Abstract

Abstract: Gresik Regency has a large potential of capture fisheries and cultivation so that the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries is designated as a pilot of the Minapolitian project. This study aims to determine the impact of the implementation of the Minapolitan policy on the economic conditions of pond communities in Gresik Regency. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a focus of research: 1) efforts made by the government in implementing the Minapolitan policy; and 2) economic conditions of the pond community after the implementation of the Minapolitian policy. The results showed that the government had tried to improve infrastructure (infra-structure) around the ponds to make it easier for farm communities to run aquaculture activities, but had not been able to support the needs of production facilities. As for the economic conditions of the community, it has not significantly increased the income of the community and opened employment opportunities for the youth. Abstract

Abstract – performance is a record of the outcome of the function of a particular job or activity of an employee for a certain period of time (Gomes, 2000). This study aims to examine the effect of compensation financial and compensation non financial on performance of employee with motivation as intervening variabel involving 35 people as respondent with using partial least square (PLS) analysis method and sobel tests to test the mediating effect. Data were obtained through observation and questionnaire distribution.This study shows two point, first compensation financial has a significant positive effect on work motivation and work motivation has a significant positive effect on employee’s performance. Indirect influence between compensation financial on performance of employee through work motivation that is partial of mediation due to the effect between compensation financial variable on performance also significant. Second, compensation non financial has a significant positive effect on work motivation. Indirect influence between compensation non financial on performance through work motivation that is full of mediation due to the effect between compensation non financial variable on performance of employee not significant. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to examine the effect of consumer ethnocentrism and materialism to product brand perception and preferences in Surabaya as the second largest city in Indonesia. This research tests the validation of the construct measures and associated hypothesis using survey data from 132 respondents and using structural equation modeling techniques. The results show that (1) there's no correlation between consumer ethnocentrism and materialism in Surabaya, (2) consumer ethnocentrism has significant effect on product brand perception, (3) consumer ethnocentrism has not affected on product brand preferences, (4) materialism has significant effect on product brand perception, and (5) materialism has significant effect on product brand preferences. Abstract

Abstract: Go-Pay is a form of Fintech, which is currently a trend both in terms of equipment and business. Its practical, safe and easy use encourages people to use this service. Go-Pay is currently aspired to be a one-stop service application where users can order various types of services from just one application.The purpose of this study was to determine how the pattern of use of Go-Pay by Kedai Bakso and the factors that support and inhibit its use. To get these results, Adaptive Structuration Theory (AST) is used because the structure contained in this model can be modified according to the needs of the object under study In implementing fintech, there were needs that had arisen before the store manager finally decided to implement fintech. The decision was supported by offers from service providers, as well as information from fellow business actors. After implementing fintech, costs arise as a result of implementing services. So businesses need to make price adjustments to their products. In the end, businesses maintain services that benefit their business. Keyword: fintech, payment, transaction, umkm

Abstract

Abstract: The phenomenon of millennials massive entry into the working environment in the last decade brought different characteristics with the previous generations. The negative stigma attached to the millennials reinforced the cirmcumstances that millennials’ engagement level at work was low although their job satisfaction was high. This research aimed to examine the implication of teamwork in mediating job satisfaction and employee engagement. This study involved 129 respondents and used SmartPLS 3.2.8 as an analysis tool. This study suggests that job satisfaction significantly affecting employee engagement but partially mediated by teamwork. Abstract

Abstract One way to improve the performance of the HR is to pay attention to employee satisfaction. Job satisfaction is an important factor in HR to produce the optimal performance. If this employee fells dissatisfaction, it can cause work stress and make employees leave the company. Therefore, social support is needed to manage the level of stress from work in company environment.This research was held in PT. Charoen Pokphand Jaya Farm to find out wether there is an influence betwee job stress to job satisfaction wit a source of social support as a moderating variable. The sample of tis study was 40 hatchery employees, and using a censuss method. Researchers analyzed and calculated with regression.The result of tis study refer to the formulated hypothesis that job stress has a negative effect on job satisfaction, and social support can reduce job stress and social support has a positive influence to job satisfaction of employees. On the analysis result which used t-test showed that job stress and the interaction between job stress and social support has a influence to job satisfaction. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the promotion mix consisting of advertising (X1), personal selling (X2), sales promotion (X3), and public relations (X4) both simultan and partial on purchasing decisions (Y) and also to find out the promotion mix of the biggest variable influence on US cellular card student students, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University. The population of this research is students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University. The method used in this study was purposive sampling, by 50 respondents and the study was conducted in December 2016 The data collecting methode were collecting kuesioner and library research. The Data Processing technique was used software of SPSS version 16.0 windows used scale of likert. The result of this research from F test (Simultan) proved the advertising (X1), personal selling (X2), sales promotion (X3), and public relations (X4) had an signifikan effect towards purchase decision (Y) of college students user AS card cellular at Economics and Business Faculty Airlangga University. It can be concluded from the fourth independent variable which has the biggest influence on purchasing decisions (Y) US mobile card user students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University are personal selling (X2). Abstract

Abstract: In supporting infrastructure development and housing needs, cement is one of the more widely used strategic commodities. Improvement of infrastructure and property development in Indonesia is caused by an increase in good economic growth in Indonesia. This is the main attraction for both domestic and foreign investors to further enliven the cement industry in Indonesia. Competition occurs between old players and new players who have plans and are building new factories. In addition to PT X in Indonesia there are also 6 (six) other cement companies and 8 (eight) new companies that will invest in the same field which causes competition among the cement industry players to increase. Facing this development, every company is required to be able to develop and evaluate competitiveness by utilizing existing resources to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage in industrial competition. One way to analyze a company's sustainable competitive advantage is to conduct a resource-based view analysis using the VRIO framework. The purpose of conducting a resource based view analysis is to find out whether resources are owned and managed, including in competitive disadvantage, competitive parity, temporary competitive advantage or sustainable competitive advantage. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of the results of the study, it can be concluded that the resource-based strategy in supporting the achievement of sustainable competitive advantages in PT X is stated to have been proven. A resource-based strategy that includes financial, physical, organizational, technological, human, innovation and reputation resources described in the conclusion of this study is the result that PT X's resources are an important factor in sustainable competitive advantage. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the relationship between perceived organizational structure and employee engagement which is moderated by perceived organizational support. Organizational support provides assistance for employees in adapting to existing organizational structures. A good organizational structure will improve employee performance and create employee attachments to the work environment. Data from this study were taken from 90 employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Surabaya Office with proportional sampling method. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that perceived organizational structure has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, and perceived organizational support reinforces the positive influence of perceived organizational structure on employee engagement. Abstract

Abstrak. PT. X is a service company that manufactures Tires, Carpets, andHoses. This study aims to determine the application of cost classification, but alsoto find out relevant cost analysis on this company, and evaluate the impact on thecompany's profit and loss in accepting or rejecting special orders. The method ofresearch conducted by the author is to conduct research directly to the company,observe company activities, study documents related to the object of research,and also conduct interviews with relevant parties. In addition, the authors alsoconducted a literature study so that it could assist the writer in calculating therelevant costs in making decisions whether to accept or reject special orders. Theresults showed that PT. X has not yet classified the production costs properly, sothat management decision making is also not right, where many companies rejectspecial orders, without analyzing them first. From the findings of existing problems,the authors suggest that the company should evaluate the production costsincurred in the company on a regular basis so as to obtain accurate and adequatecost data. Companies should also make a separation between fixed costs andvariable costs because this is quite important in providing relevant information tocompanies to build long-term competitive advantage.Keywords: Relevant Costs of Decision Making Tools, Receiving or DecliningSpecial Orders.
