Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of economic growth, provincial minimum wage, and education level simultaneously and partially on the Labor Force Partippcipation Rate in Jambi Province in 2009-2023. The data used in this study is secondary data published in the form of a time series for 15 years starting from 2009-2023 in Jambi Province. The source of data obtained from the agency is the Central Statistic Agency (BPS) in Jambi Province. This study used multiple linear regression analysis tools, and data analysis prerequisite test using normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity tests. The hypothesis test used are the coefficients of determination (R2), F test and T test. The result of this study show simultaneously that: Economic Growth, Provincial Minimum Wage, and Education Level do not affect the Labor Force Participation Rate in Jambi Province in 2009-2023. And Partially : (1) Economic Growth does not affect the Lbor Force Participation Rate, (2) The Provincial Minimum Wage does not affect the Labor Force Participation Rate. (3) The Level of Education does not affect the Labor Force Participation Rate in Jambi Province 2009- 2023.

Abstract

This research aims first to analyze the description of BTS Brand Ambassadors towards Tokopedia Brand Images among Unbari Students. And the second is to find out the strategy for determining Brand Ambassadors to build a Brand Image In this research the author will analyze the data obtained descriptively qualitatively. The data source is Tokopedia users at Batanghari University who are research respondents. This questionnaire is in the form of closed questions where alternative answers are available from 1-5. The data collection methods used are Field Research and Library Research. The object of this research is Tokopedia which operates in the e-commerce industry. Electronic Commerce or e-commerce is all buying and selling activities or transactions carried out using electronic media (the internet). There are several examples of e-commerce that are often used in Indonesia. These include Shopee, Bukalapak, or Tokopedia. Several examples of e-commerce have now become a business area for business people. Based on a simple linear regression test, it is known that the Brand Ambassador value is 0.563, which means that product quality has a positive value for Brand Image. Based on the t test, it is known that there is a significant influence between the Brand Ambassador and the Tokopedia Brand Image, proven by the t test t count > t table (10.985> 1.66088), meaning that Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted so it can be stated that the Brand Ambassador can have a significant influence on the Brand Image. Every time there is an increase in Brand Ambassador by 1%, the Brand Image on Tokopedia will increase by 56.3%. Conclusion of research is From the results of the Likert scale, the influence of Brand Ambassadors on Tokopedia's Brand Image with an average score of 383 means that consumers assess Brand Ambassadors as having a good influence. Furthermore, the Brand Image of consumers using Tokopedia with an average score of 366 means that the Brand Image indicator is good.

Abstract

The title of this study is the influence of Leadership and Physical Work Environment on the Performance of Employees of the PUPR Service of Jambi Province. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of Leadership and Physical Work Environment on the Performance of Employees of the PUPR Service of Jambi Province. This research is included in descriptive analysis research using quantitative methods to test the hypothesis, the sample of this research amounted to 72 people using the Slovin method to determine the size or number of samples needed with the condition of a relatively large population. Department of Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR). Implementation of government affairs and public services in the field of public works and public housing which functions as guidance and implementation of spatial planning, irrigation, construction, housing and residential areas. Multiple linear regression model with results Y = 77.743 + 0.396 X1 +0.354 X2 Leadership (X1) of 0.396 and Physical Work Environment (X2) of 0.354. The conclusion of this study shows that Leadership and Physical Work Environment have a positive and significant effect. So it can be interpreted that Leadership and Physical Work Environment affect employee performance by 44.2% and the rest is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know and describe the picture of work skills, work environment and work productivity of employees at PT. Wahana Lestari Makmur Success. To determine and analyze the effect of work skills and work environment on employee work productivity partially at PT. Wahana Lestari Makmur Success. To determine and analyze the effect of work skills and work environment on employee work productivity simultaneously at PT. Wahana Lestari Makmur Success. The research methodology used is qualitative descriptive analysis method and quantitative, the type of data used is primary data with questionnaire questionnaires. The analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. This study used a population of 50 respondents. Hypothesis testing was performed using statistical f test and statistical t test. PT. Wahana Lestari Makmur Sukses was established in 2009 which has a business license for the utilization of timber forest products in industrial plantation forests that have a land area of 14,010 hectares in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The company's production is to produce the largest and leading acacia tree in Indonesia. Based on the results of the study, the average answer score of 215.8 means that work skills are valued very high by employees, the average score of respondents' answers is 215.5 means that the work environment is rated very high by employees. The average score of respondents' answers of 209.8 means that work productivity is rated high by employees. The conclusion in this study is that work skills and work environment together have a significant effect on employee work productivity at PT. Wahana Lestari Makmur. Work skills have a positive effect on employee productivity at PT. Wahana Lestari Makmur, and the work environment positively affect the work productivity of employees at PT. Wahana Lestari Makmur. Employee work productivity was able to explain the variables of work skills and work environment by 66.80%, and the remaining 33.20% was explained by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

Economic Growth is an important phenomenon for a nation, the problem of economic growth can be viewed as a long-term problem. Economic growth is the goal of the nation so that it can also increase National Development which can improve the quality of Indonesian people and society which is carried out sustainably based on national capabilities. Economic growth is an important indicator in measuring the level of community welfare. Economic growth as a measure of the economic activity of the community in generating additional income in a certain period. The purpose of this study is to test Inflation, Exchange Rates and Import Export Values and Investment on Indonesia's Economic Growth in the Period 2010-2022 simultaneously and partially. This research technique uses a quantitative descriptive approach, and the Multiple Linear Regression analysis tool is useful in determining the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. And SPSS version 25 is a tool used to analyze research data. The tests carried out are the F test for the hypothesis, the t test for the hypothesis, and the coefficient of determination (R2). Judging from its geographical location, Indonesia is located between two continents (the Australian Continent and the Asian Continent) and between two oceans (the Indian and Pacific). Indonesia is one of the largest archipelagic countries, in addition, Indonesia's land area consists of tropical rainforests, although currently Indonesia's forest area has decreased, the total area is 1,904,569 km2, with a comparison of land area of 1,811,569 km2 and water area of 93,000 km2. Based on the results of this study, simultaneously based on the F test, it is known that Inflation, Exchange Rates and Import Export Values and Investment have a significant effect on Indonesia's Economic Growth. Because the calculated F value is greater than the F table (5.217> 3.69). And partially based on the t-test, exports, imports and investment have a significant effect on economic growth because the calculated t is greater than the t table. The R Square value of 0.762 explains that the X variables exports, imports and investment affect the Y variable (economic growth) by 0.599 or 76.20%.

Abstract

The importance of human resource management to get employees withgood performance, companies must try to meet the needs of their employees. This can be done through career deveploment and employee job satisfaction. This research aims to: 1) To describe career deveploment, job satisfaction, and employee performance at PT. Korea Tomorrow & Global Jambi City; 2) To determine and analyze the influence of career deveploment and job saticfaction on employee performance at PT. Korea Tomorrow & Global Jambi City partially; 3) To determine and analyze the influence of career deveploment and job saticfaction on employee performance at PT. Korea Tomorrow & Global Jambi City simultaneously. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method with research sample using the cencus method, namely the entire population is sampled as 44 peoples at PT. Korea Tomorrow & Global Jambi City. The data collected was in the form of a questionnaire using a likert scale. To answer the research objectives, researchers used descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that the career deveploment variable with a t count > t table (2,428 > 2,01954) and the job satisfaction variable with a t count > t table (3,273 > 2,01954). The multiple linear regression value is Y=4,683+0,428X1+0,395X2+e and the Coefficient of Determination () value is 26,7%, while 73,e% can be explained by other variables not examined in this study. Therefore, Career Deveploment and Job Satisfaction partially have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Korea Tomorrow & Global Jambi City. Career Deveploment and Job Satisfaction simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Korea Tomorrow & Global Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the description of organizational culture, work ethic, work motivation and employee work productivity at PT. Makin Group and analyze the influence of organizational culture and work ethic on employee work productivity through work motivation as an intervening variable at PT. Makin Group. This type of research uses descriptive verification research. The objects of this research are organizational culture, work ethic, work motivation and employee work productivity. This research uses the PLS analysis method. Based on data processing, Organizational Culture is in the high category. Then the work ethic shows a fairly high category. Furthermore, work motivation shows in the High category. Meanwhile, work productivity shows a fairly high category. Based on the research results, organizational culture does not have a significant effect on employee work motivation. Work ethic has a significant and positive effect on employee work motivation. Organizational culture does not have a significant and negative effect on employee work productivity. Work ethic has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Organizational culture has no significant effect on work productivity with work motivation as an employee intervening variable and work ethic has a significant and positive effect on work productivity with work motivation as an employee intervening variable.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of customer satisfaction and loyalty at the Official Workshop of PT. Citra Thamrin Motor Jambi City; and to analyze the influence of satisfaction on customer loyalty at the PT Official Workshop. Image of Thamrin Motor Jambi City. To answer the research objectives, the author used theoretical studies related to the research variables. The customer satisfaction variable used in this research refers to the theory put forward by Hawkin and Lonney in Tjiptono (2014:358), with indicators 1) Conformity to expectations; 2) Interest in visiting again; and 3) Willingness to recommend. Furthermore, the customer loyalty variable used in this research refers to the theory put forward by Ngo & Nguyen (2016), with indicators 1) Continuity; 2) Recommendations; and 3) Speak positively. Apart from that, the author also looked for relevant previous research in the form of previous articles/journals to support this research. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. With a customer population of official PT. Citra Thamrin Motor in the second semester of 2023 has 1,224 customers. Meanwhile, the sample size in this study used the Slovin method with a margin of e = 10%, so that a sample of 93 was obtained. The analysis technique used the regression equation, continued by testing r Square and partial hypothesis testing with the t test. From the data processing carried out, the regression equation Y = 6.505 + 0.465.X + e is obtained. Meanwhile, from partial hypothesis testing, it has a sig value of <0.05, so it can be concluded that satisfaction has a partial positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion in this research, it can be concluded that partial customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty at the Official Workshop of PT. Image of Thamrin Motor Jambi City. Which means that the management of the Official Workshop of PT. Citra Thamrin Motor Jambi City can provide satisfaction to its customers, so this will also be followed by increasing customer loyalty.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine viral marketing, brand awareness and purchasing decisions for MS Glow Skincare Products. In discussing this problem the author uses a qualitative descriptive method by looking for information about symptoms, clearly establishing the goals to be achieved, collecting data as material for conducting research. Ms Glow was founded in 2013, founded by two strong women, namely Shandy Purnamasari and Maharani Kemala. The name Ms Glow is said to be an abbreviation of the names Shandy and Maharani Kemala. Ms Glow is also an abbreviation of the brand motto, namely Magic For Skin. The population in this study were users of MS Glow Skincare products. The sample was determined using the judgment sampling method with 100 consumers as respondents regarding viral marketing, brand awareness and purchasing decisions. The hypothesis was tested using the T test and F test. Based on the results of the linear analysis, the equation Y = 5.814 + 0.676 + 1.100 + e was obtained. The value of the F test calculation (X1 and X2) was 149.011 and the R square value was 0.754 or 75.4%, while the remaining 26.6% was influenced by other factors. The conclusion of this research is that viral marketing and brand awareness have a positive and significant influence, both simultaneously and partially, on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance using multiple linear regression methods. This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of the variables of motivation and work discipline on employee performance in an institution or organization. The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive analysis method. Muaro Jambi Regional Secretariat is part of the Jambi Province Region, formed based on Law Number 54 of 1999 as an expansion of Batanghari Regency. Address of the Regional Secretariat of Muaro Jambi: Bukit Baling, Sekernan Sub-district, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province, 36381.Muaro Jambi Regency originally consisted of 7 sub-districts and 120 villages bordered by East Tanjung Jabung and West Tanjung Jabung Regencies to the north and South Sumatra Province to the west. Now, Muaro Jambi Regency has 11 sub-districts, 5 villages, and 150 villages. The sample used in this study amounted to 53 employees. The data collected were analyzed using multiple linear regression to see the relationship between the independent variables (motivation and work discipline) and the dependent variable (employee performance). This study also used ANOVA test to test the significance of the regression model. Based on the information obtained, it is known that the average employee performance, motivation, and work discipline are 43.79, 43.08, and 41.11, respectively, with varying standard deviations. The regression analysis results show a very strong relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable, with an R value of 0.955 and an R² value of 0.911. The ANOVA test results indicate that the regression model used is significant, with an F value of 288.313. The regression coefficients for the motivation variable are 0.319 and for the work discipline variable are 0.326, which indicates that both have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.000. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that motivation and work discipline have a significant impact on employee performance. These findings support the hypothesis that increasing motivation and work discipline will improve employee performance. The practical implications of this research highlight the importance of organizations enhancing motivation and work discipline through various incentives and supportive policies to improve overall employee performance.
