Abstract

Branch of computer science in the field of artificial intelligence is often used to handle problems in a computer game, one of which is to find the two closest points that are often found in the maze game. In the world of computing, the algorithm is so much that can be used to find two pairs of points contained in the labyrinth area. One of the search algorithms that can be used is the A * pathfinding algorithm.This algorithm is one type of search algorithms that have information that is used to perform the search process. Algorithms * A is also known as an algorithm that efficiently and will provide optimal results.Here is used the Manhattan distance heuristic function type. From this test we will be able to see how the algorithm * to find the shortest path from the problem of maze maps created using macromedia flash and actionscript as a programming language.The success of the solution obtained using algorithm A * in solving the maze could not be separated from the use of the heuristic function in it. Keywords: Algorithm A *, heuristics, Labyrinth.

Abstract

Learning of mathematics in the classroom emphasized the links between mathematical concepts with everyday experience of children. In addition, the need to apply the mathematical concepts that have been re-possessed child in everyday life or in other areas is very important. Linking real life experiences of children with mathematical ideas in the classroom is important so that meaningful learning (ollive John, 2002 Munirah Ghazali, 2005)This study aimed to determine the effect of the use of multimedia on learning outcomes based on the relationship between fractions of fractions with examples of children's daily experiences.The results showed that the learning system can be made easier for students to understand the concept of fractions. Results using instructional media can be seen from the average value of each group, for the treatment group was 80.20 and the average value for the control group was 61.20. Based on the questionnaires to the respondents in the treatment group, 79% stated that the operation, contents, delivery of content (tutorials) in the form of images and text and easy to use learning strategies.Key words: Fractions, multimedia, learning

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that influence risk disclosure with stakeholder theory approach to the manufacturing companies that present financial statements in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results are expected to provide empirical evidence of factors that influence the disclosure risk (leverage, institutional ownership, the ability to generate earnings and the proportion of tax payments) with the approach to stakeholder theory, as for the control variables used in this study profiles the company, size and firm age .This study sample consisted of 130 companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2008 and 2009. Research carried out by content analysis on the company's annual report and tested with multiple linear regression. The results of risk disclosure is at most financial risk and integrity risk, information and technology risk, strategic risk, environmental risk, and operational risk. Leverage impact positively on the disclosure of risks to the significance of 0.1. Institutional share ownership, the ability to generate income, the proportion of tax payments does not affect positively on the disclosure of risk. Control variables that affect the disclosure of risk is the company's size and age profile while the company does not have an influence Key words   :   leverage, institutional ownership, the ability to generate earnings and the proportion of tax payments

Abstract

Expert systems solve the problem of bad behavior in children psikoligis can help a person to cope with bad behavior in children based on psychological knowledge of symptoms and complaints of the patients felt that the patient is a parent of the child, so as to take preventive and early treatment that will not cause the child to experience psychological disorders. The method of data collection that is used by the writer is observation method or of observe directly the behavior who experiences many disturbances on bad behavioural psychologic on children, interview methode and references (take from book and literature). This research contains bad behavior systems program in which the child psychologists and experts there to increase knowledge about the psychology of bad behavior in children symptoms or signs and how to overcome from psychological disorders in bad behavior. Abstract

This study aims to diagnose ENT (Ear Nose Throat) disease through a computer-based system. Often people do not understand about the disease, and doctors are limited in serving the community. For the expert, the expert system can be used as an inexperienced assistant. Also for substituting human knowledge in the form of the system, so it can be used by many people. This application will assist in finding a conclusion illness with appropriate prevention. The application system is analyzed data ENT diseases and symptoms of the ENT disease. The method used is the Certainty Factor. Application development using PHP and MySQL for the database. The results showed that the system is built to provide information to visitors about the type of disease and its definition, diagnose symptoms experienced visitors, danmemberikan initial solution treatment.Keyword: certainty factor, expert system, ENT disease

Abstract

The main reason poeple invert is to make a profit. It is reasonable if investors demand a certain level of return on funds that has been invested. Investor expectations of investment returns is that conpensation of  opportunity costs and risk reduduction in purchasing power due to the effects of inflation. How big the company in determines the dividend policy can be seen from Devidend Payout Ratio.          The basic formulation of the problem is as follows: Is there any influence of Return on Asset of Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR)? Is there an effect of Sales growth of Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR)? That there any effects of Asset growth of Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR)? Results of regression analysis showed that large numbers of regression coefisien of Return on Assets (2.098) Assets Growth (-o.980) and Sales Growth (-0.225). Based on the regression coefficients of  the 3rd. It’s concluded that the hypothesis: Return On Asset positive influence on Divident Payout Ratio is significantly tested. Asset growth negative influence on Dividend Payout Ratio is not tested and not signifient. That Sales Growth Significantly are positively influence the Dividend Payout Ratio is not tested and not significant.Key : return on asset, asset growth, sales growth, divident payout ratio
