Abstract

ABSTRACT             This research is purposed to reveal the competency of PLK teacher as voluntary-teacher in building engineering class academic period of Juli-December 2015 in SMKN 1 Tanjung Raya. Type of research was descriptive quantitative. Research population was all students at class X building engineering major year of school 2015/2016. Sample collection was conducted by total sampling where sample was amounted to 80 students.Research data was gathered by questionnaire, and then it was analyzed by descriptive analysis with SPSS version 17 software. Based on research finding, it can be reveal that competency of PLK teacher as voluntary-teacher in building engineering class academic period of Juli-December 2015 in SMKN 1 Tanjung Raya is in moderate category. Form each indicators of competency, which are pedagogic, personality, social and professional competencies, all of them are in moderate category. Keywords:pedagogic, personality, social and professional competencies.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe problems of this research were student learning outcomes grade X TGB in even semester 2015/2016 year in subjects “indentify science building” where at low level, there were 27.42% of students get value under the minimum clearance criteria (KKM). This study aims to describe the: 1) how large the contribution of family environment towards learning outcomes students, 2) how big contribution ways of learning against the student learning outcomes, 3) how large the contribution of family environment and ways of learning collectively against the results of student learning.     This research is descriptive research. The population of this research were grade X TGB SMK N 1 Pariaman. Sampele totaled 62 students were selected using total sampling techniques. The instrument used are the likert scale model. This data analyzed by the method of linear regression, product moment, simple regression, and double regression.     The findings of this research: 1) the level achievement of family environment on average in the less category, 2) the level achievement of ways of learning on average in the less category, 3) the level achievement of learning outcomes on average in the middle the category, 4) there are significant contributions family environment to wards learning outcomes students (r2 = 0.109), 5)there are significant contributions ways of learning to wards learning outcomes (r2 = 0.0101), 6) there are significant contributions family environment and ways of learning collectively against student learning outcomes (R = 0.117). Keywords: family environment, ways of learning,student learning outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRAKEngineering Program with Competencies Skills Building Construction Engineering Wood SMKN 2 Sawahlunto special moves on the field of timber. The fundamental problem in woodworking is an accident that occurred while working in the workshop. Based on information from the chairman of the Department of Buildings, occupational accidents have occurred in 2005 and 2006. In addition, from the interviews is known that wood workshop SMKN 2 Sawahlunto not yet meet the standards of a good workshop. For that I am interested in doing research with the title: Overview of understanding of occupational safety and health technical students in wood XI and XII graders Engineering Program Skills Competency Building Construction Engineering Wood SMKN 2 Sawahlunto.This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study were students of class XI and XII Engineering Program Skills Competency Building Construction Engineering Wood N 2 Sawahlunto, amounting to 22 students. The sampling technique in this study using total sampling method. Data collection tool is questionnaire and data were processed using the statistical program SPSS version 17.0.The results showed that: understanding of occupational safety and health in the implementation of the wood work practices class XI and XII Engineering Program Skills Competency Building Construction Engineering Wood SMKN 2 Sawahlunto with the average value of K3 at 70.64% against themselves, on average K3 to the tools and equipment 74.27% and an average of 79.71% K3 to the environment. based on research results throughout degrees of achievement in the category "Enough". Abstract

ABSTRAK The study program of Technical Education Building Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University is a program of study that prepares students to become professional workers in the field of vocational education. Graduates of Technical Education Building Program can be expected natinya prospective teachers Vocational High School of Technology and Engineering  Education  Building  Techniques.  Based  on  the  interviews  and  the results  of  previous  studies  it  is  known  that  students  are  not  interested  in  the teaching  profession.  To  determine  the  factors  that  affect  the  interests  of  the teaching profession, the authors conducted a study with the title: Factors Affecting Student Interests Professional Teacher Education Program Building Engineering Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University. This research is descriptive. The study population is students of Technical Education Building Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang  State  University  year  in  2014.  The  sampling  technique  used  total sampling method with a total sample of 68 respondents. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire study. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis techniques with percentage calculations. The  results  of  this  research,  there  are  five  sub-indicators  of  internal factors that affect the interests of the teaching profession that is emotional, perception, motivation, talent and mastery of science. Of the five sub-indicators of the talent factor is the internal factors that most influence. Factors influential talents of 25.41% interest in the teaching profession to students of Technical Education Building Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University year in 2014.   Keywords: internal factors, interest, teaching profession

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the relationship between entrepreneurship interest and learning outcome of entrepreneurship subject for student at class XII SMKN 1 Padang.The design of the study is correlation, with two variables and sample collection technique was proportional random sampling which was 181 samples from 330 populations. Data was collected by questionnaire with Likert scale that consisted of four options.Data was taken by questionnaire. Data analysis technique in this research consisted of several steps which were data description, prerequisite analysis testing and hypothesis testing. From research finding, it shows that there is a relationship between entrepreneurship interest and learning outcome of entrepreneurship subject for student at class XII SMKN 1 Padang, with pearson correlation coefficient is (0.612) > alpha (0.05), this result shows a significant relationship between learning interest and learning outcome for entrepreneurship subject.Keywords: Entrepreneurship Interest, Learning Outcome.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to determine whether there was effects of cooperative learning model type STAD on learning outcomes of 'applying construction finishing material' subjectat class XI students TGB majoring SMKN 1 Koto XI Tarusan.This research was true experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed in experimental class with an average score of pretest and posttest were 73 and 86 respectively, where as in control class average score of pretest and posttest were 65 and 76 respectively. It can be seen that there was an improvement ofstudent’s learning outcomes in experimental class. Then, t-test obtained thitung = 0.876 and ttabel = 2.060 at 0.05 signification. It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model type STAD does not give significant impact on learning outcomes of 'applying construction finishing material' subject. Keywords: Kooperatif tipe STAD, Hasil Belajar, Menerapkan MaterialFinishing Bangunan

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research to reveal the constraints experienced teachers of SMK Negeri 5 Padang in implementing PTK 4 stages in the semester from July to December 2015. This research is descriptive quantitative and technique of sampling using Proportional Random Sampling 58 of 139 people population. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale consisting of four possible answers. The number of items in the questionnaire research as much as 39 point statement.The results showed that the constraints faced by Guru SMK 5 Padang In Implementing TOD namely: the indicator (1) Planning action research experience problems with an average degree of achievement of 74.57% are sufficient. (2) The act of classroom action research experience problems with an average degree of achievement of 82.76% including the big categories. (3) Observation of classroom action research experience problems with an average degree of achievement of 73.11% are sufficient. (4) Reflection classroom action research experience problems with an average degree of achievement of 70.85% are sufficient.Keyword: Teacher of SMK N 5 Padang, Class Action Research

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siwa kelas X Teknik Gambar Bangunan pada mata diklat Gambar Dasar Teknik Bangunan.Selain itu, juga belum optimalnya persiapan sarana belajar siswa tersebut.Hal ini terlihat dari setiap tugas yang diberikan guru selalu tidak selesai tepat waktu.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan itu, maka diperlukan peningkatan kualitas motivasi belajar siswa.Penelitian ini digolongkan pada penelitian kuantitaifdengan pendekatan korelasional.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Kontribusi Motivasi Belajar Siswa Terhadap Hasil Belajar Gambar Dasar Teknik Bangunan Siswa Jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Padang.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X pada Jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Padang dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 99 orang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara proportional random sampling yang menghasilkan sampel sesuai dengan proporsi setiap kelas populasi, sehingga diperoleh sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang siswa.Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat kontribusi motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata diklat Gambar Dasar Bangunan Jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Hasil analisis r2 menunjukan bahwa 37,2% variabel motivasi belajar memberikan sumbangan terhadap hasil belajar. Sedangkan sisanya 62,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk kedalam penelitian ini antara disiplin, minat, kreativitas, tingkat pendidikan orang tua.  Kata kunci : Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

ABSTRACT                This study aims to reveal the factors that affect learning Image Building Construction (GKB) TGB XI grade students in SMK N 1 Bukittinggi with a population of TGB XI grade students who have studied GKB in the academic year 2014 / 2015. This research is descriptive quantitative and sampling techniques using Proportional Random Sampling 48 respondents , of which 25 respondents represent a class XI TGB 1 and 23 respondents from class XI TGB 2. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale consisting of five possible answers. The number of items in the questionnaire research as much as 56 point statement. The results showed that the dominant factor affecting student learning GKB is an external factor with a percentage of 54.55%. Internal factors are the most dominant influence is the motivation to learn with the percentage of 18.06%. External most dominant factor affecting student learning GKB is a family factor to the percentage of 41.18%. Keywords: Learning, Image Building Construction

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to reveal about the readiness of students majoring in civil engineering faculty of engineering of UNP in 2015 period in implementing the Industrial Field Experience, which is viewed from the aspect of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.This research is quantitative descriptive with a population of 59 supervisors from 9 companies where the Civil Engineering students of Padang University implementingthe Field Experience Industry (PLI) in 2015 in the city of Padang. The sample in this study were 37 supervisors by using the random sampling techniques.The data were collected by using questionnaires. From the research, it was found the perception of supervisor of the readiness of students of Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Padang, in implementing the PLI in Padang is ready for affective and less prepared for cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The final judging from the overall aspect that the perception of field supervisors toward students of Civil Engineering FT-UNP in implementing the PLI in Padang are less prepared.Keywords: Perception, Readiness, PLI.
