This research aimed to determine the effect of double leg speed hops and knee tuck jump training in improving power of leg muscle. This research was a true experiment by the randomized pretest posttest control groups design. Samples taken by simple random sampling with a total samples were 45 students. Power of leg muscle was measured by vertical jump test and data were analyzed by independent t-test, one way anova and least significant difference (LSD) with significance level (α) 0,05 using SPSS 16.0. The results of using independent t-test showed that double leg speed hop and knee tuck jump training effective to improve the power of leg muscle with a significance value of 0,001 and 0,000 (Sig < 0,05). Based on one way anova and least significant difference (LSD) showed that there was a different effect between the two types of training in which knee tuck jump training have a better effect than double leg speed hops training with mean difference of 2,600. From the results, it could be concluded that double leg speed hop and knee tuck jump training were effective to improve power of leg muscle and there was a different effect between the two types of training and knee tuck jump training have a better effect than double leg speed hops training.

The aim of this study to determine the effect of weight training on leg press towards running speed and explosive power leg muscle. Type of this research is real experimental (true experimental) with draft of The Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. 60 samples from class X of SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja school year 2012/2013 are determined by random sampling technique. Running speed was measured with a 50 meters sprint test and leg muscle explosive power measured by the vertical jump test, then the data were analyzed by independent t-test at significance level (α) of 0.05. Calculated significance value smaller than the value of α (0.05), thus the research hypothesis "leg press weight training affects the running speed and explosive power of the leg muscles" acceptable. From the results of this study concluded that: (1) leg press weight training affect men's running speed class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja school year 2012/2013. (2) training load effect on the leg press leg muscle explosive power class X student son SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja school year 2012/2013. Recommended for sports people (coaches, trainers, athletes and gym teacher) to use the leg press weight training as an alternative to increasing running speed and explosive power leg muscle.

The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of badminton shadow training  toward the  increased agility and  speed of  reaction. The type of research  was a quasi-experimental and the design of  research  was  the  non-randomized  pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were  man’s  student badminton extracurricular participants of SMAN 4 Singaraja.  Agility and speed of  reaction posttest to the treatment group and the control group were analyzed  by  independent t-test at significance  0,05 with SPSS 16.0.  Based  on independent t-test results were showed : (1) to the agility variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values ​​obtained t = 2,724, with a significance value of 0,011, (2) to the speed of reaction variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values ​​obtained t = 2,524, with a significance value of 0,018. Calculated significance value smaller than the value of 0,05 (Sig < 0.05), thus the research hypothesis "badminton shadow training affect the increased agility and reaction speed in badminton extracurricular participants of SMAN 4 Singaraja " was received. From the analyzed and discussion were concluded that : (1) badminton shadow training effect the increased agility in badminton extracurricular participants of SMAN 4 Singaraja, (2) badminton shadow training effect the increased reaction speed in badminton extracurricular participants of  SMAN 4 Singaraja.

This research aimed at knowing the effect of continuous circuit training toward speed and agility of basketball extracurricular students in SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja which consisted of 24 students. The subject of the research was divided into two groups by using ordinal pairing technique. The type research used in this study was quasi experimental which used the modification non-randomized control group pre-test post-test design as the design of the study. The speed was measured by using sprint test 60 meters and the agility was measured by using zig-zag run, and then the data was analyzed by using t-independent test at 5% alpha level of significance by the used of SPSS program. The result of the data analysis of the speed showed that the significance value of speed = 0.003 and the significance value of agility = 0.000. Those results showed that the significance values of speed and agility was lower than α = 0,05 so that the hypothesis was accepted. Based on the results of data analysis and the explanation above, it can be concluded that continuous circuit training gave effect on increasing the speed of basketball extracurricular students in SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja in which the significance was lower than 0.01 and the continuous circuit training also gave effect on increasing the agility of basketball extracurricular students in SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja in which the significance was lower than 0.01. It is suggested to use this training as an alternative in increasing speed and agility.

This study aimed to determine the effect of circuit training on agility and the vital capacity of the lungs. This study was a quasi experiment study with nonrandomized pretest posttes control groups design. The subject of this study were 50 male participants of extracurricular football at SMP Negeri 4 Negara in academic year 2012/2013. Agility was measured by using dogging run, while the vital capacity of the lungs was measured by using spirometer and the data was analyzed by independent t-test with significance of (α) 0,05 by using SPPSS 16.0. The result of analysis data by using independent t-test showed that circuit training affected the improvement of agility and the vital capacity of the lungs with significance value for agility was 0.000 and 0.000 for the vital capacity of the lungs. From the result of analysis data could be concluded that circuit training affected the improvement of agility and the vital capacity of the lungs. It is suggested for the coach, teacher and athlete to use circuit training as one alternative in improving agility and the vital capacity of the lungs.

This research aimed to determine the effect of jump service training with the prefix and without the prefik of the leg muscle explosive power. This research type is a quasi-experimental research design with nonrandomized control goup the pre-test post-test design. The subjects were men's students volleyball extracurricular participants in SMA Negeri 1 Selemadeg Tabanan school year 2012/2013 as many as 30 people. Explosive leg muscle power is measured by using a vertical jump test. And was followed by a further LSD test for comparison, the results of group jump service training with the prefix (6.80) is better than jump service training without the prefik (2.80) to increase leg muscle explosive power. From these results it can be concluded that: (1) jump service with and without the prefix affect the increase in leg muscle explosive power, (2) there is a difference between the effect of jump service training with the prefix and jump service without the prefik to the explosive power of the leg muscles, which jump service training the prefix is ​​better than jump service training without the prefix to increase leg muscle explosive power.

This research aimed to determine the affects of alternate leg bound and skipping training to improvement agility and power of leg muscle. This research was a real experiment by the randomized pre-test post-tes control group design. The research population to 178 and sample are 45 people. Data of agility measured by shuttle run test and power of leg muscle measured by vertical jump test, further data were analyzed with anava one way test and least significant difference (LSD) test at a significance level (α) 0.05, by SPSS 16.0. The results showed that an improvement in the average value of the variable agility. Group treatment training alternate leg bound of 2.42, skipping training treatment groups of 1.09 and 0.21 in the control group. On the variable power of leg muscle also improvement the average value. Group treatment alternate leg bound training was 6.26, in the group treated by skipping training 9.13, and 1.53 in the control group. The conclusions training alternate leg bound and skipping is affected to improvement agility and power of leg muscle and there is a difference affected of training alternate leg bound and skipping to improvement agility and power of leg muscle.

This study was aimed at proving the influence of training of the Plaiometrik Floor Kip concerning to the improvement of leg muscle explosive power. The subject of this study were the class X of SMA PGRI 1 Amlapura in academic year 2012/2013 that consist of 70 students which divided into 2 groups, there were 35 students in group of treatment and 35 students in group of control. This study used an experimental research by designed the modified randomized the pretest posttest control group design. The instrument of this study was test. The agility was measure by the zig-zag run test and the explosive leg muscle power was measure by standing broad jump test. The data were analized by using Uji-t independent at significance level 0.05. the data were analized using SPSS 16,0. The result of the data showed that there was improvement in students mean score in agility in treatment group that was 1.20 second and in control group the improvement of the mean score was 7,88 cm however the control group improve became 2,2 cm. It can concluded that plaiometrik floor kip training could improve the agility and the explosive leg muscle power. The significance improvement for agility was 0.000 (sig = 0,000), and the explosive leg muscle power was 0,000 (sig = 0,000).
