Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Undiksha is an open access peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Jurusan Pendidikan Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The journal publishes different kinds of scientific articles based on the field research and program in the area of early childhood education. We received only articles relating to early childhood education fields, and can be written using quantitative or qualitative approaches. Articles can be made in a variety of research designs, such as action research, experiments, and case studies. This journal was published since 2012, and from 2016 we published articles three times a year (April, August, and December).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak setelah diterapkan metode bermain melalui permainan rebut tempat dengan memanfaatkan variasi media kelompok A TK Ikal Widya Kumara denpasar.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 17 orang anak kelompok A semester 2 TK Ikal Widya Kumara Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Data penelitian perkembangan kognitif dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan metode wawancara dengan instrumen yang berupa lembar observasi. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif, metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa meningkatnya perkembangan kognitif dengan penerapan metode bermain melalui permainan rebut tempat dengan memanfaatkan variasi media diperoleh rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 59,02% yang berada pada kriteria “rendah” mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 82,52% tergolong “kriteria tinggi”. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase rata-rata anak dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 23.5%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain melalui permainan rebut tempat dengan memanfaatkan variasi media dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif pada anak kelompok A semester 2 TK Ikal Widya Kumara DenpasarKata Kunci : bermain,rebut tempat,perkembangan kognitif This research is aimed to know about the improment of the children cognitive development after the application of playing method throvgh by using a variety of media in group A TK Ikal Widya Kumara Denpasar applicd. The type of this researeh is dassroom action research (car) this was implemented in two cycles. The subject of the research were 17 group A children in Semerter 2 of TK Ilak Widya Kumara in the school year of 2014/2015. The research data of cognitive development in this research wa assen bled by using observation and interview methods by the instruments which formed in some observation sheet. The research result data was analyzed by vsing descripfive statistic analysisi,qlalitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive methods. The reserchs result data was analyzed by vsing descriptire statistic analysis,qulitatiiv descriptive analysis and quantative descriptive methods. The result of data analysis showed that . there was an improvement of the childrens cognitive development by the application of plase playoof game method by ising a variety of media, obtained the average of cycle is 59,2%, which belong to “ low criteria “ was increased in cyde II to 82,52%,and it was belong to “ high critera”. It showed that there is an improve ment of the childen average percentage from cycle I to cyck II for 23,5%.from the result, it can be concluded that the application of media can increase the cognitive development of semester 2 group children in TK Ikal Widya Kumara.keyword : Playing,Place Playoff ,Lognitive Development
