Komposisi: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra, dan Seni is an international journal dedicated for the publication of scientific articles in language education, literature, and arts education. It was firstly published on March 2000 with ISSN 1411-3732 in 2007 by Faculty of Language Literature and Arts Universitas Negeri Padang. This journal had ever been changed into Jurnal Bahasa dan Seni during 2004-2013. In 2014 this journal is renamed as Komposisi: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra, dan Seni applies open journal system (OJS) and peer-reviewed online journal in 2017 with Online ISSN 2548-9097.

Abstract

This study aims to examine about 1) variations in morphological processes in the titles of opinion articles in Kompas daily; 2) diversity of role fillers in the titles of opinion articles in Kompas daily; and 3) the meaning of the words contained in the title of the opinion article in the Kompas daily. This research uses qualitative research by applying descriptive method. The sources of data in this study are opinion articles published from November to December found on the https://klasika.Kompas.id/ page. The data in this study are the titles of opinion articles found in the Kompas daily. Data collection techniques used in this study are note-taking and documentation techniques. Data analysis in this study used the matching technique with the advanced technique applying the differential comparison technique (DCT). The results of this study indicate that 1) the variation of morphological processes found in the form of affixation processes consisting prefixes, confixes, and suffixes; 2) variations of role fillers in opinion titles in Kompas daily found five variations of roles, namely, the role of place, sufferer, action, experiencer, and time; 3) the variation of meaning contained in the opinion title, there are variations of connotative and denotative meaning.

Abstract

Pemberian nama pada sebuah karya seni tari erat kaitannya dengan apa makna yang ingin disampaikan dalam setiap gerakan tarian tersebut. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana bahasa berperan penting dalam rancangan karya tarian kreasi baru yang diciptakan oleh anak-anak Presisi Indonesia, yang mana Presisi ini adalah sebuah proyek berbasis kontekstual dari Dirjen Kebudayaan Indonesia sebagai paradigma baru sistem pembelajaran di Indonesia. Dengan menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif, simbol-simbol yang ada dalam setiap gerakan tari ini bisa tersampaikan pesannya sehingga diperoleh hasil bahwa tarian ini sudah dimodifikasi dengan menggabungkan pakem tarian dasar dan gerakan modern terinspirasi dari aplikasi TikTok yang bertujuan untuk menarik minat generasi muda agar tetap melestarikan budaya yang ternyata bisa dipadupadankan dengan konsep tarian masa kini.Kata kunci: tari, semiotika, makna

Abstract

This research is based on the teaching online experience where the learning process becomes less interactive and the atmosphere during online learning was monotonous. By seeing the fact, the researcher  is interested to apply an application that seem appropriate to help the students to improve their writing ability in online learning called Answer Garden. The purpose of this research is to solve the problems faced by lecturers who teach writing in universities in Batam. Answer Garden is a new minimalistic feedback tool used to stimulate real-time student participation, online brainstorming, and obtain classroom feedback. The research applied the qualitative research by using observation sheet, field notes, and questionnaire. The results showed that using Answer Garden as Brainstorming activity in online learning gives a good result where students are motivated by the concept because allowing them to generate lists, phrases, thoughts, words, ideas, or questions about a topic of writing in interactive ways. Thus, Answer Garden was seen as a great application to promote student participation during the online learning, because it can involve students brainstorming and collaborating on a topic question that the teacher asked during the online learning.

Abstract

AbstractThe Longkap-Longkap dance is a ritual dance that is functioned as a means of treatment by the Sakai tribal community in Bengkalis Regency, Muara Basung Village. The existence of the Longkap-Longkap dance that is still alive in the Sakai tribal community is a combination of customs, beliefs, and norms that have been inherited by their ancestors. Their defense of an ancestral tradition is an embodiment of culture which is expressed through symbols, meanings, and values in the Longkap-longkap dance. This research is a type of qualitative research using a phenomenological approach derived from field data sources and literature. The results of the research found describe the life of the Sakai people and the way of treatment carried out by the Sakai people through a dance to cure diseases. The beauty that is seen in the form of dance movements, treatment methods, and the socio-culture of the Sakai tribal community makes this culture a form of expressing identity that is unique to minority groups.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the use of directive speech acts of multicultural students studying in Malang City in the context of politeness. Qualitative descriptive is the method used in this study. There are five tribes that are the subject of this research, namely Java, Sumba, Flores, Dayak, and Madura. Data were collected by using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data obtained were analysed based on how they used directive request speech act in different situations in the domain of family, friendship, and school and how they minimized the FTA that might occurs when facing different speech partners. The results of this study indicate that from the four aspects that become the parameters of this study, multicultural students in using directive speech acts have the following pattern: In the aspect of direct / indirect speech acts, in three different domains, all multicultural students use direct speech acts, as well as in the honorific aspect. The use of hedge aspects is more widely used in the campus domain. Meanwhile, in the aspect of speech level, only Javanese and Madurese students use it.

Abstract

Pelatihan materi ajar mata pelajaran Seni Budaya pada MGMP Seni Budaya Tingkat SMP/MTs Kota Payakumbuh dilaksanakan karena belum maksimalnya materi ajar yang diberikan oleh guru-guru kepada peserta didik. Hal ini disebabkan karena latar belakang keahlian guru yang berbeda-beda, guru-guru hanya memiliki satu  keahlian misalnya hanya seni tari, seni musik atau seni rupa saja, hal ini terjadi karena konsentrasi keahlian yang diambil guru-guru pada masa pendidikannya. Namun pada saat mengajar di Sekolah dengan mata pelajaran Seni Budaya guru dituntut harus bisa mengajarkan semua bidang seni tersebut sesuai dengan kurikulum dan silabus yang ada, sehingga guru merasa kurang sempurna dan tidak tuntas dalam memberikan materi yang bukan bidangnya. Para guru membutuhkan ilmu, pengetahuan, keterampilan yang baru ataupun masukan dari para ahlinya mengenai materi ajar yang dapat diberikan di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan melaksanakan pelatihan dengan mendatangkan para ahli atau narasumber dari ketiga bidang seni budaya yaitu seni tari, seni musik dan seni rupa. Dimana narasumber akan memberikan materi teori dan praktik yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil dari pelatihan materi ajar ini yaitu dapat menambah  pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diberikan (soft skill dan hard skill), Sehingga guru-guru dapat memberikan ilmu yang tepat dan proses yang benar kepada para siswanya sesuai dengan materi ajar yang dituntut pada kurikulum dan silabus pembelajaran.
