Abstract

Clinical Instructor (CI) is one of the components on clinical learning that has an influence on the quality of learning and outcomes. Clinical instructor must know the competencies that must be possessed to be able to achieve the quality of education in accordance with established standards, but there are many clinical Instructor who do not yet know the competencies. Anesthesiology Nursing is one of the new study programs that requires preparation for clinical learning, so important to know the anesthetist's knowledge about competencies that must be possessed as preparation for student clinical practice. The objective of this study is to describe the knowledge of anesthetist nurses about the competencies of clinical instructor in the nursing anesthesiology clinical practice. The study design was descriptive with a qualitative approach, with 4 participants of anesthesiologist nurse at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital with in depth interview and snow ball sampling technique. Theresults of this study showed that there were 3 (three) final meanings of clinical instructor competency, namely professional anesthetist competency, effective communication competency, and teaching competency. The conclusion was the anesthetist clinical instructor’s knowledge is in accordance with the competency that the clinical instructor must have, but there is a competency that is not yet known by the anesthetist.

Abstract

Breast cancer ranks first in the number of cases of cancer as well as the biggest cause of death due to cancer in the world each year. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that is at risk of affecting body image. Quality of life is the concept of analyzing the ability of individuals to get a normal life. This study is to know there is a relationship between body image with quality of life in breast cancer patients (ca mammae) who run chemotherapy in RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul Yogyakarta. This research used correlation design with cross sectional approach. The population in this research was breast cancer patient (camammae) who run chemotherapy. The samples were 30 breast cancer patients (camammae) with accidental sampling techniques, instruments used Body Image Satisfaction (BIS) and The World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL)-BREF. The results were analyzed by Kendall's Tau test. The results of this study showed that the body image in the category was mostly 22 people (73.3%), while the quality of life in breast cancer patients (camammae) who run chemotherapy mostly included in the category both with percentage (70.0%) of 21 people. Kendall's Tau test results obtained correlation coefficient = 0.966 and with significance p = 0.000 0.01 (significance level). There was a relationship between body image with quality of life in breast cancer patients (camammae) who run chemotherapy.

Abstract

The health care industry is a capital-intensive, labor-intensive, and full information, with performance information that requires high concentration and attention from the health manager. Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is an importance technological innovation as a performance measurement system that strategically and allow manager translate organizational strategies into the mission and performance indicators with reality acceptance and its own variation response among users. The aim of this study is to determine the factor of affecting hospital managers’ behavior intention in implementing the balanced scorecard. This research type was quantitative with cross sectional design. The sampling technique using purposive sampling. The samples were 60 respondents. The data collected by questionnaires analyzed with multiple linear regression test. The quantitative analysis’ results of 60 samples showed that a simultaneous influence of easy perceive of using and usefulness perceive on behavioral intention in implementing BSC (Sig = 0,000 0,05) and easy perceive of using have influence on perceive of usefulness (Sig = 0,000 0,05). While partially easy perceive of using and usefulness perceive was affected toward behavioral intention is about (Sig = 0,422 0,05) and (Sig = 0,001 0,05), on the other side, the easy perceive of using have influence toward usefulness perceive (Sig = 0,000 0,05). The conclution was the hospital manajer's perception of the easy of use of BSC and the use of the manajer together have a significant impact on the manajer's behavioral intention to implement the BSC. The hospital manajer's perception of easy of use of the BSC had no significant effect on the intention to implement the BSC.

Abstract

Breast cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy often experience psychologic disorders in the form of anxiety. One of the efforts of medical treatment for cancer treatment is chemotherapy. Chemotherapy action resulted in physical and psychological side effects, one of the psychological effects that arise that is anxiety. Generally, management of anxiety can be pharmacological and non-pharmacological, one of the non-pharmacological management of Progresife Muscle Relaxation and dhikr therapy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of therapy (dzhikr) and Progressive Muscle Relaxation therapy with caring approach to the anxiety level of patients Breast cancer with chemomotherapy. This research used Quasi Experiment design with pretest and posttes with control design, with total sample 44 which is divided into control and intervention group, sampling technique used purposive sampling according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Instruments research used Zung Self Anxiety Rating Scale (ZSAS) questioner and checklist dzhikr and PMR. Analysis of research data used paried t-test and indenpenden t-test samples. The results showed that there was influence of therapy zhikr and Progressive Muscle Relaxation with caring approach to the anxiety level of ca mamae patients with chemomotherapy with p value=0,007(p value 0,05). Conclusion research there was influence of therapy zhikr and Progressive Muscle Relaxation with caring approach to the anxiety level of ca mamae patients with chemomotherapy.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the five largest cigarette consuming countries in the world. In addition, the data shows that the majority of smokers are the younger generation. Things that cause adolescents to smoke behavior can occur due to various factors, including smoking environment, gender, age, and other demographic factors. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship of demographic factors with smoking behavior in adolescents. This study used a cross sectional design. Respondents were vocational school adolescents. The population were 373 adolescents. The number of samples used in this study were 201 respondents. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Data analysis used chi square test. Data collection used questionnaire. The results of bivariate analysis of the relationship between sex factors and smoking behavior have a significance value of 0,007 (p0,05) which means there was a relationship between sex and smoking behavior in adolescents. While other demographic factors such as age, parental education, pocket money, and status of residence did not show significant results (p0,05) which means there was no relationship between age, parental education, pocket money, and residence status with smoking behavior in adolescents. Conclusion of this study said that gender was a demographic factor associated with smoking behavior in adolescents.
