The problem of data size is an important problem in the data exchange process. In particular, text files are relatively large files. Large data sizes create constraints for data management, such as the need for large storage space and long transmission times. To overcome these problems it is necessary to apply compression techniques. Users can import text files to be compressed as well as choose a compression algorithm. In this research, Elias Delta Code and Punctured Elias Code algorithms are applied to compress text files and then compare their performance based on the set parameters. After implementing and testing the system, it can be seen that the Elias Delta Code algorithm has better performance than the Punctured Elias Code algorithm in text file compression with the final value using the Exponential Comparison Method, the Elias Delta Code algorithm with a final value of 6.526 while the Punctured Elias Code algorithm 6.653, So the higher the total value obtained, the higher the amount of work done by the algorithm. Based on this analysis, the Elias Delta Code Algorithm which is the algorithm has the best performance in text file compression.

Recent technological developments affect file sizes, especially video format files. The video file is large enough to use a lot of storage space, the longer the video duration and the better the video quality, the larger the video file size. Large amounts of data also require a lot of storage space. To do this, we need solutions such as the manufacture of large-capacity storage media. But in the future, the video file size will increase and the video quality will increase, so this solution becomes less effective. Therefore, additional solutions are needed to save storage media space and reduce the size of the data stored. Reducing memory usage and file size without affecting the information in the file can be overcome by compression. Video compression is a data compression process that is carried out on video files to reduce the size of the video file so that it can be stored or sent quickly and efficiently. In the comparison of the two Run Length Encoding algorithms with the Burrows-Wheeler Transform algorithm as follows, the Run Length Encoding algorithm works well on video compression and can achieve very high compression ratios, while the Burrows-Wheeler Transform algorithm concludes that the data size is not reduced. at all, but undergoes a data change or transformation.

Graphic designer recruitment problem is faced by SS Embroidery, that is, according to several different criteria and different evaluation weights, it is difficult to make a decision to determine the graphic designer problem when the evaluation process is objective, which leads to the final decision. Therefore, to overcome the problems faced by companies in SS embroidery, a decision support system is needed to select prospective graphic designers. When choosing a method, it is necessary to use the additive ratio assessment method (ARAS). The system will obtain a ranking decision based on each alternative choice based on a number of predetermined criteria. The alternative with the most weights is the recommended alternative. To realize the decision support system, a decision support system application program is designed. Designed using the Visual Basic 2008 application, which is designed only for user convenience, through the application of this decision support system, it is expected to facilitate the recruitment of prospective graphic designers at SS Embroidery so that the selection of graphic designers is expected to get the best results from the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. It is hoped that the ARAS method can provide assistance to the company in determining the recruitment of graphic designers. The results of the Decision Support System for the recruitment of graphic designers are Alternative A6 with a value of 1,307 on behalf of "Setiawan".

School is a building or institution for learning and teaching as well as a place to give and receive lessons. Each school is led by a principal, and the principal is assisted by his deputy. Basically, every agency must have a leader to lead and manage an organization/agency so that the agency can run well and be useful for the state and society. School progress cannot be separated from the influence of the ability of the leader or principal in managing all the resources that exist in the school. The selection of the principal is very important for Nurul Amaliyah Private Vocational School because the principal is the highest leader who is very influential on the progress of the school. However, at the Nurul Amaliyah Private Vocational School, the principals were chosen inefficiently because most of those elected did not meet certain requirements. So that the process of selecting the principal of Nurul Amaliyah Private Vocational School did not go well and did not meet expectations. One way to overcome the election of school principals is by implementing a decision support system. The application of a decision support system in the selection of school principals is very influential because the application of the SPK can make it easier for schools to select school principals according to predetermined criteria. To make it easier to solve this problem using a method. The method that is suitable for use is the Promethee method, because the calculation is carried out in several stages and ranking, where the process is carried out by comparing in detail the value of one candidate with another so that the results are quite accurate. Promethee is a sequencing method in multi-criteria analysis, simplicity, clarity and stability. The use of scores in the outranking relationship is presumed in that this is a ranking method that is quite simple in concept and application compared to other methods for multicriteria analysis. With the application of the Promethee method, it can help in selecting the right school principal, because the calculation is done in several stages and ranking, where the process is done by comparing in detail the value of one candidate with another so that the results are quite accurate.

In the current digital era, the use of data compression technology is very important because the use of data in electronic form is faster to exchange information. Large file sizes require a lot of storage space. Rich text format (rtf) text files have a large size compared to other types of text files with extensions. Because the file size with the extension .rtf is too large, the data transmission process takes a long time. One of the techniques required for this problem is to perform compression. Compression is the process of resizing data to a smaller size. The algorithms used in this study are the Taboo Codes and Yamamoto’s Recursive Code algorithms, each of which has advantages and disadvantages. After the two algorithms are compressed, then a comparison of the two algorithms is carried out using the Exponential method. The exponential comparison method is one of the methods used to determine the priority order of decision alternatives with several criteria. The final result of the comparison process with the exponential method is 7,203, which is Yamamoto’s Recursive Code algorithm. So that the algorithm becomes the fastest and most effective algorithm in compressing text files, this is because the smaller the total value obtained, the less effort is made by the algorithm in compression.

In this digital era, everything is digitally based and many applications have been created to make work easier or serve as a means of entertainment. Some applications that exist today have a database as a place to store data. Currently the database that is still often used is MySQL, this is because MySQL is an open source database server application. The data in the database is called records, the more records stored, the larger the size of the database. Data compression is the process of encoding information using bits or other information-carrying units that are less than representative of data that is not encrypted by a particular encoding system test results on the system that the Record file size is smaller after compression. The development of remote sensing technology offers convenience in mapping an area. This can be seen from the use of digital maps which are very often used for mapping an area. Currently, remote sensing satellite sensor systems can operate in multispectral mode and panchromatic mode simultaneously. Remote sensing satellites are capable of producing multispectral and panchromatic images with high spatial resolution, but the resulting panchromatic images have a higher spatial resolution than the multispectral images produced by these remote sensing satellites. This is the background for designing a multispectral image fusion application and a panchromatic image by applying Wang Bovik's algorithm method.To produce images that have high spatial resolution with low spatial resolution with panchromatic images with high spatial resolution so that an output image will be produced which has the advantages possessed by multispectral images and the advantages possessed by panchromatic images. To solve the problem of this image fusion application, the authors use an algorithm method wang bovik. This method is expected to be able to solve the problem of image fusion for image sharpening in image fusion applications. In this thesis, we will discuss how to create image fusion applications using the Brovey transformation method using the Visual Basic programming language. This application was built using Microsoft Visual Studio.net 2008 as an editor to edit the program.

Good management in conducting business trips has a positive effect on employees who take business trips and also on the smooth operation of the company. There are so many business travel destinations that are financed directly by the company such as: Business visits, parties, general meetings, educational and training activities as well as socialization. The method used by the author in this study is the Waterfall method which consists of: Requirements, Design, implementation, Verification and Maintenance. The result of this research is to produce an information system for official travel orders that will assist employees in the process of submitting a letter of assignment and the process of calculating official travel costs.
