Abstract

More dense motor vehicle on the highway will cause a jam. situation where there is accumulation of a motor vehicle was at the time in traffic lights or also called traffic light. Intersection have time to switch the traffic lights that remain in each lane felt less effective because each lane has a different traffic density. Determination of the working area at the intersection of Matraman the survey results for a number of locations in Central Jakarta around each intersection. With data collection for some time with the details of the current condition of the morning, afternoon and evening in every weekday obtained a detailed picture of differences in real conditions. Furthermore, by applying the ISO 7391 (2008) on the specification of street lighting in Urban Area and the rule of PU on the highway, the traffic volume average daily DGH DGH, as well as the use of algorithms Greedy acquired unit quantities dead time live traffic light then can determine the distance sensor placement. Abstract

Manpower needs of the company will be reliable and quality from year to year is always increasing. Where the requirements in the workforce is not only in the field of academic, non-academic ability also is of no less importance after the alumni entering the workforce. Therefore, STT-PLN is required to produce a qualified workforce and have high competitiveness in their field. In order to obtain maximum results is then, in need of harmony between education and field of work of the graduates as well as the necessary harmony between the academic ladder STT-PLN graduates with non-academic level is the main requirement in obtaining employment. To obtain this information then dibutukan further research on the level of competence of alumni with the working world markets. This research will use Fuzzy Clustering Means clustering method (FCM) to obtain information about the competencies needed in the world of work. The number of clusters formed is as much as three clusters in which, of the three clusters that have been produced will find the best cluster. The best member of the cluster will be a priority competencies that will be applied in the field of learning in STT-PLN. From the calculation of the index XB it can be concluded that the cluster 3 is the best cluster. Where members of the cluster 3 may be a priority concern for decision makers in determining policy on the application of learning methods to the lecturer / lecturer / educator in applying methods of learning to the learning process of students not only gain competency in the academic field but also in the field non-academic indirectly. Because based on survey results that competency is a point which is not less important in addition to competency in the academic field.

Abstract

The voting process conducted service today is still done manually so that it becomes a decision to utilize the electronic voting (e-voting) processing services. E-voting greatly reduce human control and direct their influence on this process. Provide an opportunity to resolve some of the problems that have long election but also provide a series of new concerns. Problems faced by end users in the selection is there are so many choices of software processing electronic voting services based on Information Communication Technology (ICT). Decision-making, essentially a form of election of the various alternatives of action or multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) that can be selected. In this research, decision support system (DSS) is used to select the type of service software processing electronic voting. The method used is the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) using "Expert Choice 2000TM" software computer. And aims to make decisions that can help make certain parties to take the best decision in choosing the type of software processing services electronic voting. From the data processing is concluded that the first sequence is Online voting, ExpressVote second, Simply voting third, and Ballot Online fourth.

Abstract

Printing activity is carried out in a printing business entity in doing custom production is obtained, after it is done printing to meet pelanggan needs customized with options specified. The printed form of business cards, banners, letters Yasin, invitations and others in the business process run using documents such as the memorandum, permit, register printed matter and the income statement. In fulfilling pelanggan orders is often the case due to frequent delays in the printing of the memorandum were tucked, difficult in checking the repayment when the reservation is made and the time of the return of printed material that could not be regulated properly. The purpose of this study to detect delays and overcome the difficulties in checking the repayment and can be made a more detailed report to be able to support control and data revenues. The methodology used by the UML (Unified Modeling Language) with a mix of fishbone in determining problems, programming languages ​​with Visual.net and database built on MySQL.

Abstract

Flexible pavement with Cement Treated Base is a flexible pavement that use cement as a binder base course on. One of the roads that use a flexible pavement with Cement Treated Base Jalan Source Cangkring - Wonojoyo Gurah District of Kediri. But the application of pavement Cement Treated Base on the road section Source Cangkring - Wonojoyo need for reconsideration in view of these roads are local roads that have traffic volume is very low. In this study, flexible pavement with Cement Treated Base will be redesigned using flexible pavement with untreated Base Component Analysis Method of Highways. Based on the thickness of flexible pavement design calculation Base untreated gained 5 cm thick surface layer, layers of foundation over 20 cm and 10 cm below the base course. While the cost calculation, untreated flexible pavements Base requires a budget of Rp 1,584,452,093.92 and flexible pavement with Cement Treated Base requires a budget of Rp 1,889,041,526.00 by a margin of 16.12% on the same road. Judging from the results of the calculation, flexible pavements Base untreated cheaper and more effective for class III roads such as the road-Wonojoyo Source Cangkring Gurah District of Kediri.

Abstract

Iron ore as a raw material of steel reinforcement in concrete can not endeavor to increase production because it is a natural resource that is not renewable. To overcome dependence consumption of reinforcing steel in the concrete is then used altrenatif other material as the reinforcing steel that is easy, inexpensive to obtain and resistant to corrosion, namely in the form of reinforcement of rattan sticks. It is intended that the natural resources we have can be reused to the maximum. This study uses a cane kind seel as reinforcement concrete beams. Tests conducted by the method of loading one point, cracks are expected in this test is failed bending. Reinforcement made from 1 piece of iron reinforcement and 2 rattan wrapped reinforcement wire reinforcement bendrat round face, it is expected that the adhesion reinforcement with concrete stronger. Testing was done by testing reinforced concrete beam flexural capacity using a type of reinforcement rattan cane plain size OD OD 20 mm and 30 mm. With the quality of the concrete used for fc '= 18.675 MPa. The test specimen concrete beam flexural capacity was only 28 days with the test method fourth point loading system.

Abstract

Sampai dengan saat ini, penyelenggaraan jaringan komunikasi satelit masih menghadapai berbagai tantangan dalam implementasinya. Tantangan tersebut antara lain mengenai besarnya biaya penyelenggaraan, kapasitas transmisi yang terbatas serta jaringan satelit yang relatif rentan terhadap redaman, obstacle dan interferensi yang akan mempengaruhi performansi jaringan Berbagai macam teknik digunakan untuk mengurangi keterbatasan tersebut, dan salah satunya adalah menggunakan teknik ACM (Adaptive Coding and Modulation). Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM) merupakan teknologi yang dapat mengubah modulasi dan Forward Error Correction (FEC) dari suatu link secara otomatis, untuk mengkompensasi perubahan kondisi link. Perubahan kondisi link ini dapat berupa kondisi cuaca, sebagai contoh hujan, atau juga perubahan frekuensi radio di lingkungan (RF), seperti perubahan level, dan interferensi.Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM) memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan availabilitas jaringansatelit dan juga dapat mengoptimalkan bandwidth yang tersedia sehingga dapat menghasilkan kecepatan data yang maksimal. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari cara kerja sistem Adaptive Coding and Modulation, hubungan dan pengaruh implementasi sistem Adaptive Coding and Modulationterhadap performansi jaringan.

Abstract

The application of lean concepts in manufacturing have often heard success. And it should also be used in service industry. The use of lean concept was expected to make the process of work will more effective and efficient. The purpose of this study was to analyze and propose improvements to work processes that have been conducted so far, so it will obtain a series of work within their lean principles, namely: value, value stream, flow, pull, and continuous improvement. One main task of the Service Control at PT. XYZ Tbk was the handling of complaints about the comfort of the employees in the work. Based on data for the year 2011, complaints regarding power supply (lighting) reached 53.2%. Based on the mapping process carried out on the handling of complaints lighting problem, obtained the total time it takes as much as 109 minutes. To capture the value of internal customers, distributed questionnaires to 50 respondents. The selected sample is the department that is in the halls of PT XYZ Tbk are then represented by a person who assessed understanding of the complaint process. After improvement with lean concepts, the completion time of the complaint obtained change lamp replacement to 58 minutes, or increased by 53.2%.

Abstract

The Antena is one of instrument from electronic’s communication which very usable to transmit the radio and audio sound wave. There are many basic materials of antenna which can usable, the among others iron, brass, copper, aluminum. All of the basic materials are the materials which can be conductor. From this research, All of the materials to make an antenna has been studied previously can make the optimalization(1) of radio’s wave. The metode to know that is make the antenna with use all of the basic materials. But only one material can be used as be base antenna’s material. That’s alumunium, that’s lightweight and malleable. Some parameters which follow in use of antenna there is on alumunium can be solve, known and found. Among others thing, the shape and surface parameters, impedance, transmit’s power, receive power, and SWR antenna.

Abstract

Document exam for midterm and final exam is one of the very important document because it is used by lecturers to evaluate the lecture material for Teaching and Learning Activities. ICT Laboratory Integrated Budi Luhur University as one of the operator of the test lab at the University of Budi Luhur who has responsibility for securing documents exams during the process of mid term and final exam, so in practice there is requiring an application to security documents such as Cryptography Web Based Application using algorithms AES-128 on Lab ICT Integrated Budi Luhur University. Method that is used to develop this application is using Waterfall model, this application used PHP with MySQL database. The research objective is to implement the algorithm AES-128 to encrypt and decrypt files exam on Lab ICT Integrated Budi Luhur University, securing document exam file that can not be read by anyone other than the owner of the file and the person who has access to the file. The conclusion of this study prove that the method algorithm AES-128 algorithm is excellent in secure files, as well as by the application of safeguards files, documents exams more awake, and confidential and the decryption process, the results of the file content decryption did not change from the original file.
