Abstract

Text files or text data is one component that is very important for each person as well as for each agency in the form of printed or multi-media. Where files or data can store some important things in it, the greater the size of a file or data the greater the storage media that will be needed. By looking at the compression requirements of the file or data, there is a need for compression or compression on the data, so that it can reduce usage in the external storage media space, minimize bandwidth requirements, speed up the data transmission process, and compress the ratio higher than the data results before compression. The compression process is done to solve problems in storage media, where the algorithm for compression uses the sequitur algorithm.

Abstract

Expert System (Expert System) is an information system that contains knowledge from an expert who has the knowledge, research, experience, special methods, and the ability to apply certain talents in their fields in solving problems that are applied to a system so that it can be used for consultation. Expertise (expertise) is extensive and specific knowledge obtained through a series of training, reading, and experience. Expert systems can also be used to help an expert or the general public to solve their problems in certain cases. One of the factors that causes failure is the maximum application of information technology. One of the uses of this technology is the use of expert systems. Given the importance of the value of a result to be saved because it is very useful for buyers, it is necessary to create a knowledge-based expert system that uses the Sugeno fuzzy method. Expert systems should be equipped with facilities that can provide certainty about system output. Many ways can be used to calculate the value of system output uncertainty. However, in this study it is necessary to make a knowledge-based expert system that uses the Sugeno fuzzy method by calculating the value to find the value with the previous case. Based on the tests carried out, it can be seen that fuzzy is able to produce the response as expected, namely being able to determine the area that has land suitable for building a housing complex.

Abstract

Habits of unhealthy eating patterns can have an adverse effect on health, and can be at risk of disease, in this case cardiovascular system disease. Laypeople often mistakenly think of common symptoms that are felt as symptoms of heart disease and often guess without having knowledge clear about the disease of the cardiovascular system. Expert systems are currently highly developed, where expert systems can provide knowledge designed to model the ability to solve problems like an expert. An expert system was developed in order to be able to assist the tasks of experts with the help of a system that has knowledge, without having to have an expert working in that place. One method used in expert systems is the case based reasoning method. The case based reasoning method is one method that focuses on solving problems in knowledge from previous cases. But in knowing the value of certainty based on the similarity of symptoms with the previous case, the certainty factor method was used.

Abstract

The selection of the best doctors at the Bhakti Medan public hospital has been done manually by assessing the number of patients who can be cured and from the opinions of the nurses who accompanied the doctor. However, this method cannot judge a doctor who works with professionals and has good quality. Therefore to be able to have a professional and quality doctor to improve the quality of health services. One effort to spur doctors' performance is by giving awards as the best doctor. One method that can be used to select a good doctor is the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. The process that will be carried out in this study is to determine the criteria used to determine the best doctor based on performance evaluation in conducting health services and collecting data it is then calculated using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method so that it can determine the best doctor optimally.

Abstract

String matching is a string processing which is the main requirement in obtaining information in the text that helps humans find information faster because it has an algorithm for searching the string. Search algorithms have advantages and disadvantages in search, matching, speed, accuracy, and others. By performing a performance comparison analysis, it can be seen the speed and accuracy in the search process time and word matching and the percentage of memory used in one process of each of these algorithms. The colussi algorithm is a search that has been specifically determined by the system or algorithm where the colussi algorithm is an improvement of the boyer moore algorithm which is a right-to-left search while simon algorithm is a classic algorithm that is widely known as a method that can identify local similarities ) that is the process of making two nucleotide local sequences or protein sequences where similarities between the two sequences will be seen.

Abstract

Hotel location search system for visitors to natural attractions. The hotel is a haven for visitors who are traveling, tourists must look for a hotel that is closest to where the object they are visiting. Searching for hotels makes visitors need to determine the location of the hotel closest to the tourist object. In this study a hotel location search system was built based on the shortest route with the Dijkstra algorithm method. From several methods in accordance with the search for the shortest path is to use the Dijkstra method. Algorithm method is one algorithm that is effective in providing the shortest route from a location search Hotels for tourist visitors. Why choose the Dijksta Algorithm method because the Selection method is more optimal and easier to understand than the model

Abstract

In the process of making Pliek U, there must be a maker who does not make Pliek U with the right time so that the nutritional content of Pliek U becomes unhealthy, that is containing bad bacteria. make Pliek U containing Lactic Acid Bacteria that have the potential as Probiotics. This study uses the Tsukamoto method with the rule IF ... THEN, in the process of knowing probiotics by inputting the process of making Pliek U so that the application will produce the Lactic Acid Bacteria contained in Pliek U as Probiotics or Not. The purpose of making this application is to be able to help fans or makers of Pliek U find out the types of healthy bacteria produced by Pliek U and after Pliek U research is safe to consume if the time of crushing and fermentation time is right.

Abstract

Searching for the shortest distance is a problem for people who are experiencing fractures or dislocations, because in an emergency like this there will be a big panic that often victims will experience fatal things due to delays in handling, so often the victim's family looks for the shortest path to achieving the first treatment, such as the treatment of kem fractures is one of the first examples of treatment in the treatment of fractures, the efficiency of time and cost is needed in an emergency like this, so as to minimize the fatal things that will happen to victims of fractures. One of the most effective ways in an emergency like this is to search for the fastest alternative route to get to the treatment of Kem fractures. The shortest distance search application made, based on the Bellman Ford method. The bellman ford method is an algorithm that calculates the shortest path from a single point source to find another node. The results of this study are to be able to find the closest point of treatment for Kem fracture to minimize fatalities that occur to the victim, so that the victim can be treated immediately and get treatment.

Abstract

The selection of regional secretaries, has problems, namely the system of selecting regional secretaries occurs, there are elements of superior officials and proximity or reciprocal political services, and it is often found that there is an alleged bribery process so that the regional secretary chosen is not as expected. To overcome this problem, a Decision Support System is needed by using the MOORA method (Multi Objective Optimization On The Base Of Ratio Analysis) which can assist the Office of the Karo Regent in selecting regional secretaries. With the adoption of a decision support system using the MOORA method simplifies and speeds up the process of selecting regional secretaries. So that the selection of regional secretaries is more effective and efficient.

Abstract

PT. Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia Medan is one company that is engaged in producing and distributing packaging beverage products to various regions in need. PT. Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia Medan is in desperate need of forecasting drug sales to increase profits and avoid the occurrence of fatigue or lack of bottled beverage supplies. The parameters or alpha used in forecasting the sales volume of packaged drinks are alpha (α) = 0.1, alpha (α) = 0.3, alpha (α) = 0.5, alpha (α) = 0.7, alpha (α) = 0.9. Single Expontial Smoothing makes a comparison in determining the alpha value, by searching for the alpha value in a trial / random manner to find alpha that has the minimum error with a search using the MSE (Mean Square Error) method. Then the forecasting results that have alpha with the least amount of error value that will be chosen as forecasting for the next period. Expontial Smoothing can only predict one period in the future. At the sample testing stage, it was found that the forecasting results of packaging beverage sales volume for 2017 were 11688380, this result was obtained from data from 2013 - 2016. For testing applications POMQM testing software was used.
