Abstract

ABSTRACTTondasi Village is one of the Villages in the North Tiworo Sub-District West Muna District as a producer of sand extraction. This study aims to find out: (1) Sand mining business in Tondasi Village, North Tiworo District, West Muna Regency; (2) Determine what factors cause people to change their livelihood patterns. The sample in this study used the Non Probability Sampling technique that was chosen which was saturated sampling (census). In this study, the samples taken were 229 Tondasi villagers. Data were analyzed with 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study show that sand mining in Tondasi Village initially used traditional tools, but technological development is increasingly rapid, so sand mining in Tondasi Village uses a sand suction machine. There are 3 factors that cause the community to change their livelihood to become sand miners, namely the income factor, the lack of catches for the people who are fishermen background, and the failure of the crop due to uncertain seasonal factors for the people who are farmers. However, there are 3 factors that have caused the community to leave their livelihood as sand miners, namely the emergence of new technology to mine the sand which makes traditional sand miners unable to compete with miners who use vacuum cleaners, the absence of mining permits from the government and the emergence of awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.Keywords: Sand Mining Business, Livelihood Changes

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Problem that will be worked through deep observational is aff motivation effect and organization climate to employee performance at Educational Quality Guarantee Institute of Southeast Sulawesi Province.   This research variables analyze motivation which covers identification dimension, employee placement appropriately, attention to employee self-respect, attention to work condition and give chance to go forward. Whereas, a variable of  Organizational climate cover privacy aspect and acclimatization harmony, reward on employee work and their job clarity. While employee performance covers job sharpness. There is dimension even of clerk performance cover job quality, job quantity and also work time timing.  Population in this research is overall of employee  which  amount  123 person, and this research design use data collection technic by use of questioner, interview and documents study. Whereas data analysis to hypothesis test by use of double linear regression analysis and partial analysis uses t-tests t and simultan analysis uses f-test The result of this research pointed out that 1)  Motivation was positively influence to employee performance. 2) Organizational Climate was positively influencing to employee performance. 3) Motivation and organizational climate positive ly influence toward employee performance simultaneously on Educational Quality Guarantee Institute of Southeast Sulawesi Province as big as 27,30%. Meanwhile, 72,70% regarded by other factors.   Keywords: Motivation, Organizational climate, and employee performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the City Development Policy Recommendations Worth Children in the town of Kendari. The location of the research is on Duty and authorized Agencies in the task force as well as Decent City Development Forum of the child, the child's caregivers and the business world in the city of Kendari.  This type of research is a Qualitative Description. Informants in this study a total of 11 people which is the representation of the regional development planning board, a body of women empowerment and child protection, Education, health services, Social Service, Department of labor, Police Resort Kendari, the children's Forum, the task force of the sub-district, and recipient of the City Program Worth Child Kendari. The technique of data collection in this research is the observation, interview and study documents. The analysis of the data used in this research in the form of data collection, reduction of: 1) maximize the synchronization with equating views on the urgency of the fulfillment of children's rights for work unit area devices; 2) implement the coordination between the task force as well as Decent Town monitoring at regular intervals and follow-up; 3) Effective use of guesthouses by the Government so that local government Kendari can provide guidance and rehabilitation for street children; 4) Socialization and strengthening child protection task force levels of the tenets of citizenship as a whole in preventing acts of violence, as well as roles and functions, can be recognized by the public. Keywords: Implementation Policy, The City Deserves A Child

Abstract

The purpose of this study is expected to be useful for the development of the concept of quality public services in order to develop lecture material in the field of public administration, and also useful as a contribution of thought to the local government of Kendari City in the form of community service.The population in this study were 203 people, consisting of elements from the village and sub-district government officials and community elements who had received custody services in the last three months (April, May and June 2009). The sample size is calculated according to Yamne formula, by setting precision of 5% and a degree of trust of 95%, then the sample obtained by respondents is 158 people. The sampling of each element is based on a proportional formula then drawn by a simple random sampling technique from each element. Data collection/information, breastfeeding using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis was performed using tabulation tools, percentages and averages, which were then interpreted to determine the level of influence of variable dimensions of the apparatus' ability on the variable quality of public services in the Abeli District of Kendari City.The results of this study indicate that the condition of the ability of government officials to work in public services in the Abeli District of Kendari City can be illustrated through 3 (three) basic dimensions of apparatus capacity, as follows: (b) Professional technical training possessed by apparatus is classified as high. (c) The work experience of the officers, in general, is less useful because their placement is not relevant to their work experience. With these conditions, the influence of the ability of government officials on the quality of public services in the Abeli District of Kendari City is generally low.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTPT. ANTAM Tbk is a company engaged in the exploration of mining materials such as nickel, gold and silver, and bauxite. Tambea village is one of the areas in Pomalaa Subdistrict, Kolaka Regency, which is close to PT. ANTAM Tbk. The purpose of this study can evaluate the CSR program of PT. ANTAM Tbk in Tambea Village, Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency. The method of determining the sample uses the System of Rising Intensification method with a population of 24 heads of households as respondents. The analytical method used to determine the relationship between the level of performance and level of expectation is the method of IPA analysis (Importance-Performance Analysis). The results of this study indicate that the company PT. ANTAM Tbk still has to improve its performance on the elements of program distribution and supporting elements of the program. Abstract

One sector that contributes to foreign exchange is the dominant mining sector. This mining sector contributes 36% of the country's revenue. Among the activities of the nickel mining industry, it has had a positive impact on the state treasury from taxes and royalties. Therefore, the existence of these natural resources has economic potential that must be utilized in order to prosper the lives of the people in accordance with the provisions of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution (paragraph 2). This study tries to examine the positive impact of nickel mining activities on the socio-economic conditions of the community. The purpose of the study was to describe the positive impact of nickel mining activities on the socio-economic life of the community in Tinanggea sub-district. The research method uses a qualitative approach based on data collection with observation techniques, interviews with informants and review documents related to this research.the results showed that the positive impact of nickel mining activities in Tinanggea District was that it could accommodate local workers or increase the opportunity for people to get jobs in mining companies, increasing community income through monthly salary gains, increasing micro-businesses in the surrounding mining areas. buying and selling activities between the community and employees working in mining companies. While the conclusions of the study were that mining activities in Tinanggea Subdistrict had a positive impact on the people of the region. Abstract

Due to the problem on how does organization climate influence employee performance faculty of social and politic Haluoleo University, this research aims to analyze whether organization climate influence employee performance or not by proof the hypotheses based  on empirical data from faculty of social and politic Haluoleo University, and to analyze significant level of organization climate to employee performance. This research tests several organization climate variable which includes individual autonomy dimension, sanction orientation, visibility of structure and motivation, and also employee performance variables that consist of productivity, served quality,  respond, responsibility, accountabilityIn this research, we use descriptive, verification, and correlation analysis to analyze causality of influences by using survey methods to measure and analyze how big the influences of organizational climate to employee performance in faculty of social and politic Haluoleo University. By quantitative approach and statistical test. Data had been collected by using a questionnaire as a primary instrument, interview, documentation, and literacy study as secondary data. Then, those data proceed by using determination and product correlation analysis. The result of this research showed that organizational climate has a strong, significant, a positive influence on employee performance in faculty of social and politic Haluoleo University. Organization climate becomes a dominant factor which influences the employee. This research also has proven that employee performance will raise when its organization climate getting better.
