Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberdayakan petani menjadi produsen bibit kentang unggul bermutu tinggi melalui alih teknologi bioseluler (kultur jaringan tanaman), sehingga petani dapat memenuhi kebutuhan bibitnya sendiri. Melalui kemampuannya untuk memproduksi bibit kentang bermutu, maka akan tercipta kegiatan di sektor penangkaran bibit kentang dan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani. Kegiatan terdiri atas tiga subprogram. Subprog¬ram pertama adalah produksi dan distribusi propagul kentang (umbi mini/G0) kepada petani penangkar (tahun pertama). Subprogram kedua adalah produksi umbi propagul kentang G1 – G2 (Tahun kedua dan ketiga). Subprogram ketiga adalah sosialisasi, pembinaan, dan demonstrasi plot (setiap tahun). Kegiatan ini merupakan kemitraan antara Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Andalas, Fakultas Pertanian UMMY Solok, Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Solok, dan Kelompok Tani Harapan Baru sebagai penggguna teknologi. Kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan pada Tahun I (2017): 1) perbanyakan planlet kentang, 2) pembuatan screen house untuk aklimatisasi dan produksi umbi G0/G1, 3) workshop/sosialisasi penangkaran benih kentang, 4) sekolah lapang produksi umbi kentang G0/G1, 5) pelatihan penguatan kelembagaan petani penangkar kentang, 6) pelatihan sertifikasi benih kentang, dan 7) pelatihan pembuatan pestisida hayati. Kata Kunci: Bibit kentang, Penangkar, Bioseluler ABSTRACT The purpose of this activity was to empower farmers to become producers of elite potato seeds through the transfer of bioseluler technology (plant tissue culture), so that farmers can meet the needs of their own seeds. Through its ability to produce quality potato seeds, it will create activities in the breeding sector of potato seeds and can increase farmers' income. The activity consists of three subprograms. The first subprogram was the production and distribution of potato propagules (mini tubers/G0) to the farmer breeder (first year). The second subprogram was the production of potato propagules G1 - G2 (second and third year). The third subprogram is socialization, guidance, and demonstration plots (every year). This activity was a partnership between the Faculty of Agriculture Andalas University, Faculty of Agriculture UMMY Solok, Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Solok, and Harapan Baru Farmer Group as a technology user. (1) propagation of potato plantlets, 2) screen house preparation for acclimatization and tuber production G0 / G1, 3) workshop / socialization of potato seed breeding, 4) field school of potato tuber production G0 / G1 , 5) training of institutional strengthening of potato breeder farmers, 6) certification training of potato seeds, and 7) training on making biological pesticides. Abstract

ABSTRAK Desa Sikakap berada di Kecamatan Sikakap, Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai yang terletak di pulau Pagai Utara dengan potensi perikanan yang sangat tinggi. Salah satu sumber penghasilan bagi masyarakat di desa tersebut adalah usaha ikan kering asin. Selama ini proses pengeraingan hanya mengandalkan energi matahari saja. Namun, karena letaknya yang dikelilingi lautan, maka iklim di wilayah ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh angin musim. Curah hujan berkisar antara 2.500 - 4.700 mm/tahun dengan jumlah hari hujan antara 132 - 267 hari hujan per-tahun. Oleh sebab itu perlu diupayakan adanya teknologi pengeringan dalam mengatasi tingkat curah hujan yang tinggi tersebut. Disamping itu, dalam pengelolaan organisasi khalayak sasaran yang bergabung dalam Kelompok Jaring Apung (KJA) Selat Sikakap dan KJA Saruso Mudo, perlu ditingkatkan kemampuan anggotanya agar dapat menjalankan usaha dengan baik. Melalui program IbM, tim pengabdian melaksanakan kegiatan (1) pembuatan alat pengering hybrid dan evaluasi kinerja alat, (2) introduksi alat ke mitra, dan (3) melakukan pelatihan tentang tata kelola organisasi, pembukuan dan pemasaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mitra sangat terbantu dalam melakukan usaha produksi ikan asin dengan adanya alat pengering hybrid. Alat pengering hybrid yang diintroduksikan memiliki ukuran 220 cm x 90 cm x 100 cm (p x l x t) dengan sumber energi matahari dan gas Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG). Disamping itu, melalui kegiatan ini terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok KJA dalam hal tata kelola organisasi dan pengelolaan keuangan serta strategi pemasaran usaha. ABSTRACT Sikakap Village is in Sikakap District, Regency of Kepulauan Mentawai located on the island of North Pagai with a very high fishery potential. One of the activities undertaken by the community as a source of income in the village is salted dried fish business. However, the process to produce the salted dried fish only relies on solar energy. Due to its location which is surrounded by oceans, the climate in this region is strongly influenced by the wind season. Rainfall ranges from 2,500 - 4,700 mm / year with the number of rainy days between 132 - 267 rain days per year. Therefore, there should be a drying technology in overcoming the high rainfall level. In addition, capabilities of to govern organization of communinity who joint Kelompok Jaring Apung (KJA) Selat Sikakap and KJA Saruso Mudo should be improved to run the business properly. Through the IbM program, team carries out activities: (1) manufacture of hybrid dryers and performance evaluation tools, (2) introduction of tools to partners, and (3) conduct training on organizational governance, bookkeeping and marketing. The results show that the partners are very helpful in doing the business of salted fish production in the presence of hybrid dryers. The introduced hybrid dryers have a size of 220 cm x 90 cm x 100 cm (p x l x t) with solar and Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) energy sources. In addition, through this activity there is an increased knowledge and skills of KJA groups in terms of organizational governance and financial management as well as business marketing strategies. Abstract

ABSTRAK Ibu hamil termasuk dalam kelompok rentan gizi. Kebutuhan gizi yang tidak terpenuhi pada masa kehamilan mempengaruhi kondisi gizi ibu dan tumbuh kembang janin, berikutnya bisa mempengaruhi kondisi bayi yang dilahirkan, yaitu berupa berat lahir rendah, panjang lahir pendek dan pertumbuhan otak tidak optimal. Tujuan jangka panjang kegiatan pengabdian yaitu untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan gizi pada ibu hamil dan jangka pendek yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil, kemudian meningkatkan sikap positif dan perilaku makan yang sehat dan bergizi selama kehamilan sehingga memberikan dampak positif bagi status gizi bayi yang dilahirkan. Sasaran kegiatan adalah ibu hamil yang mengikuti kelas ibu hamil yang diselenggarakan oleh Puskesmas Lapai. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa Komunikasi Informasi dan Edukasi (KIE), meliputi kegiatan pre-test, penyampaian materi disertai pemberian leafleat dan kegiatan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan gizi ibu hamil berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Tingkat pengetahuan ibu hamil dengan kategori baik saat pre-test adalah sebanyak 3 orang, sedangkan pada saat post-test meningkat menjadi 11 orang (91.7%). Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan ibu hamil memahami konsep tentang gizi ibu hamil. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan secara rutin dengan adanya kerjasama antara institusi kesehatan dan pendidikan di semua Puskesmas di Kota Padang, selain jumlah peserta yang ikut berpartisipasi lebih banyak. Kata Kunci : Promosi kesehatan, Tingkat pengetahuan, Ibu hamil ABSTRACT Pregnant women are vulnerable nutrition groups. Unmet maternal nutritional needs during pregnancy affect the mother's nutritional condition and fetal growth, the next can affect the condition of the babies born, namely low birth weight, short birth length and brain growth is not optimal. The long-term goal is to help overcome the nutritional problems in pregnant women and the short-term goal is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women so that they have good nutritional status and health, and have a good impact for the babies born. The target is pregnant women who attend pregnant mothers classes in Lapai Health Center. This program is Communication Information and Education in the form of Pre-test, the presentation about good nutritional status and nutritious healthy diet during pregnancy accompanied by giving leaflets, and Post-test. The results showed that there was a significant increase in pregnant mother's nutritional knowledge by doing Pre-test and Post-test. The knowledge level of pregnant women with good category when the Pre-test are 3 people when Post-test increased to 11 people (91.7%). Activities run smoothly and pregnant women have understood the concept of pregnant women's nutrition. Hopefully, this activity is routinely carried out and the total of pregnant women’s participation increases. Keywords: Health Promotion, Knowledge Level, Pregnant women
