Abstract

Expression of a baby and a child really is a beautiful moment for a photographer. In fact, some may even call it a miracle to be able to shoot that expression. This is possible since people, that is, the parents, the photographer, and person who is looking at the picture, can be amazed and impressed by the mood and any expression coming from the baby's face or body language. As a baby and a little child, it is as if they have their own world that cannot be touched an adult. This so-called world is what makes it so special and so exclusive, because there in no pressure or choreograph for them. There is only a certain approach that needs to be taken in order to be close to their world. With that said, capturing a child's expression in his world into a picture is also somewhat different. We have to use their version of approach and because of that, baby and kid photography has its own challenges.

Cultural studies could be described as a language game or formation of discourse associated with relation to power in signification practice of human life. In addition to cultural studies, there is also feminism theory participated in the concept of feminist cultural studies that reconstructs and transforms view of misperception between feminism and cultural studies. Feminism affects cultural studies, but not all feminism can be viewed as cultural studies, and not all cultural studies talks about gender. Both of cultural studies and feminism have substantive importance in relation to power, representation, pop-culture, subjectivity, identity and consumption. The theory of social construction is also has connectivity with cultural studies. Construction of reality is inseparable from mark, symbol, and language. Abstract

Glass is a clear and see-through material that comes from SiO2, which is a form of sands heated to 2000oC until they are melted. Glass has its own characteristics, such as: hard, transparent, clear, and fragile. The use of glass can be applied in a wide range of building elements, for example: roofing, walling, flooring, window and door, even staircase elements. By this wide range of utilities, this material could be very useful in design process. It can provide a wider view for small room with a lot of partitions or wall. It is because this material allows the light passing trough the material. That’s why people are able to see what’s behind the glass and eyes can see-through although the glass wall is limited by the glass. Hopefully, the research about diversity of glasses will be useful for designer, architect, and community in interior design and architecture world.
