The performance of a lecturer at a university is influenced by several variables. This research was conducted at Jabal Ghafur University using three variables; workload, working environment and compensation towards the performance of the lecturers of Jabal Ghafur University. The objective of the research was to find out the effect of workload, working environment and compensation towards the performance of the lecturers. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 120 lecturers of Jabal Ghafur University. Analytical tool used in this study to measure its effect was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that simultaneous workload, working environment, and compensation affect the performance of the lecturers and the effect is significant at 5% df. Correlation of independent variables on the dependent variable was perfect and determination coefficient stated that workload, working environment and compensation revealed that the performance of the lecturers of Jabal Ghafur University was 90.8%. It can be concluded that workload, working environment and compensation had a significant effect and it is suggested that the lecturers should be given opportunity to continue their study to a higher level.Keywords: Workload, Working Environment, Compensation,Lecturers’ Performance

Job performance is as a result of work has been accomplished person from his behavior in carrying out work activities. There are several factors that affect the achievement of which stress and career development. Stress may contribute incorrectly or damaging the work performance. In simple terms this means that the stress potential to disrupt the implementation of the work. In addition to job stress, career development is also a matter that affects job performance. Career development needsto be done in a planned and sustainable. With the opening of the career opportunities are accompanied by a realistic career goals and reasonable could lead to a satisfactory performance. Both of these need to be considered by PT. Jasa Marga (Persero)Tbk Branch Belmera in terms of improving performance. This study aimed to determine the effect of work stress on work performance, to determine the effect of job stress and career development to job performance. Data collection techniques in this study using a study of documentation, interviews and using a questionnaire. The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of organizational culture on motivated mediated performance, this study used quantified qualitative data. To analyze the data, used path analysis by using multiple linear regression and motivation into mediation variable. The number of respondents used is 100 local secretariat apparatus in North Aceh district. The result of the research shows that organizational culture has an effect on the apparatus performance motivation, and also organizational culture have an effect on to performance, motivation also directly influence to performance, motivation also mediate between organizational culture and apparatus performance of secretariat of regency of north Aceh regency.Keywords: Organizational Culture, Motivation, Performance

This study aims to provide empirical evidence about the effect of the level of education, work experience, salary and commitment to the organization’s financial management performance.Sample in this study is the civil servants who work in the financial section in the units of Lebong District, totaling 90 peoples. This study uses multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the level of education and salary not a positive influence on the performance of financial management while work experience and organizational commitment has a positive effect on the performance of financial management. The results of this study are expected to be taken into consideration for the Local Government District Regional Head Lebong so much attentionto the importance of work experience and organizational commitment affecting the financial managementperformance.Keywords: Level of Education, Work Experience, Salary, Organizational Commitment, Financial Management Performance

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Program Keluarga Harapan Aid (PKH) to Education Participation in Indrajaya Sub-district of Pidie Regency. The population in this study were all household heads receiving PKH assistance in Indrajaya sub-district, Aceh Pidie district. Sampling was done randomly by using “stratisfield random sampling” method as much as 10 percent from 409 respondents to get 41 respondents. The results showed PKH grant funds provided to increase education participation in Indrajaya Sub-district PKH Assistance was able to explain or influence the education participation of KSM children in Indrajya Kabupaten Pidie reached 96.8 percent and the rest of 3.2 percent influenced by other variables outside the model this research. The provision of PKH assistance should be well targeted and truly aimed at improving children’s education. This is important, as such assistance is only temporary and more focused on deciding the poverty chain.Keywords: Program Keluarga Harapan Aid (PKH), Education Participation

The purpose of this study was to measure the impact of brand awreness to purchase intention with attitude toward sponsor recomendation as mediating variables on Phone cell consumers in Banda Aceh. Data we collected from a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection equipments used in this research is a questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) was used as method of analysis to determine the effect of all the variablesinvolved. Based on the result of HLM analysis there is a positive effect on brand awareness toward purchase inten, brand awareness has a positive influence on the sponsor recommendation behavior, sponsor recommendation behavior has a poitive influence on purchase intentions, and attitude toward sponsor recomendation mediated the effect of the brand awareness toward purchase intention.Keywords: Brand Awareness, Attitude Toward Sponsor Recomendation, PurchaseIntention, Hierarchical Linear Modelling

This study aims to determine whether the effect of tenure on earnings quality with quality audits are used as intervening variables. The existence of inconsistencies in the results of previous studies on the effect of tenure on audit quality such as Myers et al (2003), Manry et al (2008), Carey and Simnett (2006), Wibowo and Rossieta (2009) led to re-examined this issue to see the effect of tenure on audit quality. In addition, this study also looked at the effects of indirect and direct influence of tenure on earnings quality and tenure through a quality audit of the quality of earnings that will be the test whether the simultaneous influence. Tenure in this study are calculated by looking at how many years the KAP to audit a company, while the audit quality measure using current accruals and earnings quality measure using earnings management. Observational data in this study is a manufacturing company of the year 2006-2010 in accordance with predetermined criteria. The results of this study indicate that significant tenure was positively related to audit quality, tenure can be affected indirectly through a quality audit of the quality of earnings, and tenure through the quality audit can simultaneously affect the quality of earnings.Keywords: Tenure, Quality Audit, Quality of Earnings

Islamic Banking is a bank that runs its main activity to gather funds from community and to funneling funds to community based on the principles of Shariah. This study discusse about the knowledge of the general public and the islamic students toward Islamic banking.The purpose of this research is to find out how the knowledge of the general public and the islamic students toward Islamic banking. The objects of this research are community general public and Islamic student in Kemukiman Bandar Baru. For the general public is composed of five villages, are: Cot Jabet, Ulee Nyeue, Paya Uleue, Alue Keurinyai and Jamuan. For Islamic Students consists of Integrated Dayah Darul Ma’rifah and Recitation Hall Babussalam Al-Aziziyah. The Data used in this research is the primary data obtained through interviews of respondents directly by using the questionnaire. In the sample, methods used is probability sampling and to define samples in research is used technique stratified sampling and engineering clusters of sampling.Hence, samples are obtained for the general public and islamic students for each are 100 respondents.Test statistics instrument used for analysis this research is test different samples average two pairs (paired sampels test). Test result average difference suggests that there is a difference of knowledge among the general public and the islamic students of Islamic banking. This suggests that the knowledge society students are still less aware of Islamic banking. The implication may provide opportunities to the existing Islamic banking in the community to conduct socialization to society, particularly the Islamic students.Keywords: General Public, Islamic students, Islamic Banking
