Abstract

Along with the current development, air quality is very vulnerable to being polluted. Factors that affect air quality are an increase in infrastructure development, factories, motor vehicle fumes and any other human activity. Based on these factors, an air quality monitoring system that is integrated into a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) system is needed. In this study, a Wireless Sensor Network will be designed using Multisensor Network technology that works in real time to measure pollutant gas levels using the TGS 2442 sensor as a measure of carbon monoxide (CO) , MG811 sensor as a measure of carbon dioxide (CO2) , TGS 2611 sensor as a measure of HydroCarbon (HC), the DHT-11 sensor as a temperature and humidity meter and the SHARPGP2Y1010 sensor as a measure of particulate levels in the air (PM10). The data from this sensor reading is sent to the server using a Raspberry pi microprocessor. Furthermore, the data will be processed until it becomes information that can be used by users or the general public.

Abstract

This research is titled Integration of Stock Goods at a Mobile Store in Surakarta Singosaren Market. The final result of this research is an information system of goods integration in the mobile phone shop in Singosaren Market, Surakarta, which is expected to accelerate or help sellers get information on which stores are still in stock when there are buyers who want to buy goods and the seller happens to be empty. Then the sellers no longer need to ask directly to other sellers whether the stock is still there or not. The conclusion of this research is the integration of the stock information system at the mobile phone shop in Singosaren Market, Surakarta, if it can be implemented properly, will simplify and speed up shop owners in finding information on the availability of goods in other stores. It also has a function for processing purchase and sales transactions.

Abstract

Environmental Cleanliness still have low public attention. Public tends to inapropriately littering which caused by the trash bin is in full capacity. This things happened because the lack of monitoring by the janitor. The problem mentioned before can be overcome by designing an automatic monitoring system without being monitored all time and send notification. This research will design an automatic trash bin which will send notification of SMS upon reaching full capacity. This trash bin is equipped with Arduino Mega 2560, SIM 900 module, and infrared. This research will be implemented for a better quality of environmental protection.

Abstract

In general, people in Indonesia use the electricity purchasing system from the state electricity company in two ways, namely Postpaid and Prepaid. In postpaid electricity subscription mode, the customer uses electrical energy first and then pays the bill the following month. PLN officers must record the meter, calculate and issue accounts to be paid by customers, bill customers who are late or do not pay, and cut off electricity if consumers are late or do not pay their electricity bills after a certain time. This is a weakness in the postpaid system because of the gradual process before the customer finally makes a bill payment. Prepaid electricity is introduced to customers by providing several conveniences, namely being able to control their own use of electrical energy, customers only need to buy vouchers or tokens according to the desired nominal. This is also a form of sales control carried out by PLN because it can reduce the amount of customer receivables, so there is no need for late fees and can also maintain customer privacy by not calculating kWh meters every month. The solar electric system provides a new breakthrough by utilizing solar energy which is then converted into electrical energy. The use of solar energy for electricity generation has actually been carried out for a long time, namely since the early 1980s, but its application is still limited to small power systems or better known as the Solar Home System (SHS). This research has successfully implemented a comparison of postpaid, prepaid and solar energy use. From the test results, it is found that the most economical prepaid system among other systems applied is the postpaid system and the solar power system. The results of tests carried out at the household scale show that during the 10 years of life, the results of using prepaid electricity are 16.6% more efficient than solar panel systems and 17.7% more efficient than postpaid electricity and prepaid electricity is 1.34% more efficient than postpaid electricity

Abstract

In Blitar City, the use of coconuts from trees to fruit is increasing rapidly, from tree trunks that can be used for wooden horses, to the fruit which can also be used as various kinds of food and crafts. The growth of trade in handicrafts made from coconut shells, waste from craftsmen can also be used as additional material for making concrete because coconut shells contain a lot of chemicals. Not only coconut shell waste can be used in the manufacture of innovative building materials, but also red brick powder obtained from demolition of residential buildings and unused buildings. To prove and determine the effect of the addition of red brick powder and coconut shell waste, therefore the concrete compressive strength test used 24 samples consisting of normal concrete and 3 variations of red brick powder and coconut shell waste ranging from 3%, 6% and 9 %. So the results of normal concrete aged 14 days with a compressive strength of 19.42 MPa, so there is an increase of 20.02 MPa in the 3% mixture. Then there is a decrease in the amount of 16.53 MPa in the 6% mixture, and there is another increase in the mixture of 9%, which is worth 19.06 MPa. And at the age of 28 days the average is the same at the amount of 20.0 MPa and the mixture is 9%. the value of 19.45 MPa.

Abstract

Aggregate needs in Maubesi, North Central Timor Regency, , as a concrete mixture for the work of construction of natural stone, which has quite a large potential. Research is aimed at; 1) know the characteristics of the statical river in the Maubesi, North Central Timor Regency, and aggregate dulcet from Lumajang; 2) find to uncover of the pressure concrete and the pull that has been generated from the river of North East Timor Regency and the aggregate dulcet of Lumajang; 3) find out the modulus of elasticity of the rivers of the from river in the Middle East North Coast and the Lamajang . This research is a collaborative research on the sample base and analysis of aggregate characteristics and testing of basic conditions and tests interested in and modulus of elasticity. Aggregates Strong pressure from the basement to the beginning until the end is obtained from the 2.747 walk in zone 1 ( fine send ) aggregate North Center of Central Timor, with the strength of Central Timor in the amount of 13,472 MPa ( congrete age ) silkiness of the (concrete age 7 days) , 20,727 MPa (concrete age 28 days), The compressive strength of concrete from the initial age of concrete to the end was obtained from the Maubesi aggregate of North Central Timor with compressive strength of 13,472 MPa (concrete age of 7 days), 20,727 MPa (concrete age of 28 days), and strength Tensile pull of 1,529 MPa (7 days concrete age), 2,352 MPa (28 day concrete age). While the compressive strength of concrete is obtained from the aggregate. Lumajang with compressive strength totaling 18,072 MPa (7 days concrete age), 27,802 MPa (28 days concrete age), and Tensile strength of aggregate rolled concrete. , 3,297 MPa (concrete age 28 days).
