Arifin Surya Dwipa Irsyam & Tatik Chikmawati. 2018. A Conspectus of Madurese Rutaceae. Floribunda 5(8): 277–290. — Information on Rutaceae of Madura is reported for the first time. The aim of this study was to provide an updated information on Rutaceae of Madura. There were 31 species of Rutaceous plants that grouped into 3 subfamilies and 16 genera collected from Madura. As many as 3 species of them are new records for Madura. They were Citrus × floridana (J. Ingram & H. Moore) Mabb., Euodia hortensis J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. and Melicope denhamii (Seem.) Sebanyak 31 jenis tumbuhan Rutaceae yang termasuk ke dalam 3 anak suku dan 16 marga telah dikoleksi dari kawasan Madura. Sebanyak 3 jenis di antaranya merupakan rekaman baru untuk kawasan Madura, yaitu Citrus × floridana (J. Ingram & H. Moore) Mabb., Euodia hortensis J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. dan Melicope denhamii (Seem.) Rosyanti, Budi Afriyansyah & Ida Haerida. 2018. Diversity of  Bryophytes from Botanical Garden of Bangka Flora Society, Bangka. Floribunda 5(8): 315–321. — Botanical Garden of  Bangka Flora Society is a place to conserve the diversity of flora of Bangka Belitung, and it is located in the village of Petaling Banjar, West Mendo District, Bangka Regency. Data collection using exploration methods. Bryophytes are found during the exploration are collected and identified. A total of 45 species of Bryophytes were recorded from the garden. Those consist of 30 species of mosses in 9 families and 15 species of liverwort in 4 families and 11 of them are new records for Sumatra. Five new recorded species of mosses for Sumatra are Anthrocormus schimperi Dozy & Molk., Calymperes polisotii Schwaegr., Syrrhopodon rufescens Hook. & Grev., Microdus macromorphus Fleisch., and Fissidens robinsonii Broth. Whereas Calypogeia arguta Nees & Mont. ex Nees, Frullania gracillis (Reinw. et al.) Dum., Frullania meyeniana Lindenb., Leptolejeunea elliptica (Lehm & Lindenb.) Schiffn., Schiffneriolejeunea pulopenangensis (Gottsche) Gradst., and Pallavicinia lyellii (Hook.) Keanekaragaman Lumut di Kebun Botani Bangka Flora Society, Bangka. Floribunda 5(8): 315–321. — Kebun Botani merupakan suatu kawasan konservasi keanekaragaman flora Bangka Belitung. Kebun Botani tersebut terletak di dusun Kampung Sawah desa Petaling Banjar, Kabupaten Bangka. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode eksplorasi dan koleksi flora dengan cara jelajah. Lumut yang ditemukan selama penjelajahan di koleksi, kemudian dibuat herbarium dan diidentifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 45 jenis lumut yang terdiri atas 30 jenis lumut sejati (9 suku) dan 15 jenis lumut hati (4 suku). Sebelas jenis lumut yang ditemukan di Kebun Botani merupakan rekaman baru untuk Sumatra. Lima jenis rekaman baru lumut sejati adalah Anthrocormus schimperi Dozy & Molk., Calymperes polisotii Schwaegr., Syrrhopodon rufescens Hook. & Grev., Microdus macromorphus Fleisch., dan Fissidens robinsonii Broth. Sedangkan 6 jenis lumut hati yang merupakan rekaman baru untuk Sumatra yaitu Calypogeia arguta Nees & Mont. ex Nees, Frullania gracillis (Reinw. et al.) Lutfiana Hasanah Gusmiati, Lia Hapsari & Didik Wahyudi. 2018. Morphological Diversity and Clustering of 10 Cooking Bananas (Musa cv. Group ABB) Collection of Purwodadi Botanic Garden - LIPI. Floribunda 5(8): 299–314. — Cooking banana, has high social and economic values for rural people. Therefore basic information of morphological identity and characteristic of it, is important to be studied. Cooking banana is mostly identified as Musa acuminata x Musa balbisiana ABB group (Musa cv. ABB). The aims of this   study are  to characterize and to analyze the diversity, similarity and clustering of cooking bananas which were collected from Purwodadi Botanic Garden - LIPI. It comprises of 10 local cultivars of cooking banana as in-group and 2 wild banana species (M. balbisiana) as out-group. Morphological characterization guide was based descriptor for banana by IPGRI. Data analyses were conducted using program Paleontological statistic version 3.0. Principal component analysis resulted five main components (eigen value >1), in which contributed to the total diversity of 10.75% to 61.86% and clustering analysis resulted 3 sub-groups. The out-group was nested as sister of sub-group II. Each sub-group has synapomorphic characteristics. The lowest similarity coefficient value was 0.75 and the highest was 0.9. This study provide information on the morphological characteristics and taxonomic clustering of cooking banana that can be useful as a basis for further research and development.Keywords: Clustering, cooking banana, diversity, morphology, Musa cv ABB Group. Lutfiana Hasanah Gusmiati, Lia Hapsari & Didik Wahyudi. 2018. Keberagaman dan Pengelompokan Morfologi 10 Pisang Olahan (Musa cv. Grup ABB) Koleksi Kebun Raya Purwodadi - LIPI. Floribunda 5(8): 299–314. Pisang olahan memiliki nilai sosial dan ekonomi yang tinggi bagi masyarakat pedesaan. Oleh karena itu informasi dasar tentang identitas morfologi dan karakteristiknya penting untuk dipelajari. Pisang olahan sebagian besar diidentifikasi sebagai Musa acuminata x Musa balbisiana Grup ABB (Musa cv. Grup ABB). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkarakterisasi juga menganalisis keberagaman, similaritas dan pengelompokan pisang olahan  koleksi Kebun Raya Purwodadi - LIPI. Pisang yang diamati terdiri dari 10 kultivar lokal dan 2 spesies pisang liar (M. balbisiana) sebagai kelompok pembanding. Panduan karakterisasi morfologi menggunakan deskriptor untuk pisang oleh IPGRI. Data dianalisis menggunakan program statistik Paleontologi versi 3.0. Analisis komponen utama menghasilkan lima komponen utama (eigen value >1) yang berkontribusi terhadap keberagaman total sebesar 10,75% hingga 61,86% dan  analisis pengelompokan menghasilkan 3 sub-grup. Kelompok pembanding bersarang bersama sub-grup II. Masing-masing sub-grup memiliki karakter sinapomorfi. Nilai koefisien kemiripan terendah yaitu 0,75 dan tertinggi adalah 0,92. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi karakteristik dan pengelompokan taksonomi pisang olahan secara morfologi yang dapat bermanfaat sebagai dasar penelitian dan pengembangan selanjutnya.Kata kunci: Keberagaman, morfologi, Musa cv Grup ABB, pengelompokan, pisang olahan.

Ashari Bagus Setiawan & Nunik Sri Ariyanti. 2018. Anatomical Characters for Identifying the Eleocharis species (Cyperaceae) of Madura Island. Floribunda 5(8): 291–298. — Simple morphological vegetative structure of Eleocharis become an obstacle in identifying the species, especially when the specimen is sterile. Therefore, other valuable taxonomic evidences are needed in distinguishing the species. For this purpose, the Eleocharis species of Madura Island (E. atropurpurea, E. dulcis, E. geniculata, E. philippinensis, and E. spiralis)  were compared based on the paradermal and cross sections of its culms. The results showed that those five Eleocharis species of Madura could be distinguished based on these anatomical characters of culms: length-width ratio of the epidermal cells, length ratio of the stomata l subsidiary cells to the guard cell, stomata l density, shape of the culm cross section, shape of the chlorenchyma cells, distribution of the vascular bundles and air cavities, presence of stellate parenchyma in the air cavities, and presence of parenchyma cells at the central pith. An identification key for the Madurese Eleocharis was constructed based on the anatomical characters of culms.Keywords: Anatomy of culms, Eleocharis, epidermis characters, Cyperaceae. Floribunda 5(8): 291–298. — Ciri morfologi struktur vegetatif yang sederhana pada  Eleocharis menjadi salah satu kendala dalam mengidentifikasi jenis-jenisnya, terutama jika spesimen dalam keadaan steril. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan ciri selain morfologi yang memiliki nilai taksonomi untuk membedakan antar jenisnya. Untuk itu, jenis-jenis Eleocharis asal Pulau Madura (E. atropurpurea, E. dulcis, E. geniculata, E. philippinensis, dan E. spiralis) dibandingkan berdasarkan sayatan paradermal dan melintang buluhnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lima jenis Eleocharis Madura dapat dibedakanberdasarkan ciri anatomi buluh berikut ini: rasio ukuran panjang terhadap lebar dari sel-sel epidermis, bentuk sel penjaga pada stomata, rasio ukuran panjang sel tetangga terhadap sel penjaga pada stomata, kerapatan stomata, bentuk sayatan melintang buluh, bentuk sel-sel klorenkim, sebaran berkas pembuluh dan ruang udara, keberadaan parenkim bintang dalam ruang udara, dan keberadaan sel parenkim pada pusat empulur. Kunci identifikasi Eleocharis di Madura disusun berdasarkan ciri anatomi buluh tersebut.Kata kunci: Anatomi buluh, Eleocharis, ciri epidermis, Cyperaceae.

Psydrax dicoccos Gaertn., merupakan jenis tipe dari Psydrax Gaertn., hanya mempunyai dua sampel buah sebagai bahan tipenya. Terbatasnya material tipe menghasilkan kesalahan yang menyebabkan jenis yang berbeda diberikan nama P. dicoccos. Sebanyak 140 lembar spesimen herbarium yang diidentifikasi sebagai P. dicoccos di kawasan Malesia, ditentukan sebagai takson yang berbeda dan ditunjukkan dengan tiga jenis baru yaitu Psydrax elmerianus, P. koordersianus dan P. sumatranus. Psydrax dicoccos Gaertn., the type species of Psydrax Gaertn., is typified by a specimen consisting of two detached fruits. The limited type material has resulted in a number of distinct species being wrongly referred to that species. Approximately 140 herbarium specimens identified as P. dicoccos in the Malesian region are shown to represent three new species, Psydrax elmerianus, P. koordersianus and P. sumatranus.
