Focus and Scopes INTEK Jurnal Informatika dan Teknologi Informasi (INTEK) is a peer-reviewed Journal of Information and Computer Sciences published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. This journal publishes two times a year (May and November). INTEK is a media for researchers, academics, and practitioners who are interested in the field of Computer Science and wish to channel their thoughts and findings. The articles contained are the results of research, critical, and comprehensive scientific study which are relevant and current issues covered by the journals. Abstract

In the last ten years, both academics and researchers have been interested in conducting re-search on smart city and its aspects. The results of their research are focused on one point that the leap in information technology that significantly influences the architecture, infrastructure and community patterns of information needs is fast and can be accessed anywhere. This para-digm gave birth to the concept of smart city, which is a well planned city, cost-effective commu-nity services and good governance for the welfare of society.This study aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the smart city concept that depends on geographical, environmental, economic and social constraints. This paradigm provides an overview of the six dimensions of smart city characteristics with aspects of smart living, smart mobility, smart people, smart economy, smart environment, smart government. Modern city life is part of the community in fulfilling their daily needs. People are accustomed to high mobility between cities because of work, entertainment, education, the phenomenon of urbanization and depletion of certain resources.Thanks to the development of information and communication technology, the concept of smart city now provides an opportunity for people to enjoy services, make decisions, find something new and experience many things to improve the quality of life in the smart city era.

Abstract

Excellent service is the best form of service to consumers to feel satisfied. The purpose of excellent service is that consumers or prospective consumers feel underserved and in terms of agencies or companies will increase consumer confidence. Muhammadiyah University Purworejo (UMP) as an educational institution has prospective consumers, namely the millennial generation. The habit of the millennial generation in accessing information is by digitally searching. To access more detailed information, they are accustomed to asking through the texting method via chat. Therefore, the University needs to provide a texting application that can answer questions anytime and with a short reply time.The chat application developed in the form of chatbots.The chat-bot application development begins with studying general questions that are often asked by prospective students. The combination of question words and keywords from each question. From the keywords that are prepared an automatic answer that contains information that the prospective student wants to access. In addition, in each answer a key for information related information will be provided. The results of the design and development of the Chatbot application, namely the implementation of Chatbot can be used as a substitute for the role of humans in providing excellent service. This chatbot can provide quick and complete answers. In terms of the excellent service factor, this Chatbot can fulfill the attitude, attention, action, ability and accountability factors.

Abstract

The development of information technology has currently been growing rapidly and provided many benefits in various fields, one of which is the library. The application of information tech-nology to the library is usually called a digital library (digital library). Digital library makes it easy for users to obtain information sources easily. Users can quickly search for book data in-formation, find out the number of books available, makes direct borrowing etc. Libraries in a university support the implementation of education, and teaching, research and community ser-vice. The library in the university has a collection of reference books and research reports that are always obtained every year.The presence of smartphone technology makes it easier for users to be comfortable, fast and easy in completing their work. However, there are difficulties which have to deal with while the display interface of a web-based information system does not support to be displayed on smartphone screen. This has an impact on the difficulties encountered by users in accessing the information. Currently, the digital libraries at Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo are web-based. But it has obstacles with display interface which does not support to be displayed in mobile version. Besides that there are menus that are still not categorized correctly. In order to improve access and give users easiness, this research made the design of a mobile-based Digital Library.

Abstract

Nowadays, the computer technology is growing rapidly. This has a positive impact, many people can be helped by the computer. In addition, the types of jobs available are in-creasing. But, there are also negative impacts, for example the computer crimes are growing dramatically. The komputer crimes will be handled where the place of computer crime occurred at the District Level (POLSEK). The problem occurs is when police agen-cies at the District Level do not have tools to investigate digital evidence. So the proce-dure to handle this computer crime is send the physical evidence to the Regional Level (POLDA) to be acquired and analyzed.It will make the digital evidence vulnerable to be acquired and manipulated when the physical evidence is sent to the Regional Police Agency by people who do not have au-thority. It is necessary to renew the procedure for handling digital evidence in the case of a computer crime and integrated system between them.This study will produce a procedure for handling digital evidence through an integrated monitoring system between POLSEK and POLDA agencies. It is hoped that through this monitoring system, authenticity can be maintained and the digital evidence can be ac-cepted by judge in the court.

Abstract

Chronic kidney failure is one of the deadly diseases in many countries, including in In-donesia. This disease has a prevalence value increasing with the increasing population. Method that can be used to predict chronic kidney failure in the form of classification trees, namely C5.0. The purpose of this study is to apply the C5.0 to the classification of chronic kidney failure and to calculate the accuracy. Method C5.0 is a classification method in selecting its attributes to be processed using gain information. The independ-ent variables that are influential in this study are erythrocytes, urea, creatine, and plate-lets. The results of this study are in the form of a classification tree for chronic kidney failure. The C5.0 method produces 6 classification segments with an accuracy value of 99.3%.
