Abstract This study was conducted to reveal the cause of low interest in following PKM activities of Civil Engineering Department Students, at Engineering Faculty of Padang State University (UNP). This case is caused by the fact that the Students’ interest is relatively low in following PKM activities in 2013. This study was conducted on students of Building Engineering Study Program of Civil Engineering Department at Engineering Faculty of UNP year 2010 and 2011. Total population in this study is 167. The numbers of samples for this study are 118; Students of year 2010 are 59 Students and the year 2011 are 59 students. Technique of data collection is using the Likert scale questionnaire. The results showed that the low of students’ interest in attending PKM activity is caused, among others: in the cognition indicator are the lack of Students’ knowledge in PKM proposals development and the lack of information obtained by the students, in the emotion indicator are less happy feelings in following PKM activities, as well as the lack of willingness of Students to follow PKM activities, and lack of students’ attention about PKM activities (in wish indicator). ABSTRACK This study is a descriptive study that aims to describe and interpret the data obtained on an overview of the perceptions of students of Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP on implementation experience in the world of construction services indrustri the period July-December, 2013. The population of this research is the students of Department of Civil Engineering who has carried out the PLI in the period July-December 2013, the total sample was taken using sampling with a sample of 69 students. The results showed perceptions of students majoring in civil engineering FT-UNP on the implementation of industry experience in the world of construction services in the following activities: observation with the degree of achievement of 68.09%, with the degree of achievement of planning activities and implementation activities 67.34% with 67.86% degree attainment. Based on the degree of achievement, can all be classified simply. Overall perception of students of Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP on the implementation of industry experience in the construction world degrees 67.75% and include enough categories. Abstract This research aims to analyze the basic skills to teach students technical education Buildings current UNP PPLK FT-in SMK Padang city of se-either in planning or carrying out the learning process. Preliminary observation on some schools that implement PPLK, there are some complaints by teachers ' teachers have indicated that there are students who do not prepare the planning and implementation of the learning process. This research is descriptive research to uncover how the mastery of basic skills to teach students at PPLK in SMK Padang city. The population is teachers ' teacher semester January-June 2014 as many as nine people. Instruments used include the now Likert scale models and descriptive analysis. Results of the analysis of data on indicators of ability to plan the learning process obtained the degree of achievement of the average 73,96% category is enough. On the learning ability of implementing indicators obtained then obtained an average of 71,02% category is enough. It was concluded that the basic skills to teach students technical education Building is included in the category of less skilled enough or. Key Words: Ability to plan, implement the learning process.

Abstract SMK is study of vocational school which was aimed to emphasize readiness students for to enter workfield and expand professional attitude. Yet, not all of SMK students interested to enter the working world, contrary interested for continue study. This research was a know correlation student of the working world with interest work r interested for continue study at direction build SMK Negeri 1 Guguak Kabupaten 50 Kota. This research was a descriptive research corelational, which was aimed to know how wide influence variable (X) towards variable (Y) and type correlation happen. The population of this study was students class X and XII of whish are 52 students, and The sample was taken by using simple random sampling whish are 35 students. Based on the data analysis, it was assumed that correlative coefficient was (r=0,4402). And then concluded of data analysis is accepted correlation between knowledge about working world with interest work or interest continued study on significantcy 5%. ABSTRACT This research is based on the lack of learning motivation and learning outcomes on principles mechanical drawing subject which is under minimum completeness criteria for students of year of school 2011-2012 construction drawing program in SMKN 1 Bangkinang. Research hypothesis that expressed is there is a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes on principles drawing subject for students of year of school 2011-2012 construction drawing program in SMKN 1 Bangkinang. This research is descriptive correlation with simple random sampling of 45 students and research subject is students of year of school 2011-2012 construction drawing program. Research data were gathered by questionnaire with Likert-scale, and X variable was learning motivation and Y variable was student’s learning outcomes. Analysis was conducted in three stages: (1) data description, (2) pre-analysis testing, and (3) research data hypothetical testing. Research data was analyzed with SPSS v.20. From data analysis, it is acquired correlation coefficient (r) of 0.301 and signification from correlation value is 0.044 which less than 0.05. It means that there is a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes on principles mechanical drawing subject in SMKN 1 Bangkinang. ABSTRACT This research aimed to reveal the correlation between learning outcomes of Planning Drawings Course and students’ interest in drawing with the AutoCAD program. Preliminary observation showed that some students still use the AutoCAD program to draw and learn to master it, while some rarely use in their daily task afterward. This is a correlational research, the population is 115 students of Building Engineering Education program from two entrance years (2009 and 2010) that already took the Planning Drawing Course and received their result. Sample collection technique is Accidental Sampling with sample size of 30 students. Primary data were gained by using questionnaire. The analysis result showed that there is a correlation between learning outcomes of Planning Drawings Course and students’ interest in drawing with the AutoCAD program. The correlation is on medium level and the learning outcomes of Planning Drawings Course affect the students’ interest by 22,7%. Abstract This research is motivated by the lack of students’ learning outcomes at Building Engineering Department of SMK N 2 Sawahlunto. This research has goal to determine if there is relationship or not between building management workshop and students’ learning outcomes in practice wood at Building Engineering Department of SMK N 2 Sawahlunto. Design of this research is a descriptive correlational. The population of this research is all of the students in the faculty of building engineering, 2013/2014 school year totaled 36 people. Sample was taken from all members of the population who called Total Sampling and the number of samples are 36 students. Independent variable of this research is Workshop Management and dependent variable of this research is Learning Outcomes of Wood Practice. Based on the result of correlation analysis is obtained r value 0.743, correlation coefficient r is bigger than r Table (0.743> 0.329). It can be concluded, there is a relationship between workshop management and students’ learning outcomes in Wood Practice at Building Engineering Department of SMKN 2 Sawahlunto on sufficient category, the level of the relationship is between 0.6 to 0.8. ABSTRACT The problem in this research is the undisciplined of students in surveying and mapping class. Therefore, this research aimed to find out how much college discipline relationship with student of learning outcomes odd semester academic in 2013/2014. The type of research conducted was descriptive correlational. Population in this research are 150 students from 9 sections. Sampling using a purposive sampling with particular considerations then, the selected to be sampled are 45574 section. The data were obtained from the rubric which then analyzed using a technique Pearson Correlation with SPSS version 15.00. The results of this research revealed that the degree achievement of the course student discipline and student of learning outcomes quite enough. From the analysis result, the significant correlation discovered between disciplines count lectures with learning outcomes, and significantly rhitung 0779 alpha = 0.000> 0.05. The amount of contribution to the discipline of the course learning outcomes amounting 63.84%. Means there is a positive contribution to the discipline of the course with learning outcomes in survey and mapping. Keyword: Discipline Class, Result study, 1st Survey and Mapping Course

Abstrac This research aims to see and know the improvement of learning outcomes through group discussion on Construction Materials Sciencesubjectof tenth grade students in SMK Negeri 5 Padang.This research uses experimental approach;population of the research is student grade X of Construction Engineering at SMK Negeri 5 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2013/2014. The sampling technique is done by simple random sampling.The gathering of the data uses a test of learning results in the form of 10 objective questions and 2 essay question.From the result of test research, there has been obtained an average value of students who learned using discussion groups that is 81.46 while students who used conventional methods is lower at 77,12,with 2.201 of thitungand 2.011 of ttabel. According to the statement of the hypothesis ifthitung> ttabelitmeans that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the second hypothesis (H1) that is received. Thus it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who are taught by a group discussion method was higher than students who are taught by conventional methodin Construction Materials Science subject for students grade X of SMK Negeri 5 Padang.
