Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze Islamic views based on the causes of natural disasters in Indonesia. The research results show that most of the causes of natural disasters are immorality and polytheism. In line with QS. Surah Ar-Rum verses 41-42 that natural disasters are the work of human hands themselves and also shirk towards Allah. Thus it can be understood that natural disasters are not only caused by the aging of a nature. Getting closer and repenting is the only solution that can be taken while a human being is still alive. So by getting closer to the creator and cultivating justice and love for the environment, it will give change to nature and calm the people from the fear of natural disasters. Keywords: Islamic communication, Bencana Alam, surah ar-Rum 41-42

Abstract

Research on: Muhammadiyah Social Da'wah for Earthquake Survivors in Ahu Hamlet, besides aiming to find out the patterns and approaches of Muhammadiyah social da'wah to related communities, also critically analyzes the orientation and goals of the da'wah movement in question. The research data were obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews and document review. The data obtained were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman paradigm combined with the Von Eckarberg hermeneutic phenomenological analysis model. Referring to the description and analysis of the research data, it is concluded that MDMC's active mitigation efforts for earthquake survivors in Ahu were not only full of social activities, but also filled with preaching. The transmission of values and morals as one of the goals of da'wah, is implemented with an integral comprehensive pattern and approach. That is a pattern that combines verbal appeals (dakwah bi al-lisan) with real action on the ground (dakwah bi al-hal/amal). It is in this context that Muhammadiyah preaching for the survivors of Dusun Ahu is not just an appeal but at the same time running an institutional capacity strengthening program, with the aim that the survivors are able to face the reality of natural disasters that befall them with a positive attitude. MDMC's social da'wah movements and activities are oriented towards strengthening and dynamic social change, taking sides with weak and marginal groups and strengthening civil society for universal human progress and welfare, regardless of ethnic background, religion and organizational affiliation. Thus MDMC's active social preaching in the mitigation space is inclusive. Keywords: Da'wah, Muhammadiyah, Earthquake Survivors.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times, da'wah activities have experienced significant developments, especially in the media sector, namely that they are no longer only carried out on the pulpit but can be through music. The existence of music that is close to the community makes music an effective alternative medium of propaganda. Based on this, this study wants to see the da'wah messages contained in Ebiet G. Ade's song entitled For Us to Reflect. The type of research used is qualitative by using the literature review method. Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis as an approach in this study is to examine the meaning of a language with the process of meaning production and reproduction. The da'wah message contained in Ebiet G. Ade's song entitled "For Us to Think About" is a message about morals, namely remembering and inviting people to improve themselves and repent because all the bad things caused by human behavior will have a bad impact on both the man himself and himself. environment. Apart from containing messages of preaching in the form of morals, it is also in the form of the belief that humans live on earth because of Allah and how humans believe and accept the destiny that Allah wants and humans as servants of Allah so that they always return to Him.Keywords: Da'wah, Music, Van Dijk's critical discourse

For example, Indonesia is able to place itself in global politics dynamically, such as being in a non-aligned and G20 country, and is not touched by friction, clashes or conflicts of shifting civilizations because it has two strong things, namely the nation's motto Bhineka Tunggal Ika and the Pancasila state foundation and many are asked to participate. involved as a peacemaker in horizontal conflicts and humanitarian conflicts in several countries. Keywords: Samuel P. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the harmonization of Muslims and Christians in Tana Toraja. Philosophically it can be described as a representation of local wisdom and awareness. This study uses a qualitative method. Researchers hear, record, and understand the condition of the community as a whole about the values and meaning of the Toraja people's outlook on life. In Toraja society, in one family and even in one house you can find adherents of different religions, but they remain harmonious and peaceful thanks to the customs and philosophy of local wisdom of Tongkonan. Culture in society cannot be measured using data in the form of numbers, because researchers use qualitative methods. Based on the results of the research it is known that one form of harmonization is the creation of a community in society which is a very important social fact in a pluralistic society. In dealing with pluralism, the Toraja people are able to be tolerant of pluralism and are required to live in a pluralist spirit. This can be applied in interfaith life where religious differences do not have to be an obstacle in establishing brotherhood, unity and national unity. Keywords: Harmonization, Local Wisdom, Toraja
