Abstract

STMIK BUDI DARMA is a college in the developing city. The number of college students makes it difficult to handle student activity data processing. The emergence of problems - often implementation problems arise, one of which is the number of non-active students. The high level of success of students and the low level of failure can reflect the quality of higher education. Research has been done statistically for this. Abstract

The library is the center of the gathering of various information and knowledge both in the form of books and other recording materials to meet the needs of the learning process. In addition to storing books, the library also stores final assignment documents or thesis of students who have graduated from the college. This description can usually be used as a reference material for students in preparing the final assignment. The more years the number of thesis increases so that it requires a storage space the wider. The problem that is often faced by students is that the thesis search process needed as reference material takes a long time. From these problems it is necessary to make innovations by utilizing information technology. Mobile phones are not only used to call and send messages, but cellphones also have various other functions such as internet access, audio and video player media, and so on. Android is one of the operating systems for mobile phones among the development of other mobile operating systems such as Windows Mobile, Symbian, Blackberry OS and others. In this study, we will build a repository application for an Android-based thesis search that is built by applying the Fuzzy String Matching algorithm. Fuzzy String Matching Algorithm is one of the string search methods that uses the approach process to the pattern of the string being searched for. Search for the same string and also the string that approaches the other strings collected in a container or dictionary. By utilizing the Fuzzy String Matching algorithm in the thesis search application on informatics engineering, it is expected to be able to search quickly and efficiently.

Abstract

Hospitals are an important part of health and are related to someone's dead life. First aid in pawing at someone who is sick is very important. Then an optimization system is needed to help patients find the shortest route to the hospital so that patients who are sick can be more efficient. This study uses the Bee Colony algorithm because it has an efficient optimization capability to solve the problem of finding the shortest route. The results obtained from this study, namely the Bee Colony algorithm can be used to find the shortest route. The more bees released the greater the chance of finding the shortest route.

Abstract

ATAKNAS North Sumatra in determining the best employee selection based on several assessment factors. The assessment factors consist of attitudes, absences, experience in the field of construction experts, attractive appearance, equivalent graduates, and able to improve good performance and be able to compete. For the sake of work effectiveness in performance appraisal, appropriate decision making is needed. Therefore, software is made that can make a decision to report on employee values. This software is built on the basis of a decision support system that has the ability to assess employee performance using the Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method. The MFEP method is a quantitative method that uses weighting systems. Decision making is done by giving subjective and intuitive considerations, weighing various factors that have an important influence on alternative choices.

Abstract

Taekwondo is one of the sports in martial arts originating from Korea. Someone who wants to take part in a taekwondo competition usually has to take part in the selection held. The selection process in determining the selection of taekwondo athletes is still having problems. In the field there are still obstacles in the selection of athletes caused by systems that still use manual or conventional methods. Apart from that decision making cannot see the criteria in achievement together. The shortcomings in the athlete selection process are the existence of fraudulent selection of trained athletes, as well as the slow process of determining the assessment of selected athletes. To solve the problem, a decision support system is designed to increase the effectiveness of decision making and produce optimal decisions. In this decision support system the method that can be used is the TOPSIS method. Assessment criteria used as a reference for assessment are technique, tactics, mental, physical, age, reflexes and flexibility. The criteria will be a reference for obtaining the final score.

Abstract

The word Paritta in Paliatau Pirit, literally means "full of protection". Buddhas on various occasions with the holy pali language compose Paritta or Pirit, there must be a misunderstanding that equates Paritta as a mysterious blessing or mantra, but actually there are genuine advocates that are ethical and contain philosophical values from Buddhism, which are related to aspects of the Dhamma. And the Tripitaka is a Buddhist scripture which is a collection of sermons, statements, parables, and conversations that the Buddha had done with his students and followers. Likewise with the Paritta Suci part of the Book of Tripitaka which is very necessary in the search for verses from the word Paritta Suci. Making it easier for users to read from the book. For that we need an application that can help users in translating a language that is easy to carry and can be used anytime and anywhere. The application is in the form of an android application that can be installed on a mobile phone. The book Tripitaka application requires a search process that supports the performance of the application so that the search process can shorten the time in the search itself. In this study Approximate Levensthein Distance Algorithm is an algorithm that can be used to calculate distance differences between two strings. Distance or distance is the minimum number of delete operations, insert or substitution needed to change the origin string (s) to the target string (t). And Algorithm Approximate string matching is matching strings with the basis of similarity in terms of writing (number of characters, arrangement of characters in the document). So that it can help users of the application in searching for words from the book.
