The Journal of Innovation in Business and Economics (JIBE) is published by the Department of Economics and Business at University of Muhammadiyah Malang in 2017. Previously this journal was known as Jurnal Media Ekonomi that was initially published in 2000. In 2011 until 2016, this journal was renamed as Ekonomika Bisnis: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pemikiran. JIBE is a generalist; academic review covering all fields of business, management, accounting, and economics. The journal seeks to examine the emerging and state of the art future innovations in business, economics and management made possible by advances in information, communication, and technologies. We welcome contributions covering all fields of business innovations including, but not limited to information, communication and technologies applications in business, cost and revenue model, business ethics, business strategy, applications of innovation in business and management, entrepreneurship & innovation, information systems, international business & cross-cultural studies, marketing, organization studies, general management as well as micro and macro economics.

Abstract

This research aims to seek an influence of service quality to the loyalty of the customer with relationship marketing.The study use a relationship marketing variable as intervening variable. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) used to analyze the influence of service quality to customer loyalty through relationship marketing. The research show mention an influence of service quality to customer loyalty, service quality to relationship marketing, and relationship marketing to customer loyalty.

Abstract

The research objective is to seek the financial feasibility of land management patterns conducted by the local community which implement agro forestry technologies. This research conducted at the Forest Area Special Purpose (KHDTK) Borisallo, located in sub-distric of Bontoparang, Parangloe, and Gowa. The data have been obtained and analyzed use a descriptive approach  to their feasibility. The results showed land management of agro forestry patterns in KHDTK Borisallo is feasible to develop at 12% interest rate. The proportion of agro forestry land use is with 30% cacao and 70% coffee crops is more feasible to be developed in comparation with another agro forestry patterns.

Abstract

Different network configuration influences users’ motivation in collaborating online. While dense and strong ties network induced trust and close collaboration, it restrict expansion. On the other hand, sparse and weak ties stimulate expansion but less trusted collaboration. In addition, there are three instances that would encourage collaboration online. First, certain types of threat exist in online collaboration in the forms of losing reputation, structural position, and censorship. Second, communication augment credibility of threat by accentuating the consequences of threat and reminding of group desired consensus. Finally, online configuration creates ‘sense of community’ that deters deviation.

Abstract

The research objective is to measure the economic performance and financial independence of the respective districts or cities  in East Java Province. To measure it , the author used physical and non physica abilitie, economic and  business sector growth , area quality of growth, and financial independence. The benefit is to contribute the development of alternative models of economic performance measurement and financial independence for Regency/City, the form of software measurement of economic performance and financial independence of the Regency/City.

Abstract

The organizational problem is to create the effective collaboration processes in a organization. Weblog which constitutes a social software to facilitate knowledge sharing effectively. Meanwhile, blog in the intranet design, The objective to make communication easier to all employee or staff . The objective is to share knowledge or experience in order to solve the problem in a blog. Nevertheless, The member of online community will not face a constraint with hierarchy’s organization limitation.The other benefit is management can directly give feedback on staff comment in blog.

Abstract

This article reviewed the response and behavior of the change-related budgets model  and financial reports in an effort to improve accountablityin public institution. This article is based on research conducted  2004 to 2009 in an institution of education. The results of the study concluded  the response informant key to approve the proposed changes, although there is a statement which agrees with the notes. While the behavior associated with policies  can improve the public accountability of education institutions,the question is whether we should  take a policy of top-down or bottom-up.
