Abstract

Poverty becomes a serious problem because it relates to the welfare of human life. Therefore, there needs to be further assessment of the factors that affect poverty. This study aims to determine the influence of Population, Open Unemployment Rate, and Human Development Index (HDI) on Poverty Level in East Java Province in 2009-2019. This research is quantitative research using secondary data obtained through the website of the Central Statistics Agency of East Java Province. The research method used is Multiple Linear Regression with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model. The results of this study prove that variable population has a significant effect on the poverty rate of East Java Province, the variable open unemployment rate has no significant effect on the poverty rate of The East Java Province, the human development index variable has a significant effect on the poverty rate of the East Java Province. Simultaneously, the Population, Open Unemployment Rate, and Human Development Index significantly affect the Poverty Rate of East Java Province.

Abstract

This purpose to analyze and find out how the influence of financial leverage and asset growth in earnings response coefficient. And uses quantitative methods from secondary data sourced from industrial company on the cosmetics & household goods sector in the Indonesian stock exchange period 2018-2020. This study sampel is selected based in on purposive addition certain criteria. Using multiple linear regression analysis performed classical assumption test, hypothesis test and coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that financial leverage has a positive and significant effect on the earnings response coefficient, while the asset growth variable has a positive but not significant effect on the earnings response coefficient. The results of this study prove that if financial leverage is high, then small changes in operating profit will greatly affect returns to shareholders. A large company size will find it easier to innovate by using its assets which will increase company profits. Investors will respond to high corporate profits by increasing the value of the earnings response coefficient.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is first to find out emotional intelligence, intellectual intelligence, and the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic, second to find out how high the influence of emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence simultaneously on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism object after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the third is to know the effect of emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence partially on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used to achieve the above objectives is an explanatory research method, the use of this method is because researchers do not only describe empirical facts found in the field, but also intend to analyze and explain the influence between variables. Subjects are human resources for tourism in Pangandaran beach with a sampling system. The results of this study, first, emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence have a significant effect simultaneously on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects. Second, emotional intelligence does not have a partially significant effect on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects. This is if interpreted in more detail, where emotional intelligence still has an influence on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects but is very small at 1.61%. Third, intellectual intelligence has a partially significant influence on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects.
