Abstract

Lembaga Pemasyarakatan bukan hanya sebagai tempat pemberian sanksi terhadap orang yang telah melanggar hukum, tetapi juga sebagai tempat pendidikan dan tempat pembinaan, Lapas menyelenggarakan beberapa program pembinaan untuk memberikan bekal terbaik untuk narapidana ketika telah selesai menjalankan masa hukuman nya. Dalam penelitian ini juga penulis melakukan pendekatan yuridis sosiologis (empiris), yaitu hukum sebagai geja masyarakat, sebagai institusi sosial atau perilaku yang mempola. Teknis pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui metode observasi, dan metode interview (wawancara). Narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II B Cianjur di berikan kesempatan seluas-luas nya dalam menjalankan ibadah sesuai agama yang di percayai nya. Lapas Kelas II B Cianjur memiliki program unggulan yaitu Pondok Pesantren At-Taubah dan memiliki Gereja bernama Gereja Pnail. Dalam menjalankan pembinaan keagamaan ini pihak Lapas bekerja sama bersama Majelis Ulama Indonesia Kabupaten Cianjur dan para pendeta dilingkungan Kabupaten Cianjur. Dalam pembinaan terdapat beberapa hambatan yaitu over kapasitas, kurangnya fasilitas, latar belakang narapidana yang berbeda-beda dll.

Abstract

Innovation is an important factor for the survival and growth of firms. Based on the value of Competitive Industrial Performance (CPI), the innovation performance of Indonesian manufacturing companies shows a fluctuating trend, lags behind other neighboring countries and have a low level of innovation awareness. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence Indonesian manufacturing firms on product innovation. The article uses logit regression method and secondary data focusing on 1,069 Indonesian manufacturing companies in 2015. The results showed that product innovation was positively and significantly influenced by the manager's work experience, total sales, exports and R&D. From these results, it can be concluded that to improve the innovation performance of Indonesian manufacturing firms, policies should be aimed at the factors which influence product innovation significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of work discipline and motivation on the performance of civil servants in SETDA Karawang Regency. The research was conducted using descriptive and verification methods, namely: collecting, presenting, analyzing and testing hypotheses and making conclusions and suggestions. Samples were collected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling as many as 144 people. The analytical technique used is the technique of scale range analysis and path analysis with the help of the Method of Succesive Interval (MSI), The correlation coefficient between the variables of Work Discipline and Motivation obtained a value of 0.469 which means it has a fairly strong, positive and significant correlation level between Work Discipline and Motivation. The partial effect of work discipline on employee performance is 0.433, which is greater than motivation, which is 0.109. So it can be stated that work discipline contributes more to employee performance than motivation. The simultaneous effect of work discipline and motivation on employee performance is 54.2% while the remaining 45.8% is another variable that was not examined.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of motivation and work environment on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat of Karawang Regency. This study uses descriptive and verification methods, namely: collecting, presenting, analyzing and testing hypotheses and making conclusions and suggestions. Samples were collected using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling as many as 134 people. The analytical technique used is the technique of scale range analysis and path analysis with the help of the Method of Successive Interval (MSI), the Microsoft Excel 2013 computer program and the SPSS version 21 application. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done this research proves that the correlation coefficient between the motivation variable and the work environment is obtained a value of 0.432 which means it has a fairly strong, positive and significant correlation level between motivation and the work environment. The partial effect of motivation on employee performance is 0.210, smaller than the work environment, which is 0.257. So it can be stated that the work environment contributes more to employee performance than motivation. The simultaneous influence of motivation and work environment on employee performance is 46.7% while the remaining 53.3% is another variable that was not examined.
