Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Undiksha is an open access peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Jurusan Pendidikan Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The journal publishes different kinds of scientific articles based on the field research and program in the area of early childhood education. We received only articles relating to early childhood education fields, and can be written using quantitative or qualitative approaches. Articles can be made in a variety of research designs, such as action research, experiments, and case studies. This journal was published since 2012, and from 2016 we published articles three times a year (April, August, and December).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bermain peran berbantuan media wayang terhadap kemampuan berbicara pada anak kelompok B di PAUD Gugus Sandat Kecamatan Denpasar Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B di PAUD Gugus Sandat Kecamatan Denpasar Utara yang berjumlah 339 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 di PAUD Candra Kasih Denpasar yang berjumlah 21 orang anak sebagai kelompok yang dibelajarankan dengan metode bermain peran berbantuan media wayang dan anak kelompok B di TK Swa Darma Denpasar berjumlah 20 orang anak sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Data hasil kemampuan berbicara dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh thitung = 7,290 sedangkan pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk=39 diperoleh nilai ttabel = 2,021 sehingga thitung = 7,290 > ttabel = 2,021. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, maka H0 ditolak. Adapun nilai rata-rata kemampuan berbicara pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan metode bermain peran berbantuan media wayang adalah = 89,90, sedangkan pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional adalah = 77,95. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode bermain peran berbantuan media wayang terhadap kemampuan berbicara pada anak kelompok B di PAUD Gugus Sandat Kecamatan Denpasara Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : bermain peran, media wayang, kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini The purpose of this research is to know the influence of role playing method of assisted puppet media to speech ability on child group B in PAUD Gugus Sandat, North Denpasar Sub District, in Lesson Year 2016/2017. This research type is quasi experiment research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is all children of group B in PAUD Gugus Sandat Sub-district of North Denpasar, amounting to 339 people. Samples were taken by random sampling technique. The sample in this research is the childrens of group B1 in PAUD Candra Kasih Denpasar amounting to 21 students as the group which is recommended with the role playing method assisted puppet media and the childrens of group B in TK Swa Darma Denpasar are 20 students as control group with conventional learning. Data of speech ability was collected by observation technique which analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis technique and inferential statistic with t-test. Based on result of analysis obtained tvalue = 7,290 while at 5% significance level with dk=39 obtained ttable = 2,021 so tvalue = 7,290 > ttable = 2,021. Based on test criteria, H0 is rejected. The average value of speech ability in the group that was studied by the role playing method assisted puppet media was = 89,90, whereas in the group taught by conventional learning method was = 77,95. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan membaca permulaan antara kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui metode demonstrasi berbantuan media audio visual dan kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan kelompok non-ekuivalen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B TK Gugus Jempiring Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling. Data hasil pre-test dianalisis untuk menguji kesetaraan kelompok sehingga di dapat dua kelas yakni PAUD Kusuma 2 Denpasar sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan TK Buana Kumara Asih sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pada akhir penelitian kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol diberikan post-test kemampuan membaca permulaan dengan menggunakan rubrik penelitian observasi. Data hasil post-test dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat thitung=7,590 dan ttabel= 2,000 (pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk = 46). Oleh karena thitung 7,590> ttabel 2,000 maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan membaca permulaan antara kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui metode demonstrasi berbantuan media audio visual dengan kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Rata-rata kemampuan membaca permulaan yang diperoleh antara kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (76,48>65,13). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode demonstrasi berbantuan media audio visual berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak kelompok B TK Gugus Jempiring Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : metode demonstrasi, media audio visual, kemampuan membaca permulaan This research aimed at investigating the difference of early reading ability between group of children who was taught through demonstration method assisted by audio visual media and group of children who taught by conventional teaching. This quasi-experimental research implemented the non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was all children of group B of cluster Jempiring, Denpasar in Academic Year 2016/2017. This research applied the random sampling. The result of pre-test was analyzed to examine the equality of the groups so that there were two classes namely PAUD Kusuma 2 Denpasar as the experimental group and TK Buana Kumara Asih as the control group. At the end of the treatment, both experimental and control group were administered post-test of early reading ability which was observed by using rubric of observation assessment. The result of the post-test was analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics through independent sample t-test. Based on the findings, tobs was 7.590 and tcv was 2.000 (α = 0.05 or 5% and degree of freedom of 46). Thus, tobs was higher than tcv (7.590 > 2.000). It means that there was a significant difference of the early reading ability between group of children taught by implementing demonstration method assisted by audio visual media and group of children who taught conventionally. The average score of the early reading ability obtained by experimental group scored higher than the control group (76.48> 65.13). In conclusion, demonstration method assisted by audio visual media gave contribution on the children early reading ability of group B in kindergarten of cluster Jempiring, Denpasar in academic year 2016/2017.keyword : demonstration method, audio visual media, early reading ability
