Abstract

Abstract The background of this research is the lack of interest and motivation to complete the final assignment of Planning Drawings course so as the learning outcomes is below expectation.  This study was conducted to determine factors that become an obstacle for students in the Department of Civil Engineering to complete the final assignment of Planning Drawings course. The type of this research is a descriptive study. The population of the study are students of Department of Civil Engineering who took Planning Drawings course in semester July-December 2012.  This study used proportional random sampling, data collection was done by using questionnaire that were distributed to the respondents. The results of the data analysis showed that the factors that become an obstacle in completing the final assignment of Planning Drawing course consist of interest, motivation and learning facilities. Percentages for each factor are: interest at 15.98%, motivation at 17:06% and learning facilities at 17:24%. The total percentage of those three factors is 50.28%. Abstract

Abstract This research aimstoreveal the comparative statics results of students Class X in learn building techniques are taught with cooperative learning model type Group Investigation and taught by Conventional models in SMK N 5 Padang. The population of this research are students of Class X Building Engineering Department SMKN  5 Padangas many 81 people. The sampling was done bycluster random sampling technique. Instrument used objectivetest. Data analysis used the t test. The research results showed cooperative learning model type Group Investigation on statics subjects provide better learning out comes than learning out comes using conventional methods. Average student learning out comes for the experimental classwas 82.66 whilethe control class 63.60. Ttest showed count value greater thant table was tcount=6.0508> ttable =1.6973at0.05significance level. This showed that there is asignificant differencein student learning out come susing cooperative learning model type Group Investigation using conventional method sonstatic ssubjects of Class X Building Engineering Department SMKN5 Padang. Abstract

Abstract This research is based on poor result of budgeting plan subject in SMKN 1 Bukittinggi that is below minimum completeness criteria (KKM) 75. The success of field work or PRAKERIN is supported by one of subject that is RAB. Therefore, it is suggested a proposal of hypothesis that is: there is a contribution of budgeting plan subject (RAB) toward achievement of industrial field work in XI class construction drawing SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. Population in this research was students of XI class construction drawing program SMKN 1 Bukittinggi that amounted to 51 students. Sampel collection technique in this research was total sampling. Research instrument was questionnaire with Likert scale 4 stage modification for questionnaire that had been validated its reliability. Data analysis technique was correlation technique. Result of data analysis showed that correlation between RAB learning and achievement of industrial field work with Pearson Correlation 0.408 was given contribution of 16.65%.
