The purpose of this research is to analyze and design a database to support Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (POSYANDU). Search data techniques implemented include interviews, documentation, observation, and literature study. Analysis and database design include conceptual, logical, and physical design. The result of this research is a database system that can save integrated data and POSYANDU information needs. Using the database system, PUSKESMAS can manage data of mother and baby’s health and related transactions.

The study aims to evaluate the sales information system of PT XYZ whether the system supports the company's goals, as well as to determine the problem and control done by the company. Literature study and field studies through observation, interviews and checklists are implemented. The results of this evaluation are weaknesses in information systems presented on matrices of risk assessment and audit reports. The evaluation discovers the weaknesses of each control which are the potential risks and recommendation need. The controlimplemented by the company still needs to be improved further, particularly in the controls of input and output which are still weak.

ERP (enterprise resource planning) is a solution needed by companies to assist the integration of all functional areas. A self-learning media of ERP system is needed for the successful use which is highly depended on the users mastery. The learning media must be flexible to time and place. Therefore, this research creates a self-learning application for ERP system based on a case study on SAP application. SAP is an ERP-based solution widely used by medium to large companies. The method used are data collection, analysis on running business processes and the identification of information needs, followed by the application design. Identificationof system requirements uses Flash CS5 Action Script 3.0. The result achieved in this research is a multimediabased learning tool which assists training for trainers and trainee and facilitates trainee supervision during training. The learning tool is found helpful in self learning process.

Product Quality Division is in charge to do testing and verification of motorcycle prior the order for mass production items needed. The testing is prepared by the testing department which sends the list of items needed to the warehouse to be ordered. 20 - 43% of the items needed for testing are delayed which drives thetesting department to directly order the same parts to ensure the testing is conducted on time. Crucial parts are determined through Pareto analysis and Newsboy Problem inventory model is used as the inventory system. Based on the simulation of new model project using the proposed inventory system, up to 88% of the total cost of part loss in each project can be saved.

Book as a learning method is less effective and interactive since it can not deliver motion animation. Thus, a more interactive learning method is needed to have a better learning process. The goal of the research is developing an application that provides easiness for students in learning algorithm by combining computerassited instruction (CAI) and internet technology. On the development phase, the research methodo uses fact finding by a survey to students who are or have been learning algorithm and a literature study, and also waterfall method for software development. The research output is a CAI application for learning algorithminteractively. The developed application is interactive for learning process and able to help students in deepen algorithm topics.

Credit union has a substantial role in supporting the growth of the national economy. A number of credit Unions implements DSS application to promote and accelerate the process of decision-making by management. DSS can provide ease of calculation, accuracy in the calculation and examination. However, an ITinvestment in DSS application, as well as other investments, is a segment that depletes costs and effort. The cost is calculated from the procurement, and continues during maintenance or during the investment implemented. Thus the implementation of DSS on a credit union needs to be measured whether it is quite fit and gives positive impacts on decision-making by management and on sale.

Sorting is a basic algorithm studied by students of computer science major. Sorting algorithm is the basis of other algorithms such as searching algorithm, pattern matching algorithm. Bubble sort is a popular basic sorting algorithm due to its easiness to be implemented. Besides bubble sort, there is insertion sort. It is lesspopular than bubble sort because it has more difficult algorithm. This paper discusses about process time between insertion sort and bubble sort with two kinds of data. First is randomized data, and the second is data of descending list. Comparison of process time has been done in two kinds of programming language that is C programming language and FORTRAN programming language. The result shows that bubble sort needs more time than insertion sort does.

Various history books as media to learn the history of Indonesia people are actually quite complete and adequate. However, the interest of younger generation, especially the children, to read the books is quite low. Additionally, the advance of computer technology makes kids and students more interested playing game than reading books. The game trend backgrounds the need for research on the use of computer game application as a medium to learn the history of the building through a game. As the special purpose of this research is to obtain a game application that can be a medium of learning historical buildings. The research is divided into two stages: the first stage is to identify gaming software that can be used as an educational game for historical buildings and to develop the model of 3D gaming applications; the second phase is the application trial and implementation at schools.

This study discusses specifically the encryption mechanism that maintains the integrity of the game data on online games. The purpose of this study is to implement symmetric key encryption and checksum for score calculation. There are two methods conducted in this study: analysis and design. The analysis method isperformed in two ways: analysis of existing systems and analysis of literature study. System design method used is prototyping. The results obtained are implemented on online game competition ‘Expedisi Indosat’ through Facebook from 3 – 30 July 2011. The implementation of symmetric key encryption mechanism and the checksum is useful to maintain data integrity on games especially the results score when the game is running and when there is data transmission from the client to the server.

This study aims to identify whether the information system used by a sea food restaurant has been efficient and effective. It can support decision making for follow-up actions. The methodology used in this study is literature study, interview, and survey. To evaluate the effectiveness of operational information systems at the restaurant, we use cost benefit analysis. To evaluate whether the operational information system is efficient, we use questionnaire with Likert scale calculations. Based on the evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency ofoperational information system at the restaurant, it can be seen there is a difference between investment in 2004-2009 and investment in 2010. From the results of calculation using cost benefit analysis to determine the effectiveness, we find that investment in 2004 was positive while investment in 2010 is still negative. Based on the results of questionnaires, the investments are considered efficient. Based on the evaluation, information systems used in sea food restaurant has been effective and efficient. The return on investment only takes less than two years and the information systems supports operational activities.
