Abstract

Language is the main means of communication in human life in this world, both in oral, written, or only in the form of certain symbols. As social human beings cannot communicate without language, humans inevitably have to interact with other humans. This research is a case study related to the acquisition of children's language in verb word classes in early childhood. Related to that, mastery of a language can be learned formally through understanding how the language is formed and created. Extensive knowledge about the process and nature of language acquisition can greatly help children in the success of language learning in children. To determine the division of children's language acquisition stages based on the average length of speech (PRU) or mean length of utterance (MLU)

Abstract

Implications of conversation are pragmatic implications that arise as a result of violating the principle of conversation in a speech. Implications of conversation often occur in a speech, one of them in the film. Laskar Pelangi is the fourth best-selling film with a total audience of 4.6 million people. As a film that is still often screened, there may be conversational implicature in the film's utterances. This study aims to describe the form of conversational implicature in the Laskar Pelangi film and explain the process of establishing conversational implicature as a result of violating the principle of cooperation in the Laskar Pelangi film. The research approach is a pragmatic approach and a qualitative descriptive approach. Research data in the form of fragments of speech are categorized in the form of conversational implicature and occur due to violations of the principle of cooperation. The data source of this research is a fragment of speech in the film Laskar Pelangi. In this study, the method used, namely refer to the method. The technique used is observation and note taking. The data that has been collected is then analyzed through three stages of the flow model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Presentation of the results of data analysis in an informal form. From 9 data found, including 3 violations of quantity maxim, 1 violation of quality maxim, 4 violations of relevance maxim, and 1 violation of maxim of manner. From this research, it is expected to find implicit meaning in a film related to real life.

Abstract

This mini research aims to: (1) describe speech acts contained in the writing of the book "Legenda Cerita Rakyat Nusantara", (2) explain the meaning of speech acts contained in the reading book. This mini research uses descriptive qualitative research type. To analyze the data through several stages, namely the stage of reading, identifying, categorizing, describing, and concluding. Data sourced from the book reading "Legenda Cerita Rakyat Nusantara" by Cahaya Fadilah published by Pustaka Anak Bangsa. The results obtained from this mini research are as follows: (1) the speech acts contained in the reading book "Legenda Cerita Rakyat Nusantara" are localized acts of speech, illocution and perlocution, (2) the speech acts contained in the reading book are meaningful for ask / pray, declare, decide, rule, and invite. Abstract

Literary works are part of works commonly referred to as works of fiction that have links to topics that support life. A writer is free to pour pleasure and live it into fiction. This Beneficial Object uses the novel Chased by Shadow by Djawastin Hasugian. The novel "Chased Shadow" in terms of the psychology of literature. The purpose of this study is to describe the facts of the id, the ego, the superego which are considered the main characters in the novel Chased Shadow. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The analysis used in this study uses heuristic and hermeneutic reading methods. Sigmund Freud. The technique of collecting data is reading and taking notes. The results of this study are the Mufti characters in the novel Chased Shadow have aspects of internal conflict that contain Sigmund Freud's theories namely id, ego, superego. Abstract

Short stories are reading material that tells short stories, are interesting, and arouse the emotions of readers. Describe the story of the highlighted figure with fictional cohesiveness. In a short story, the characters are raised and subject to a problem until the completion stage. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the hierarchy of Abraham Maslow's multilevel needs theory, represented by figures in the collection of the storyline Surau Kami by A.A Navis. The object of this study is the short story Surau Kami. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a psychological psychology approach. Content content analysis model. Use reading techniques and note things related to the purpose of the study. Based on the results of the analysis in the story of Robohya Surau Kami by A.A Navis, it can be concluded that the author has synchronously presented an extraordinary story in the story of Roboh Surau Kami. There are five hierarchical needs of Abraham Maslow's theory, namely: physiological needs represented by the figures Grandfather and Mr. Kari. The needs of love and possessions from the representation of the figures Indra Budiman and Mr. O.M, The need for security is represented by the figures Grandfather and Lena. The need to be respected is represented by Misri and the mother. The highest need is self-actualization represented by a nurse figure. Keywords: Hierarchy of needs, and short stories.
