ah Majelis Ta'lim Miftahul Huda, Corner Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency. The research method used is a quantitative research method used to examine certain populations or samples, data collection using research instruments, quantitative / statistical data analysis with the aim of testing hypotheses that have been set. The approach used in this study is an associative approach, which is research that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression. The results of this study show that there is a positive and significant influence between istighosah on emotional control of Jama'ah Majelis Ta'lim Miftahul Huda, Desa Corner, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency, which means that the higher the istighosah activities in the congregation, the higher the emotional control of the Jama'ah Majlis Ta'lim.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the negative stigma about higher education given by the Javanese ethnic community to Javanese ethnic students, find out the negative impact of the stigma about higher education obtained by Javanese ethnic students and find out the resilience efforts of Javanese ethnic students in facing the negative stigma of society regarding education in Sei Mencirim Village, Kutalimbaru District. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were obtained through non-participant observation, interviews and documentation using data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the stigma regarding higher education given by the Javanese ethnic community to Javanese ethnic female students is closely bound by Javanese cultural values that Javanese women revolve around the 3M area macak (decorate themselves), manak (give birth), masak (in the kitchen) or kitchen, well, mattress the stigma has a different negative impact on each female student including negative cognitive impacts, physiological impacts, emotional impacts and behavioral impacts. The existence of resilience efforts owned by female students succeeded in making them rise from the negative impact, the efforts they made were different, including students making positive affirmations, improving the quality of worship, and occupying themselves with positive activities, so that from these efforts some students still continued their studies and some of them had completed their studies and succeeded in achieving the goals they craved
