In this work, the half-duplex (HF) power beacon-assisted (PB) energy harvesting (EH) relaying network, which consists of a source (S), Relay (R), destination (D) and a power beacon (PB) are introduced and investigated. Firstly, the analytical expressions of the system performance in term of outage probability (OP) and the system throughput (ST) are analyzed and derived in both amplify-and-forward (AF) and decode-and-forward (DF) modes. After that, we verify the correctness of the analytical analysis by using Monte-Carlo simulation in connection with the primary system parameters. From the numerical results, we can see that all the analytical and the simulation results are matched well with each other.

Vehicular Cloud Networks (VCN) is the network that ensures mobility and availability of resources allowing new services and applications like Network as a Service (NaaS), STorage as a Service (STaaS), Computation as a Service (CompaaS) and Cooperation as a Service (CaaS). In this paper, we propose a solution to secure the Vehicular Cloud Network (VCN). Our challenge in this work is to adapt the PKI architecture, which is mainly used in wired networks to be used in VCN. To propose a security solution for Vehicular Cloud Networks (VCN), our work is based on three steps; the first one is to make network architecture study, where we tried to highlight the main network components. The second step is to propose the security solution architecture. Finally, the last step is to program a test and validate the solution using a simulation.

Wireless sensor networks have become an emerging research area due to their importance in the present industrial application. The enlargement of network lifetime is the major limitation in WSN. Several routing protocols study the extension of lifespan in WSN. Routing protocols significantly influence on the global of energy consumption for sensors in WSN. It is essential to correct the energy efficiency performance of routing protocol in order to improve the lifetime. The protocols based on clustering are the most routing protocols in WSN to reduce energy consumption. The protocols dedicate to WSN have demonstrated their limitation in expanding the lifetime of the network. In this paper, we present Hybrid SEP protocol : Multi-zonal Fuzzy logic heterogeneous Clustering based on Stable Election Protocol (FMZ-SEP). The FMZ-SEP characterizes by four parameters: WSN segmentation (splitting the WSN into the triangle zones ), the Subtractive Clustering Method to determine a correct number of clusters, the FCM and the SEP protocol. The FMZ-SEP prolong the stability period and extend the lifetime. The simulation results point out that the stability period of FMZ-SEP. FMZ-SEP protocol outperforms of MZ-SEP, FSEP and SEP protocol by improving the network lifetime and the stability period.

In this study will simulate steady state of Digital Down Convertor (DDC) for GSM signal with a narrow frequency range. The MATLAB model that is described in this article simulates the work of the TIGC4016 Quad Digital Down Converter. This converter is used for digital mixing (down conversion) of signals, narrow band low-pass filtering and decimation. To implementation of the model, we use high sample-rate (69,333 MSPS) bandpass signal. The result contains low sample-rate (270.83 KSPS) baseband signal, thus facilitating the demodulation process.

A recommender system is an approach to give an appropriate solu-tion to a particular problem. This helps in recognising the pattern or behaviour of a user to suggest future possible likes of the user. Nowa-days people like to travel during their spare time, it has become a rigid task to decide where to go. This paper represents a customised recommender system to help users in destining their itinerary. A model is designed to suggest the best places to visit in Rome. A questionnaire was prepared to get information about users interest during their travel. The model generates the best five places to visit with respect to the choice picked by the user. The top five places for each category will be displayed to the user and the user was asked to pick a starting point for the itinerary. Then the model generates another set off a filtered list of places to enhance their travel experi-ence. It includes displaying the top 5 restaurants to visit during their travel.

We present a new digital signature scheme with message recovery and its authenticated encryption based on elliptic curve discrete logarithm and quadratic residue. The main idea is to provide a higher level of security than all other techniques that use signatures with single hard problem including factoring, discrete logarithm, residuosity, or elliptic curves. The proposed digital signature schemes do not involve any modular exponentiation operations that leave no gap for attackers. The security analysis demonstrates the improved performance of the proposed schemes in comparison with existing techniques in terms of the ability to resist the most common attacks

This paper documents an efficient, cost-effective and sustainable grid-connected electric vehicles (EVs) battery charger based on a buck converter to reduce the harmonics injected into the mains power line. To utilize the switching converter as an effective power factor controller (PFC), inverse sinusoidal pulse width modulation (ISPWM) signals have been applied. A mathematical relationship between the sending-end power factor and the duty ratio of the switching converter has been presented. To ensure the sustenance of the proposed method, a simulation model of the proposed battery charging system has been tested on PSIM simulation platform. The simulation results yield to a lossless charging system with a sending-end power factor close to unity. An experimental testbed comprising a 60 V battery bank of 100 A-h capacity with a charging current of 7 A has been generated. The laboratory assessments present an 88.1% efficient charging prototype with a resultant sending-end power factor of 0.89. The laboratory framework concerns with the comparative analysis of the power efficiency, sending-end power factor and lines current total harmonic distortion (THD) values obtained for different charging methods and the evaluations corroborate the reliability of the proposed work.

Localisation technologies have always remained in the limelight of positioning-science as researchers have ever shown keen interest to know the exact positions of things. Ultrasonic sensors are mainly used for localisation of mobile robots since they provide high accuracy. This paper presents Taylor Series Method in Time Difference of Arrival approach using ultrasonic sensors.Signals are send from the sensors periodically. The time difference of arrival of signals from the ultrasonic sensors is used by the receiver unit to estimate the location of the mobile unit. The equations formed by using Time Difference of Approach are solved using Taylor Series Method. Taylor Series Method provides a more accurate result since they give less error compared to other methods and they ignore the measurement errors.

In this paper our objective focuses on the development of digital transmission techniques in order to solve the problem of Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI) due to multiple paths and the improvement of Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system performance. The both algorithm: MERRY algorithm (Multicarrier Equalization by Restoration of Redundancy) called TEQ (Time domain EQualizer) and the power allocation method to allocate appropriate power to each user (Water-filling technique (WF)) [1] is used. Finally, the numerical results show that combining Water Filling with TEQ technique allows to reduce the ISI for MC-CDMA systems.

A dynamic temporary network is created through wireless mobile nodes without the need for considerable infrastructure as well as a central manager. In a mobile ad hoc network, routing protocols allow a mobile for transmission and receiving packets. In the last decade, many variants have come up for the AODV. A minimum number of hop counts are chosen for enhancing routing protocols to include additional factors that can have an impact on path selections. As the distance between each node grows, the transmission power also rises accordingly. Hence, this impacts the network’s entire performance and the most important feature is the quality of service. Most of the traditional routing protocols include energy consumption levels of the nodes and various parameters, like residual battery power, consumption of energy per packet and energy needed per transmission. A new technique is proposed in this paper to enhance the routing efficiency by making use of lion optimization algorithm after identifying all possible paths in the network. This technique not only enhances the energy efficiency of each node but also the performance metrics.
