Abstract

Arsitektur kontekstual merupakan bidang ilmu yang membahas hubungan suatu bangunan dengan lingkungan sekitar yang meliputi tiga hal yaitu: kegiatan, lingkungan dan visual. Penerapan arsitektur kontekstual dapat dilihat pada suatu kawasan bersejarah yang masih mempertahankan nilai-nilai sejarah. Salah satu kawasan bersejarah yang masih mempertahankan nilai-nilai sejarah pada bangunannya adalah Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana penerapan prinsip – prinsip arsitektur kontekstual pada Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta terutama prinsip bentuk. Prinsip – prinsip yang ada adalah kontras dan harmoni dalam segi ukuran, bentuk dan warna, namun penelitian ini akan mengkaji pada prinsip bentuk. Metode yang dilakukan dalam mengkaji arsitektur kontekstual pada Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta adalah dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif yaitu, melakukan observasi untuk mengetahui kontekstualitas dari bangunan-bangunan yang ada di dalam kawasan bersejarah kemudian dilakukan analisis dengan menggunakan prinsip arsitektur kontekstual yaitu prinsip bentuk. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengidentifikasi dan memberikan pemahaman mengenai prinsip bentuk pada arsitektur kontekstual terutama bangunan bersejarah di Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta.

Abstract

This paper discusses the morphology of urban kampong which includes the morphology of urban urban kampong artifacts, by first defining what urban kampong morphology is. The discussion in this paper is still general and can still be developed more about the morphology of urban artifacts in urban kampong. Kampung kota is part of an urban area that has Indonesian characteristics. This paper uses the method of studying literature using several references related to morphology. And the references used are those related to morphology and urban kampong. The result of this paper is that the morphology of urban kampong artifacts is that settlements in a city generally occur unplanned. Unplanned parts of urban areas are referred to as settlements that make up cities with morphological principles consisting of streets, plots and buildings.

Abstract

Ratu harbor beach is one of the mainstay tourist sites for the Regional Government of Sukabumi Regency in bringing PAD, besides public transportation facilities and terminals have a major role in supporting the queen port as a tourist attraction so that tourists are comfortable and facilitated in accessing through public transportation. The condition of the Pelabuhan Ratu Terminal, Sukabumi Regency is currently very poor, poorly maintained, and many supporting facilities are damaged and inadequate. This study aims to identify problems and formulate the type B terminal arrangement in Sukabumi Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative in order to get a picture of the problems of the situation and conditions currently taking place or occurring in the present and the study of policies. Collecting data by field surveys, literature studies and interviews. The results in this study get a terminal B type terminal design concept Sukabumi Regency according to current and future needs.

Abstract

Chinese migrants settled in Malay Archipelago in the 15th century. They carried their culture, especially their traditional houses (Kongsi). They come from Guangdong and Fujian, whose ethnicities are Hokkien, Hakka, Cantonese, Teochew. In Tangerang Raya area there are still a number of these houses that have survived, but are threatened with extinction. Though this house is also one of Indonesia's architectural heritage. So it is important to conduct its architectural research as an initial effort for conservation. What are the architectural characteristics of Kongsi's house in Tangerang Raya? Are there changes and shifts in characteristics that are different from the origin? This study uses qualitative methods by conducting observations of primary data in the field and other secondary data sources. This study aims to examine the character of the space system, the shape-form system, and the stylistic system of Kongsi houses in Tangerang Raya in three locations, namely: Panongan, Sewan, and Teluk Naga. The results showed that Kongsi houses in Tangerang Raya followed the traditional Siheyuan type of Chinese house. But there are some changes and shifts in the form of adaptation to the local local environment; minor on the system of space, moderate on the system of shape, major on the stylistic system.

Abstract

Each place has a Spirit of Place (soul of a place) or their respective identities - each different. A place that has no soul or Spirit of Place does not have a meaning that can be felt by its visitors. The meaning or impression caused by a place affects the attachment between the individual's soul and the individual's place. This study describes academically the characteristics and Spirit of Place in the Dia.Lo.Gue Artspace building, located at Jalan Kemang, South Jakarta. The Artspace and office are the buildings of famous Indonesian architects, Andra Matin. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with case study research methods. This research is expected to produce conclusions about the study of Spirit of Place in a building, and can be used to add insight and add architectural studies about Spirit of Place for those who have an interest related to the case study.
