Abstract

School snack food is a problem that needs attention the public, especially parents, educators, and school administrators. School meals and snacks very risky against biological or chemical contamination of the many disturbing health, both short term and long term. Behavior of children to choose snack foods that have bought both positive and negative impacts to the health of the child. There are still many school snacks are not guaranteed health and potentially cause toxicity. This study aims to investigate the correlation of nutrition knowledge, breakfast, and a children’s pocket money with behavioral habits in Elementary school 3 Banjarbaru Municipalities. This research uses the analytical method with cross sectional design and it was conducted on 74 respondents. Based on the results of the statistical test by using the chi-square find correlation of nutrition knowledge with behavioral habit of eating snacks (p = 0,001), find correlation of breakfast with habit of eating snacks (p = 0,008) and find correlation of money pocket with habit of eating snacks (p = 0,010). From result of this research can be concluded that find correlation of nutrition knowledge, breakfast, and a children’s pocket money with behavioral habits in Banjarbaru Kota 3 Elementary school.

Abstract

Minimum standard service is provision of the type and quality of basic services which is a matter for obligated area that every entitled obtained minimum of citizen. That also represent the technical specification about measuring rod of minimum service given by public service body to society. To know the minimum standard service in RSUD Pambalah Batung Amuntai conducted by analysis about service give taking care of to lodge the underwriter doctor reply, availibility of service take care of to lodge the clock of visite doctor, death of patient > 48 Hours, occurence come home to force and to take care of outpatient is the availibility of service to take care it , Time to open the service to take care of outpatient , lay of time taken care outpatient , satisfaction of Costumer and straightening of diagnosed of TB through microscopic inspection TB.Research type used is descriptive by using interview, observation and document study to know the service standard take care of to lodge and take care outpatient in RSUD Pambalah Batung Amuntai. this Sampel Research is service take care of to lodge, service take care of outpatient and patient. this Data presentation in form of tekstular. Pursuant to result of research of service type take care of the service take care of to lodge which not yet fulfilled the time of standard visite doctor and for the service of take care of outpatient which not yet fulfilled the minimum service standard is giving service to outpatient open time of the service and the time of took care wait. the Service type not yet fulfilled the standard because lack of specialist doctor and lack of registration worker in RSUD Pambalah Batung Amuntai.

Abstract

Traditional birth attendant is a woman who has the ability to perform the help of labor obtained with traditional methods. Partnership, cooperation based on mutual agreements between the parties concerned. The specific aims of this research are: to determine the characteristics of a traditional birth attendant in work of Puskesmas Mataraman, to determine a traditional birth attendant about partnership with midwives in area of Puskesmas Mataraman, and to determine the characteristics of a traditional birth attendant about partnership with midwives in area of Puskesmas Mataraman. This study used a descriptive method is a method of research conducted with the main objective to description of a situation objectively. This study used cross sectional approach and the sampling technique used in the total population that is sample in this research all a traditional birth attendant are located in area of Puskesmas Mataraman amounted to 22 people. Data collection techniques are obtained from direct interviews with questionnaires to the respondents. From the results of this research obtained the majority of education by the respondent only basic level or elementary level (90.91%), the largest age group of respondents is the age group 50-54 years (27.28%) and the highest level of respondents' knowledge obtained is lack of knowledge level (63.64%). Based on the research that has been done it is recommended to health institutions to provide refreshment to the health workers, especially midwives toward mother and child health for handling cases of births attended by a traditional birth attendant.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period between childhood toward adulthood where there growth spurt (growth spurt) physically and psychologically. Entering adolescence will be preceded by the occurrence of sexual maturity. Teens will be faced with circumstances that require adjustments to be able to accept the changes that happened to him. Negative responses about physical changes in adolescents can lead to various effects such as feeling embarrassed, did not want to hang out, feeling awkward with a new look. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge with self adjusting puberty in girls junior Darul Hijrah Banjarbaru. Types with cross sectional analytic study. The samples in this study were 100 student girls in junior high school DarulHijrah. The results showed that the level of knowledge about puberty girls are in categories A total of 47%. Adjustment teenage girls at puberty is having a negative behavior as much as 61%. Analysis using chi-square test to get the value p = 0.001 <α 0.05. There is a relationship with the knowledge level adjustment teenage girls facing puberty in junior Darul Hijrah Banjarbaru. suggestion to young women to further increase the knowledge about puberty so it can adapt to meet the physical changes that are being experienced.

Abstract

Food sources of vegetable protein can be used as a food sources of protein such as mushrooms, mushrooms have high enough protein and calcium content. Mushrooms can be processed into a variety of dishes, one of them is in making meatballs. This study aims to analyze the content of protein, calcium and acceptance mushroom meatballs. This study is experimental with five treatments consisting of P1 comparison of white oyster mushroom : beef (100gr : 0gr), P2 ratio of white oyster mushroom : beef (75gr : 25gr), P3 comparison of white oyster mushroom : beef (50gr : 50gr), P4 ratio of white oyster mushroom : beef (25gr : 75gr) and P5 comparison of white oyster mushroom : beef (0gr : 100gr). Protein content is tested using kjedahl method, the content of calcium is tested using titration methods, and acceptance is tested using the hedonic method 30 conducted on consumer panelists. The statistical test of protein and calcium uses oneway ANOVA and the statistic test of acceptance uses friedman test. The obtained the results of the study, there is an effect on the proportion of white oyster mushroom protein content in mushroom meatballs (p = 0,001), there is an effect on the proportion of white oyster mushroom calcium content in mushrooms meatballs (p = 0,000), there is an effect the proportion of white oyster mushroom on acceptance flavor (p = 0,000), taste (p = 0,001) and texture (p = 0,000), but no effect of oyster mushrooms on the acceptance color (p = 0,420) in the mushroom meatballs. Expected to grow oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) as a basic material for making meatballs mushrooms, because of its nutrient content is high. P3 has a very high content of protein and not much different from the protein content on P5, so that it can be used as an entrepreneurship for meatball merchant.

Abstract

Non-compliance diabetes mellitus patients to the diet can be seen from the many leftover food. Leftover food is one indicator ofthe success of nutrition services in the in patient unit. Leftovers food occurs because patients do not spend on food that has been given. The maincause of external factors and internal factors, but there are other factors that caused leftovers is food quality factors consisting of a food variety, food appearance and taste of food is also one causes of leftover food. This researchaimed to know the factors related with the occurrence leftovers food of diabetes mellitus patients in Dr. H.Moch. Ansari Saleh Hospital Banjarmasin. The research design was across sectional survey approach. Sample was 45 patients with diabetes mellitus who are under going treatment in the Safir room and Nilam room. The statistical testused was a Chi-Square. Research result shows that respondents who expressed a variety of food is satisfactory (88,9%), food appearance was satisfactory (84,4%), taste the food was satisfactory (66,7%), the average leftovers food of patient remain many (>25%) on the type of vegetableside dish that is equal to 55,6%, animal side dish and fruit of 51,1% and average leftovers food of patient overall remain many (>25%) is equal to(55,6%). Chi-Square test results showed no correlation between variety of food and food appearance with leftovers food (p >0,05), while the taste of the food has a significant correlation with the leftovers food (p <0,05).

Abstract

Pneunomia is infection in lower respiratory tract and it is a health problem in the world because of its high number of death, predicted more than 2 million of children under five years death because of pneumonia compared to other diseases. Pneumonia on baby and children under five years caused by bacteria and virus andinfluenced by some factors, such as environmental factor,child individual factor and behavioral factor. Environmental factors consist of house condition covers density of the house, ventilation, humidity, lighting, and air pollution in the house. For child individual factors cover child age, birth weight, nutritional status, immunization status, and giving vitamin A. Behavioral factors cover parents’ knowledge, immediate action to disease and coverage of health services. This study aimed to know the factors which influenced pneumonia occurrence on children under five at working area of Guntung Payung Health Center of Banjarbaru in 2013. This study used analytic survey method with cross-sectional approach. Population in this study was all children under five in working area of Guntung Payung Health Center of Banjarbaru in 2013 with 92 respondents. Based on the result of chi-square test showed there was no correlation among, age, birth weight and giving vitamin A with pneumonia occurrence on children under five age. Whereas, there was correlation between immunization status of children under five and pneumonia occurrence at Guntung Payung Health Center of Banjarbaru in 2013.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea occurred around 54.89%. Primary dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain that occurs since menarche and there are no abnormalities in the womb tool. The use of warm compresses on the lower abdomen during menstrual pain is expected to reduce the intensity of pain due to the widening of blood vessels resulting in increased blood circulation as well as an increase in capillary pressure. Warm compresses a method of providing a sense of warmth to the client by using the tools that lead to fluid or warm on the body requires. This study aims to determine whether there is the effect of a warm compress to the status of primary dysmenorrhea. This study used survey method using cross sectional analytic ie where variables including risk factors and variables which include the effect on the observation well at the same time. Total sampling Sampling method. The population in this study are all Level III student Prodi DIV Stikes Husada Midwife Educators in Borneo. The variables of this study is the provision of a warm compress and primary dysmenorrhea. Data analysis using chi-square test. Most respondents were female students who do warm compresses when experiencing primary dysmenorrhea which there are 59 (52.2%) respondents. Most of the respondents who do warm compresses when experiencing primary dysmenorrhea have mild dysmenorrhea status ie no 50 (44.2%) respondents. Suggestions addressed to the agency's research, science, respondents and for the community.
